A converted palace in the middle of a bustling city a haven of tranquility. A delightful but difficult building to negotiate one’s way around. Splendid bedroom beautifully appointed a joy to be in. The staff from the wonderful general manager down were helpful, courteous and extremely patient. To pick out a single member of staff is difficult but my vote goes to Ravi in the dining room. The chef was incredibly helpful when sorting out my dietary problems and produced meals of the highest quality.

The hotel's location is excellent. It is just about 1 km from the railway station if one walks. At the same time, it isn't noisy. It is on a road that is relatively quieter than the others around. The view of the fort is great from some of the rooms and i got see a beautiful sunset from my room. The service of the staff is courteous, extremely helpful and accommodating. Both mr. Sunny and mr. Ranjit parihar were warm, welcoming and polite before booking reservations and while confirming a day before reaching gwalior. I had wanted an early check-in and they very kindly accommodated my request. Rooms and bathrooms are clean and well maintained. Food is good too.From€32

If the things are unavailable then they must have a second option rather than straight away denying. I have booked a-park hotel, gwalior for two days in january. The hotel is good. Room was neat and clean. The reception and the other staff was customer friendly. The breakfast was selective but quality was good. The coins was that you will get the breakfast only after 8:30am/9am so if anybody wants to checkout early they should avoid breakfast. The hotel was centrally located and near to the market. Sarafa bajaar is on walkable distances. You may find good restaurants like delight, apsara and sher-e-punjab at 5 minutes walking distance.From€15

Check-in experience was not so good. Hotel manager asked me to shift in two single bed room instead of the deluxe double room, after argument they agreed to give the double deluxe bed. I found this property on makemytrip app, and got good discount over it. My experience of stay is quite well, the property was easy to locate as it is near to gwalior railway station, the room was clean and o dour free and the staff was very nice and attentive. Overall its a good find in this price range. Improvement that can be done 1. Slippers, hand towel, bodywash can be provided in the bathroom.From€17
