After staying for a day, I decided to stay with three meals a day! The hotel’s Chinese breakfast is good, and the rooms are clean. There is only one Chinese hotel in Ethiopia! There is also Cantonese morning tea!

This service is absolutely terrible, truly awful. If you want to order room service and pay with cash, you have to go down to the front desk first to pay, and then the front desk notifies the restaurant. I tolerated that. But when I got to the front desk and explained why I was there, as I was about to pay, they asked me where the cash came from and demanded proof. I told them I got it from the bank earlier, but I'd already thrown away the receipt. Since I couldn't prove it, I couldn't order food. Seriously, I'm not paying to stay in a hotel, I'm paying for torture! What happened to the spirit of room service? And then, when my friend went up to help me with my luggage, they demanded to hold onto my friend's passport at the front desk. I was furious and told them they had no right to detain my friend's passport. They righteously claimed it was for safety. I retorted that there are many ways to ensure safety, so why choose to seize a passport? This stay was an incredibly bad experience. Their service doesn't even come close to hotels like Hyatt, Marriott, or Tulip. Some of the staff even seemed arrogant and stuck-up. I will never stay here again.

I expected a lot from the hotel, but I can’t say that I liked it. The windows of the rooms either overlooked a noisy generator or a noisy road. The rooms are good, a good bed and amenities. Good level of service, all the staff are very polite. Upon arrival, they put a plate of fruit. We didn’t really like the breakfasts - in fact, we only ate an omelet and fruit, everything else was not to our liking. I went to the spa. The water in the pool is cool, the pool is outside, although it is always cool in Addis Ababa. The pool is a good size and will suit those who like to swim. I went to the spa. Good sauna and hammam. I signed up for a back massage. In the end, they gave me an expensive full body massage. I asked for a strong one - it was good. But why they left a bump on the back of my head is unclear. I felt pain and it was too late to tell them to stop - it hurt for 2 days afterwards. I think that in terms of price-quality ratio, this is a good hotel for Addis Ababa. Chain hotels here are overrated, unfortunately.

I booked a Swedish massage but wasn't convinced. And I was given a bath robe that was torn. Just an extra tip, beware of people outside the hotel who claim to work for the hotel (or another hotel). Seemingly nice people, but may take you to dangerous places

They granted my request to change room and when I returned from a tour, they let me stay in my requested room. Complimentary airport pick up and drop off is a nice additional service. Very close to the cathedral and traditional Ethiopian restaurant. Worth the money. 👍🏼

Some staff were good and front desk manager during the day but it's poor over the phone in the night and restaurant waitress. Couple of days we asked staff simple stuff, like butter and we was told, there's no butter and almost everyday breakfast it was the same except on Saturday, they provided samusas. There breakfast is very heavy 😕 😫.. rice, anjera eithopian pancake with mixed with eithopian spice sauce, different bread, mixed cooked vegetable, cooked cabbage, cupcakes, cakes and arabian beans and cold porridge make with water and one choice of cereal. The room is big but the cleaning is not good and we found cockrach but we already informed the front desk manager. Overall poor service, poor quality of food and poor cleaning.
