The view is amazing. The service is really great. Someone was very enthusiastic to show me the room. This is the first time I've encountered this in Europe. Although the hotel upgraded the room and there is a large terrace, the building is too low and the view in front is blocked. I don't know if this price is for the first floor. I'm also speechless. But the hotel has three swimming pools and the facilities are great. But the first floor room has a smell. It feels big. It's like the smell of wooden furniture. It's very smelly. Although they helped to deal with it, I didn't want to be sprayed with air freshener again. I didn't feel very comfortable staying for one night. There is a shuttle bus to and from the hotel. When I went there, I forgot that I had walked there. I took a detour and walked for a long time.

The breakfast is not many, but it is very exquisite and you can eat it well. Self-driving is not allowed here, there are shuttle buses to the train station, you need to call in advance to book. Several attractions are close. The hotel swimming pool is also good, although not large, you can swim and watch the mountain view. I will definitely choose here next time. Price is also good.

The service at the Julen is impeccable. The staff is incredibly accommodating and went above and beyond to meet every need we had, making us feel truly welcome. Speaking of needs, be sure to grab a bite at their downstairs restaurant. The food is excellent, though the space is a little on the cozy (some might say claustrophobic) side. Don't let that deter you, though - the culinary experience is well worth it. Overall, the Traditional Julen Hotel is a fantastic choice. Splurge on the Matterhorn room for an unforgettable view, and rest assured knowing you'll be taken care of by a truly exceptional team. Highly recommended!

I was charged for an additional 288 Swiss FR for “additional guest”. when I checked out. only because I did not put My Son’s name when I did the booking, but I booked a twin room and my son naturally stay with me. not to mention he’s my 13 year old son. they can charge me for additional breakfast. That’s totally OK. but additional person for twin room?really? And Main thing I was not told I will be charged when I checked in. That is not fair I will reflect this to Swiss tourism office. Btw. The staff are 100% good. Very friendly but I am sickened by the strange policy.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel! The excellent service rendered by the staff made our honeymoon much sweeter. Everyone was friendly, kind and always willing to help. Room was really nice and the extra sauna and open concept bathtub was a nice surprise! Breakfast spread was super delicious as well. Facilities like the wellness area include foot bath, infrared chairs, jacuzzi etc.

I traveled with clutch and to the hotel is simply easy walk. Direct opposite the rail station and near all the restaurants and Coop. I used the pool and it’s so nice.The breakfast was wonderful (some FOC selection in menu and a good spread in buffet) and they provide afternoon tea too.
