Overall, I liked the hotel. I have something to compare it to; we later moved to the St. Regis.
As for the room, the bed and pillows were comfortable, and it was cleaned twice a day. The staff did their best. However, there was a lingering damp smell, and my clothes didn't seem to dry, even in the room.
The beach is fantastic, with fine, white sand. The lounge chairs were very comfortable! No rocks or coral at the entrance to the water. Several types of drinking water with different flavors were freely available on the beach.
The breakfasts were delicious and varied, with plenty to choose from. We liked the restaurants, both Chinese and on the beach; everything was delicious!
We rented a car, so it's important to understand that there's not much to see in the area around this hotel, and overall, there's not much to see. Much more interesting options are on other coastlines—further west, perhaps.

The hotel service was good, and the rooms were cleaned promptly. Snorkeling at the water sports center was free. The restaurant offered a wide variety of food, and the hotel beach was beautiful, especially with its many lounge chairs.
