Great value for money! We booked a triple room for our family of three. The hotel is conveniently located near both the beach and the lively downtown area, and the price was just right. Highly recommended! I regret forgetting to take photos of the room before checking out, but the bathroom was spacious and it featured a balcony with a view. Plus, with a train station right next door, transportation was incredibly convenient.

Good location, beautiful room with a balcony but they didn't have any ice that was really annoying. The shower was amazing, water pressure is out of this world. Front desk was ok but the night guy was rude and it just killed the whole vibe. The day crew said we could ask for ice since they don't have ice machines so we did at night the guy said we could only have a little and they stop handing it out at 11pm which is inconvenient. They don't have any breakfast, food or snacks and the vending machine was not very functional. I would not stay there again.

Great hotel with great location and everything was very walkable. Hotel has no gym which was huge deal for me because I am athlete, however, I walked a lot around city which made up for it.
Hotel staff is wonderful. From the front desk to the cleaning lady everyone went above and beyond. Would stay here again.

I was very satisfied with my stay, though it's a pity it was only for one night. Next time I'm in Barcelona, I will definitely choose this hotel again. The service was excellent, and the room was arguably the largest I've stayed in during my visits to Barcelona. It's located on Passeig de Gràcia, making shopping incredibly convenient. As a welcome gift, they offered chocolate cookies and cava – and really, how can you go to Spain and not drink cava? First off, a huge shout-out to the service! From the moment we checked in, the front desk staff were incredibly warm and efficient, always with a genuine smile, and patiently answered all our questions. It wasn't just the front desk; every staff member throughout the hotel, from the pool attendants to the restaurant servers, made us feel comfortable, cared for, and truly valued. My elderly travel companions are quite particular about their food, and they had a few unconventional requests. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate them, and that feeling of being prioritized was truly wonderful.
The room's view also deserves a special mention! The moment I pulled back the curtains, I was absolutely stunned. The panoramic sea view outside was breathtaking and magnificent, with planes occasionally flying by. It's just a few minutes' walk to the beach, and at night, you can see countless lights twinkling. Even at midnight, people were everywhere on the beach, chatting, playing beach volleyball, and even doing Western-style line dancing. Every photo you take turns out picture-perfect.
Facilities and dining also didn't disappoint. The outdoor pool environment was fantastic; just soaking in it and enjoying the view was incredibly relaxing. The breakfast spread was super diverse, offering a full range of Chinese and Western options, hot and cold dishes, fruits, and desserts. Every morning, we started our day feeling satisfied and happy. For dinner, we opted for a set menu, and the portions were incredibly generous – enough to easily fill two people, and the taste was spot-on.
All in all, whether it's the service, the environment, or the dining, the W Barcelona excels in every aspect. Next time I'm in Barcelona, I'll most likely choose this hotel again! Absolutely fantastic!FromTWD 13,044

The facilities looked too old for a 5 star hotel. Even the coffee machine was too dirty so I had to wash it many times b4 I used it. The stains were hard to get off.. Locationwise, Its a little away from the main area. It wasnt too bad. The staffs were nice but next time if I visit Barcelona, I would stay at a hotel close to pl. catalunya where the airport bus stops. The staff were very welcoming, and the location is excellent – really close to the 'three-piece suit' (referring to the iconic Lujiazui skyscrapers). Plus, all the nearby restaurants are fantastic. The hotel is in a great area close to the city centre and shopping Square and also close to the Metro and bus lines. The staff are very nice and amenities are good. As a female solo traveller I felt very safe in this hotel especially because it’s a LGBTQ+ but hetero friendly hotel. The beds are comfortable just be aware that the shower is see-through so if you’re sharing you will likely see the person taking a shower. The pool was also very nice for chilling in after a very long day of exploring. Just be careful of removing anything in the minibar. I removed some of the things and placed them on the table because I wanted to use the fridge to put my food and drinks that I bought myself . I unfortunately almost got charged for the things that I removed from the mini bar fridge even though I hadn’t consumed them. I did however explain to the receptionist that I returned all the drinks in the mini bar as I hadn’t consumed them.Overall I really enjoyed staying in this hotel and will definitely stay here again.FromTWD 5,023

We stayed 4 nights here in a triple room. Staff is wonderful and very helpful! I would say the facilities are great - pool, gym and play area are very welcoming. Breakfast are great too! Only one major downside would be the noise - doors banging really loudly, you can hear noise from people walking from upstairs, and the walls are so thin that you can hear people talking at the corridor quite clearly. Loud banging doors are especially annoying as it’s a busy time during Easter so that means a lot of loud noises :( I have never had this issue with Marriot hotels so I hope they can do something to fix the doors! the location is very good， and this hotel design is quite classic and modern. I love it！They even offer paste and tooth brush and slippers in the room which is out of expection！
Besides the devices，what I appreciated more is their service. The man （sorry that I don't know his name，who with Asian face） in front desk is really amazing！ We left our luggage for 2days since we needed to move to other city. They kept it well and when we went back to fetch， the guy lead us to a separate room for us to have privacy to sort out our stuffs in luggage before flight. Lowlights: 1) Lost money in the hotel. We left some local currency which was taken when we had the room cleaned. 2) We paid for the breakfast option in cash, forgot to get a receipt, the following day the guys at the front desk said there were no records of the payment nor the additional breakfast. The bathroom is spacious, with bathrobes and slippers provided. The room heating is comfortable. There's a subtle fragrance in the room, which I really appreciated. The rooms and bathrooms are well-lit. Although facing the street, the soundproofing is good. Every morning, I open the balcony door and watch the sunrise from the small balcony, starting my day beautifully. The breakfast is good. The front desk and restaurant staff are warm and polite.
