One of the best hotels we stayed in Barcelona. The hotel location was very convenient when using public transport to go to major attractions in case you don’t want to walk too much. Walking distance to the Barcelona beach. The staff were very friendly and attended to all our needs. Everything was clean and daily room service keeps everything fresh and gets the vacation vibes going. The hotel even has a buffet breakfast option plus a very well maintained gym. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Barcelona!

The room is small but charming. The curtains and windows have a nice vintage feel. Even though it's close to the road, the soundproofing is good. Some of the staff speak Chinese, which is a plus. It's very close to the beach and not too far from the city center. There's also a train station right next door. Overall, I'm satisfied and this is my second time staying here. The off-season prices are great too.

Great hotel with great location and everything was very walkable. Hotel has no gym which was huge deal for me because I am athlete, however, I walked a lot around city which made up for it.
Hotel staff is wonderful. From the front desk to the cleaning lady everyone went above and beyond. Would stay here again.

From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted with bottled water, and they even gave a teddy bear to our young child – so thoughtful! I absolutely loved this hotel — it’s truly the best hotel in Barcelona! The classic and luxurious theme gives it a special charm. The room size is amazing; although it says 24 sqm, it feels much bigger, especially the bathroom, which is surprisingly spacious compared to other hotels.
One very thoughtful detail is that the room includes an adapter converter, which was extremely helpful for us with UK plugs. Another lovely touch is the chocolate they place on the bed every day after housekeeping — such a sweet gesture!
The location is perfect, right in the middle between the two most popular tourist areas. The Big Bus stop is also right outside, which makes getting around so easy, especially if you plan to use the hop-on hop-off bus.

First off, a huge shout-out to the service! From the moment we checked in, the front desk staff were incredibly warm and efficient, always with a genuine smile, and patiently answered all our questions. It wasn't just the front desk; every staff member throughout the hotel, from the pool attendants to the restaurant servers, made us feel comfortable, cared for, and truly valued. My elderly travel companions are quite particular about their food, and they had a few unconventional requests. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate them, and that feeling of being prioritized was truly wonderful.
The room's view also deserves a special mention! The moment I pulled back the curtains, I was absolutely stunned. The panoramic sea view outside was breathtaking and magnificent, with planes occasionally flying by. It's just a few minutes' walk to the beach, and at night, you can see countless lights twinkling. Even at midnight, people were everywhere on the beach, chatting, playing beach volleyball, and even doing Western-style line dancing. Every photo you take turns out picture-perfect.
Facilities and dining also didn't disappoint. The outdoor pool environment was fantastic; just soaking in it and enjoying the view was incredibly relaxing. The breakfast spread was super diverse, offering a full range of Chinese and Western options, hot and cold dishes, fruits, and desserts. Every morning, we started our day feeling satisfied and happy. For dinner, we opted for a set menu, and the portions were incredibly generous – enough to easily fill two people, and the taste was spot-on.
All in all, whether it's the service, the environment, or the dining, the W Barcelona excels in every aspect. Next time I'm in Barcelona, I'll most likely choose this hotel again! Absolutely fantastic!FromIDR 7,479,655

Our best stay in Spain. The staffs were all friendly. I only managed to catch a few people’s names like Anass, Raquel, Sebastian but everyone (front desk, concierge, housekeeping, breakfast staffs) in the hotel made us feel very welcome and comfortable. For example, Sebastian offered a pair of scissors without us even asking when he saw us repacking our luggage at the lobby. Everyday we went out and returned, everyone would greet us. We truly felt the warm welcome and friendliness of the Spanish through them. Very glad to book this hotel even though the hotel may be slightly more expensive than other hotels in Barcelona. Housekeeping seems to be done twice daily too (they will leave us chocolates on our bed every evening which is extremely sweet of them). Housekeeping team also sprayed fragrance on our little pillows which we brought with us on the trip (no other hotels have done so for us into past).
One more thing to add is that the showers in the hotel are full glass so it lacks privacy. We did not know this beforehand but only upon our check in. Anass and team assisted us the next day to stick privacy film to make us more comfortable.
A pity is that the Michelin starred restaurant located in the hotel is closed from Sunday to Tuesday, so we could not get to try it. The breakfast is the same every morning too but it was alright.

I have stayed in many different hotels in Barcelona but this is definitely my favourite. The location is perfect- close to Rocfort metro and within walking distance to all attractions even the Rablas and the Gothic Quarter.
The staff are friendly and professional and extremely helpful. Thanks again to Mark for making me a cappuccino at 6am. Fresh linen, towels, fridge, safe and comfortable bed. The hotel's location is a bit far from most attractions, but it's close to Camp Nou and next to a bustling commercial area, which felt very safe for us. It's right next to El Corte Inglés department store, with several local supermarkets, Asian grocery stores, and restaurants nearby. The metro station is also very close, making it super convenient. The room felt a bit dated, but the facilities were decent. There wasn't a main light in the room, so it was a bit dim. The kitchen was excellent and well-equipped for cooking. My travel plans kept changing, so I booked day-by-day to avoid having my entire trip cancelled. I booked a standard room the day before, but due to a booking error, I ended up with a 'Seventy Room' today and needed to switch. In the morning, I specifically requested a twin room at check-in, and the front desk agreed. When I returned in the evening, I found it was still a single king-size bed room. I talked to the front desk, and they informed me that all rooms were booked, and they couldn't switch me to a twin. Actually, a king-size bed is just two smaller beds pushed together, so all they needed to do was change the bedding to accommodate us. However, the hotel's handling of the situation was very rigid, so I'm deducting points for service. There's no real difference between the 'Seventy Room' and the standard room, so it's not worth paying extra for it.FromIDR 7,256,734

The hotel location was great, near the metro and v walkable to the shopping district.
Room was big and spacious (think we got the room for the wheel-bounded by chance). However, its cleanliness can be worked on as we found strays of hair on the bathroom wall and also a clump of dust on the hairdryer net.
The bottled water as well as the tap water tasted a bit funny and felt slimy (you know the feeling you get when you have to wash your hands vigorously to get rid of that soapy feeling), but we googled and it’s probably just Barcelona’s water sewage system at it.
The wifi was strong, and the water pressure of the shower was great. Note the hotel does not provide bathroom slippers though.FromIDR 5,082,599

The hotel is located in a residential area, about a ten-minute walk from the beach. There's a bus stop right outside, and it's a 10-15 minute bus ride or a 20-25 minute walk to the Arc de Triomphe. There are also many great cafes and restaurants nearby. The hotel itself is large, new, and well-equipped, offering excellent value for money.
