Good location, beautiful room with a balcony but they didn't have any ice that was really annoying. The shower was amazing, water pressure is out of this world. Front desk was ok but the night guy was rude and it just killed the whole vibe. The day crew said we could ask for ice since they don't have ice machines so we did at night the guy said we could only have a little and they stop handing it out at 11pm which is inconvenient. They don't have any breakfast, food or snacks and the vending machine was not very functional. I would not stay there again.

Great hotel with great location and everything was very walkable. Hotel has no gym which was huge deal for me because I am athlete, however, I walked a lot around city which made up for it.
Hotel staff is wonderful. From the front desk to the cleaning lady everyone went above and beyond. Would stay here again.

I absolutely loved this hotel — it’s truly the best hotel in Barcelona! The classic and luxurious theme gives it a special charm. The room size is amazing; although it says 24 sqm, it feels much bigger, especially the bathroom, which is surprisingly spacious compared to other hotels.
One very thoughtful detail is that the room includes an adapter converter, which was extremely helpful for us with UK plugs. Another lovely touch is the chocolate they place on the bed every day after housekeeping — such a sweet gesture!
The location is perfect, right in the middle between the two most popular tourist areas. The Big Bus stop is also right outside, which makes getting around so easy, especially if you plan to use the hop-on hop-off bus.
I definitely recommend this hotel and will absolutely stay here again!From€387

First off, a huge shout-out to the service! From the moment we checked in, the front desk staff were incredibly warm and efficient, always with a genuine smile, and patiently answered all our questions. It wasn't just the front desk; every staff member throughout the hotel, from the pool attendants to the restaurant servers, made us feel comfortable, cared for, and truly valued. My elderly travel companions are quite particular about their food, and they had a few unconventional requests. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate them, and that feeling of being prioritized was truly wonderful.
The room's view also deserves a special mention! The moment I pulled back the curtains, I was absolutely stunned. The panoramic sea view outside was breathtaking and magnificent, with planes occasionally flying by. It's just a few minutes' walk to the beach, and at night, you can see countless lights twinkling. Even at midnight, people were everywhere on the beach, chatting, playing beach volleyball, and even doing Western-style line dancing. Every photo you take turns out picture-perfect.
Facilities and dining also didn't disappoint. The outdoor pool environment was fantastic; just soaking in it and enjoying the view was incredibly relaxing. The breakfast spread was super diverse, offering a full range of Chinese and Western options, hot and cold dishes, fruits, and desserts. Every morning, we started our day feeling satisfied and happy. For dinner, we opted for a set menu, and the portions were incredibly generous – enough to easily fill two people, and the taste was spot-on.
All in all, whether it's the service, the environment, or the dining, the W Barcelona excels in every aspect. Next time I'm in Barcelona, I'll most likely choose this hotel again! Absolutely fantastic!From€320

The facilities looked too old for a 5 star hotel. Even the coffee machine was too dirty so I had to wash it many times b4 I used it. The stains were hard to get off.. Locationwise, Its a little away from the main area. It wasnt too bad. The staffs were nice but next time if I visit Barcelona, I would stay at a hotel close to pl. catalunya where the airport bus stops. It was tiring to carry my luggage all the way to the bus station 🫠From€301

So thoughtful and detail-oriented! I just mentioned I was in town for a football match, and I had a pleasant surprise in my room that evening. The staff were very welcoming, and the location is excellent – really close to the 'three-piece suit' (referring to the iconic Lujiazui skyscrapers). Plus, all the nearby restaurants are fantastic. An important aspect is that we felt safe in this hotel, especially when we read and heard so much about Barcelona.

I have stayed in many different hotels in Barcelona but this is definitely my favourite. The location is perfect- close to Rocfort metro and within walking distance to all attractions even the Rablas and the Gothic Quarter.
The staff are friendly and professional and extremely helpful. Thanks again to Mark for making me a cappuccino at 6am. Fresh linen, towels, fridge, safe and comfortable bed. The pool upstairs and the gym is a gem and a great place to retreat to when it gets hot and you fancy a swim or tan. You can’t fault this hotel- believe the hype.From€154

I would say this was my most satisfied stay all over the Spain this time.Firstly,its a very safe and convenient place,a big shopping mall just aroujd the corner.Secondly,they r equipped with all cooking tools and stuffs that i can make my DIY dinner,i can buy all things to cook at the suppermall closed by,or there're some restaurants there including including Asian one too.Thirdly,its very closed to the Sant station.All in a word,i would choose again next time when drop by.From€89

The hotel's overall environment exceeded my expectations. It's located just off the end of Passeig de Gràcia, surrounded by many delicious tapas bars and great brunch spots. The 'Chorros' place across from the hotel is absolutely fantastic, and the coffee shop serves excellent coffee too. The hotel even boasts a Michelin-starred restaurant! Highly recommended!

The bathroom is spacious, with bathrobes and slippers provided. The room heating is comfortable. There's a subtle fragrance in the room, which I really appreciated. The rooms and bathrooms are well-lit. Although facing the street, the soundproofing is good. Every morning, I open the balcony door and watch the sunrise from the small balcony, starting my day beautifully. The breakfast is good. The front desk and restaurant staff are warm and polite.
