Breakfast is very good, but it is not included in the room rate, but paid separately in the restaurant. The location of the hotel is within the Uva campus. Parking is very convenient. Park your car at the front desk of the hotel and the staff will help you park. American country style hotel, recommended!

Beautiful hotel! Front desk very friendly,especially Latasha! My request for a quiet room was granted. The 6th floor in low numbers is good. I stayed 3 nights for work and my room was SPOTLESS! The mattress was firm, my pillows fluffy. I especially loved the slippers because I forgot mine. Upon arrival Franklin helped me with my luggage and on a rainy day my umbrella was in my car. He kindly gave me one. The only drawback was the Valet parking. They're very good at what they do but I wish there was maybe off-site parking. $18 is a bit steep, I walked to work so I paid for my car to be parked. The morning coffee in the lobby was very good. I didn't get a chance to eat at restaurant Ridley but the aroma sure smelled good. I would definitely stay here again. The lobby's decor and seating was very comfortable.

This is my second stay in a month. I was surprised that the front desk remembered me. The service is mature and efficient. Check-in, check-out and luggage storage are all done in minutes. The room heating and the view outside the window are better than the first time. The area seems to be a little bigger? The hotel is very clean and comfortable overall, and the toiletries are also good. The location is very convenient, close to the corner and main campus. I will stay again if I have the chance

The room is actually so-so. The old man at the front desk was very cute. There was a problem with the system that day and the room card could not be opened. He tried for a long time, ran up and down tired and sweated, and finally changed the room for us. very enthusiastic.

This time I booked a room on the first floor. The whole hotel is still arranged according to the courtyard garden. The four corner rooms surround the garden. You can open the door and go out for a walk in the garden... The whole hotel is in a good location and very quiet. Facilities maintenance and hygiene are also very good. In this town, it is a hotel close to the airport. If you want to catch a plane, this hotel is a good choice.

The room was beautiful, spacious, well designed, and the cleanliness and details on amenities throughout the room were impressive! We will definitely stay again! The room is super spacious, with two 1.5 meters beds, a double sofa next to it, and a refrigerator is also large. All aspects are very good, comfortable and clean, the only drawback is that the breakfast ends too early at 9 o'clock and can't catch up with breakfast.

Our Neighborhood—The Honey House is located in a quiet residential neighborhood called Sherwood Farms on the Southwest corner of Charlottesville, just beyond the UVA campus. The oldest buildings in the neighborhood were built in the late 1950s. Our street, Overlook Drive is a mile-long loop with about 30 homes, each having 2-4 acres. The unique location offers best of both worlds: in beautiful nature yet close to town, UVA and everything Charlottesville, Central to many major wineries and breweries. It has easy access to I-64, Route 29 and 250, but is tucking into the woods, out of sight and earshot of all roadways; and you can generally come and go without traffic delays.Interaction with guests:We're friendly and unobtrusive and almost always around. Let us know if you need anything. You may see us sometimes in the vegetable garden or the small apiary with bees all the way back. You may also encounter a few bunnies and birds as well as butterflies. Come listen to the rain on a tin roof and sleep in the morning until you are finished. You and your children can feed the chickens, collect eggs, milk goats or go for a long walk. Due to bio-security and health issues we have a strict no pet policy! The owners live in a separate cottage a short distance away and are available for help or emergency. You can ring the dinner bell or hang out in the "Man Cave" with the 42 inch flat screen TV. Come away and relax with a glass of wine in the cool of the evening as all the stars in the Milky Way pop out to greet you. The most amazing part of this saga is that it is available only a short 14 minute drive from the Rotunda at University of Virginia. Quarters Farm is also only 15 minutes from Pippen Hill Vineyard, King Family Vineyard and Pollack Vineyard. We are 45 minutes from Wintergreen and close to many fine restaurants.One new addition is a catering service provided by close friends. They can have the frig stocked when you arrive or cater a meal during your stay. Prices and information sent upon request. The history of the farm only adds to the mystique. In 1745 King George of England granted 1800 acres to the Mills family who moved to Virginia and had a three story home built with 6 rooms for themselves and their three sons. This home predates the beginning of construction on Thomas Jefferson's Monticello by 18 years. In the 275 years since then, wings and additions have been added on to the original stone and log construction My father purchased 180 acres, along with the house, in 1952. It is now a sustainable farm selling pastured eggs, and other products which are all available to our guests. My wife and I live in a house close by and run the farm. A beautiful kitchen attached to a large screened-in porch, along with a second story porch for enjoying the mountain views with your favorite beverage. 4 bedrooms and two bathrooms will comfortably meet your needs.ALERT: Due to the design of this historic home, there are NO bathrooms/bedrooms on the ground floor. Easy access to UVA (11miles), the Downtown Mall of C'ville (13mi), and numerous vineyards and breweries on the West side of town. Starhill Brewery, Blue Mountain Brewery, King Family Vineyard, Historic Monticello, Carter's mountain, Afton tunnel and see Chile's Orchard and Farmer's Market all within a 20 minute drive! Our studio is also located with easy access to the Blue Ridge Parkway, Shenandoah National Park, Skyline Drive and Appalacian Trail. The wooded area has glimpses of the Blue Ridge Mountains and has a private and comfy feel. Our spaces is an apartment on the top floor of an auxillary building on our property. There is ample parking and a private entrance with self check-in. We offer a top of the line queen bed, pull-out couch, office nook, full bathroom and full kitchen. Wifi internet is available along with Chromecast for entertainment The kitchen is fully stocked with a small refigerator, Keurig, sink, stove and microwave, (oven doesn't work).
