Absolutely, absolutely, absolutely wonderful! Lush greenery right beneath the pyramids—the ambiance, service, security, dining, gym, room service... everything was excellent. The hotel can arrange transportation to the pyramids, and after breakfast, you walk straight into a direct view of the Great Pyramid of Giza, going against the flow of the crowds entering from the main gate. This was fantastic for the hot weather! The hotel's rich history goes without saying; the palace where the Cairo Conference was held is currently undergoing renovations, but you can see the exterior. The staff are highly professional, incredibly warm, and attentive when answering questions. We even stumbled upon a beautiful wedding! Everything was just superb! The pyramids are definitely worth seeing, but the Marriott Mena House, with its pyramid views, is even more worth the visit.
- Hey-trip
The iconic hotel located at this perfect location facing the great pyramids with a rich history and it did not disappoint us in general. Easy access to the pyramids, GEM tour. Good service and friendly staff.
However, we paid for more to get an upgraded room - to have the partial pyramids view. Yet, there was a wedding ceremony setup inside the hotel, which affected our overall experience.
The Indian restaurant was quite recommended! Lunch at 139 was also good!
