Good staff service. You can relax in the room. I think that it is the best hotel in terms of transportation access. I will also use it next time.

We stayed here prior to a flight. Nice breakfast, comfortable hotel. We dropped off the rental car the evening prior to our flight out at the airport and the hotel shuttle was very prompt to put us up to take us back to the hotel. Hotel shuttle was convenient and prompt taking us for our flight the next day.
- Guest User
Nothing but a positive experience staying at the Hyatt Place -- location is ideal for pre/post flight from PDX, with many food/shopping options in walking distance and tons of parking. Staff was friendly and helpful, shuttle to the airport was prompt, and room was quiet and clean. What else do you need?

The Nines is a luxurious hotel that met and exceeded my expectations. Location: The Nines is located in Central Portland, near Pioneer Courtyard Square, and is a stone's throw away from many excellent restaurants, shopping, and tourist destinations. Room: The room itself is fairly large and luxurious, with a very new renovation. The two queen beds were very large and the bedding was very comfortable. The washroom is large and has everything that is needed. The ceiling height is very high, so it makes the room feel very spacious. Well done and designed. Common Area: Wow! From the entry of the hotel, to the hallways upstairs, it was surely a journey through excellent design! The lobby is in the center of the hotel, on the eighth floor. The lobby is large and is very well designed, with an atrium/courtyard like style. Service: People were attentive and housekeeping did a good job. Concierge was willing to help and had an excellent attitude. Without any doubt, The Nines is surely Portland's best hotel.

Very good location, the hotel feels warm. The room is also relatively large. There is a bar on the top floor of the hotel with a beautiful night view. The hotel restaurant is also good.

I stayed here for three nights for a trade show at the convention center. The convention center is a few minute walk from the hotel. I checked in late and informed the hotel in advance that I was checking in late thru the Marriott App. No issue with checkin and gave me a free bottle of water when I arrived at 11pm at night and they have a few shelves of things you can buy from..snacks and drinks Front desk was also helpful in storing my bags as I had the redeye home As a Platinum member I received $10 food credit and used it at the restaurant. Staff was very nice and attentive at the restaurant and only ate there for breakfast and overall good value for the omelets I ordered. Room was a solid Courtyard king with a smart tv so easy to login into my netflix account I would stay again if at a trade show..otherwise no reason to stay in that area. The tram was a few minute walk to take you to airport or Pioneer Square.

There are too many American tramps. When a smoking place is smoking outside the hotel lobby, a tramp is coming. It may be the reason of American culture. The hotel concierge borrowed the car and saw that it did not drive away. No way, the tramp asked for three cigarettes. . Other aspects of the hotel comprehensive good w

Stayed for one night with my family of four in a 2B unit. The good: Check in was easy, although mobile check in didn't work this time. Was assigned room at end of hallway on third floor. Unit was clean and comfortable and had all the amenities we were expecting. Staff were very helpful. Great attitudes at night and during day Asked for late check out of 2pm which was provided Complimentary parking and a visible security person walking the grounds outside. THE BAD-(but as advertised on their website and throughout hotel) All common areas are closed due to COVID. Pool, fire pit, sitting areas, morning breakfast. They did provide grab and go breakfast with breakfast bar, yogurt, orange juice and mandarin oranges. THE BAD (not advertised) The People in the room above us were really loud at night and in the morning. Must have been a family with kids as they were running, jumping all over at 7am. Hard to control that All in all enjoyed our stay here and will for sure consider staying here again.

The room temperature was absolutely perfect the entire night!!! The front desk staff was so helpful, present and kind! Everything was clean and sophisticated! We appreciated the extra security of needing to use a card in the elevator to get up to our floor. Despite being in the city, the room was very quiet and the fan stayed on all the time to help with that. A really excellent experience!

The room and amenities were nice (really nice) but the real highlight was the folks working here. Everyone made us feel welcome, the happy hour was an extra nice thing. When we asked about food trucks the person at the front desk made us a custom list on the spot based on questions he asked us. Also the hotel has a great “what to do in Portland” guide — I found the (awesome) arcade through it.

Because the meeting stayed for two days, it was considered to be a more cost-effective hotel. Room size is ok, transportation is also convenient in NE, two subways out, and next door is LylodCenter for shopping

Very good for the motel! The room is large, clean, very close to the airport, the service is very good! It was already at 12 o'clock in the middle of the night, and I called the hotel to ask for a pick-up. It was very clear instructions, and I got it quickly. It was very good!

Our stay at the Hampton Inn Portland Airport location was superb! Our flight got in around midnight and the shuttle was available to take us to the hotel within 20 minutes of landing. The property seemed extremely clean and updated. The room was very comfortable, clean, and quiet. The room decor also seemed very modern and chic. The bed was SOOO comfortable and luxurious, and the included toiletries were also great. The free continental breakfast was AWESOME, especially the cheesy bacon breakfast biscuits. The selection of items was amazing. The staff was also extremely helpful and friendly. The location also felt very safe and secure, which is important. Overnight parking is gated, which is nice. I would DEFINITELY return to this location. It really raised the bar as far as hotels are concerned, in my opinion. Everything was excellent.

Parking is a bit expensive, but there is a good parking space in the city center. The room is large. It is a luxury in the local area. There is a happy hour every afternoon. It’s very convenient to go out and play around. Walking distance to the dining street and several online red stores.

We stayed here for three nights. The design of the hotel is simple and simple like a studio. The room is more spacious and the bed is comfortable. The surrounding environment is also good to the city center. There was some problem with the lighting of the room, and the cabinet placed in the coffee machine was almost invisible. Although there are windows that can't be opened, it wastes natural air and does not meet the environmental protection concept emphasized by the hotel itself. Because it is probably a new hotel, the air circulation is not good, some taste (still acceptable)

I honestly don't think I've ever had a worse or more disappointing hotel experience than the one I just had at River's Edge in Portland. From the outside, when I first arrived, I wasn't sure if the hotel was even open. It appeared to still be under construction. The only things visible from outside the entrance were construction debris and plastic tarp. I wouldn't have been surprised to find I had simply gone to the wrong place. However, the doors did automatically open as I approached, so I cautiously entered. I expected to be chased out by an angry construction worker. There was no lobby, to speak of. The check-in desk was essentially a folding card table with a computer, and a frazzled employee who seemed to be frustrated to have to work under such conditions, exhausted from having to make excuses for the position they had been put in. My room was supposed to have a balcony with a river view. Only, the windows and doors to the balcony were sealed off with more plastic sheeting. Not only could I not see the river, I couldn't even get onto the balcony. When I went to wash my hands, there was no hot water. I mentioned it twice to the person the ”front desk,” but there was still no hot water when I returned from an evening out. I called down again to inform them that I still didn't have hot water, and was told that someone would call me back shortly. They never did. Consequently, I was unable to shower the next morning. I had to tell the person at the the front desk, again, that there was no hot water on my way out for the day. We did end up having hot water when we returned that evening. I had been told that the construction that was taking place that had necessitated the plastic sheeting on my balcony would be taken down the next day, and that our balcony would be accessible, but that never happened. When we returned from one of our evenings out, the elevators stalled just as it reached our floor, and the doors only opened part way. We had to carefully exit sideways to fit through the gap, but we were worried that the doors might close on us as we did, or that the elevator might suddenly decide to go up or down before we got through. We were informed that our room would only be serviced if we requested, so it basically felt like we paying for a bed, a parking space, and nothing more. Our bill was $437.54 for two nights of feeling like we were trespassers at a construction site. This is not a place that anyone should pay any amount to stay at.

First the staff is exceptional! The chef Roberto and Passion the wait staff was lovely. So were front desk people and fellow in charge of Hotel maintenance. The rooms were mini especially Room 301 ,a Queen. I dropped a sock behind the dresser drawer and it was pretty dusty. The drawers were enamel coated and not wiped down. We came early on a Thursday after 3PM and took the tram in from the airport maybe a 30 minute ride, We came two days early before the cruise started and found the area to be dismal. We did walk to Cheryl's a great breakfast place then from there to the Japanese Gardens and back to Powells bookstore and hotel about 8miles in total. Streets in from of hotel were filled with leaves and debris. Homeless tents on opposite side of streets. We found a rat outside of building in the hotel bushes. It was near were the luggage from the previous cruise entered the building. So, by the time we returned it was gone. In addition, we were told 200 homeless people had just been removed from the water walk across the street. Portland is still a depressed city after the riots. The area near the hotel is a ghost town. I would recommend the Kimpton Hotel as an alternative that is less than a half mile away. We were on an UNCRUISE trip down the Snake River. So, we came early. Its not a bad location and they accept pets. It wants to look and appear funky. The sign that would normally would say ”DO NOT DISTURB” says ”I'm Naked”. I wouldn't put that sign out as a single woman. It seems like marketing is a bunch of 20 year old boys. The lobby is very small.

Tina at the front desk was warm, welcoming, and accommodated our request for an early check-in and late check-out. We got a quiet room as requested, had a comfortable bed, and slept extremely well. There was no microwave or rubber bathtub mat, but upon request the front desk sent up both immediately. There was a problem with the in-room safe, and the engineer came up immediately to change the battery. I’ve never experienced such fast problem resolution in a hotel. The fitness center was clean and had a good variety of machines. The laundry room had 2 washers and 2 dryers. Breakfast was not included, but you can buy snack items at the front desk. For the rate we paid, we got excellent value and will stay again our next time in Portland.
