The hotel opened this April and is just a 3-minute walk from the underground exit of Osaka Station. The surrounding area is conveniently located with numerous department stores. The hotel is very beautiful, and the rooms are spacious and clean. They provided complimentary fruit and snacks, and the Aesop toiletries smelled wonderful. The staff were very polite, and the beds were spacious and the bedding was comfortable. There's a bar downstairs in the lobby where you can enjoy afternoon tea, which is exquisite and delicious.

I only spent a few hours in Osaka, except for sleeping, and chose the Waldorf Astoria. Everything was well worth it; the room and breakfast were excellent, and I felt right at home. I highly recommend it.

The Osaka branch offers a modern interpretation of traditional ryokan aesthetics, with a 16-meter-high swimming pool and private Japanese baths offering a unique and immersive experience. From child-friendly cribs and baby cribs to customized rooftop dinners and couples spa treatments, Four Seasons offers meticulous attention to detail, ensuring every business trip, family vacation, or romantic escape becomes an unforgettable experience.

Centrally located in Osaka, just steps from the Umeda shopping district, this hotel boasts very spacious rooms. It feels brand new, and both the facilities and service are top-tier. They even provided an extra bed for our child, which was a thoughtful touch. We stayed for three nights and highly recommend it!

I stayed in a skyline room, the breakfast was really good, the location was OK, there were more European and American guests. If you have large luggage, I suggest you split up and find the elevator first, or take a taxi. It was raining when I left, and they gave me an umbrella at the door and told me not to tell anyone.
- Liguoxiangxiang
The room was nice, but the cleanliness was average. There was thick dust on the clothes hangers. When I first complained to the hotel, the hotel did not respond or apologize. I apologized after reporting it to the lobby manager.

My friends and I came to Japan for National Day, and we specifically chose to stay in a five-star hotel for a day. This place had good reviews, and it looked like it had a great view directly facing Osaka Castle. When we arrived, it was evening. At the lobby, they took all our luggage. We just had to go upstairs to check in. The staff brought our luggage directly to our room. The front desk needed passports for everyone and a deposit. I heard that credit card refunds can be slow, so I opted for a cash deposit. The accommodation tax was directly deducted the next day. The room was really spacious! And since there were three of us, the hotel set up a third bed by the window. The capsule coffee in the mini-bar was free, but there was a price list for everything else. There was a surprising amount of water in the room. The bathroom was huge, with separate wet and dry areas, and a large bathtub. They provided three bathrobes and even separate spring/summer pajamas in the drawer. The shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner all smelled lovely. We also made sure to check out the gym. One of my friends woke up early the next day to work out (so dedicated!). You need your room key card to enter the gym. It was very clean, had a good selection of equipment, and even complimentary fruit. The swimming pool seemed to require reservations, and since we didn't bring swimsuits, we didn't go. For breakfast the next day, you just give your room number and then there's a menu to order from, with both Western and Chinese options. I ordered fried eggs with sausage, and my friend had the Japanese set. Other items like bread, pastries, coffee, and yogurt were self-service, but I thought the taste was just average. Oh! One thing I thought was really great was that my friend got her period and stained the bedding. When we checked out, I asked the front desk if there would be a cleaning fee, and they said it was absolutely fine! That was really good. Plus, they even had a Chinese-speaking front desk staff, so communication was seamless.
- JOYING121
The room was quite spacious for Japan, and the service was very friendly. The hotel had a really pleasant fragrance. The night view of Osaka Castle from the top floor in the evening was a real highlight, and the nearby restaurants were also delicious. The breakfast provided was pretty good too. The only minor inconvenience was that to go down from your room, you had to take the elevator to the top floor first and then switch to another elevator to reach the first floor. Other than that, everything was great.

The hotel's location is convenient, about 1km from the commercial center's Daimaru and Hankyu department stores, and around 600m from the subway station. The room facilities are well-maintained, and the staff are enthusiastic. Breakfast is well-organized with orderly queuing, though the variety of dishes is just average.
- Xiaoxiaoxiaoxiaolaotou
We were disappointed. Not the Ritz Standard Service. We weren’t greeted by anyone on arrival we had to carry our luggage into reception. Checked in to the room, it smelled a bit off. We checked out a day earlier and again as we left no one was there to help with our luggage.

Extremely bad service especially for a luxury hotel. Air-condition in room was hardly working, very suffocating for summer. Explained it to the night receptionist. Who immediately replied why could we bear with it on the first night. Sent a fellow service staff who stuck a temperature rod deep into the vent to show the air con was working fine. Couldn’t understand that there was no wind. On the check out day, asked the concierge on the ground floor to help book a bigger taxi in the morning as there were more people and bags. The person replied “yes, yes, yes”. Came back in late afternoon to confused looks.

The lobby is luxurious and grand, while the rooms are decent. Room service is excellent and responsive to all requests, including turn-down service and proactively replenishing bottled water. Breakfast doesn't offer a huge variety, but all the ingredients are fresh and delicious.

I've always loved the style of W Hotels, and choosing the W Osaka this time was definitely the right decision. **Facilities:** The facilities are comprehensive, truly befitting a five-star hotel. The breakfast was also delicious, and the gym, swimming pool, and other amenities were all fully equipped. **Cleanliness:** Spotless, no complaints there. **Environment:** The 'nightclub' vibe of the environment is fantastic! There are also many great places to eat nearby. I highly recommend the Blue Bottle Coffee downstairs. It's also very close to Shinsaibashi and Namba, basically within walking distance. The subway is convenient too, and Daimaru is just across the street diagonally, making shopping very easy. **Service:** Everyone was very enthusiastic, and most staff offered Chinese language service. English communication was also not an issue. I will definitely choose W Hotels in other locations in the future.

My husband and I came to Osaka, Japan, for the third leg of our honeymoon shopping trip! We booked a Fantastic Suite at the W, and the location was superb – very close to Dotonbori, making shopping and dining incredibly convenient. The hotel knew it was our honeymoon and thoughtfully prepared small desserts and a greeting card in our room beforehand. They even surprised us with a complimentary room upgrade during check-in, which was absolutely delightful. The suite itself was very spacious, boasting 180-degree corner floor-to-ceiling windows that offered stunning views, whether during the day or at night. The hotel is a striking black building, quite prominent in Osaka, and even the bathrobes were black. Our room was immaculately cleaned every day, and they also provided us with W's special facial masks. Overall, we were extremely satisfied!

Spending the weekend here, it's incredibly convenient to stay in Umeda for shopping and dining. The Autograph Collection by Marriott is a new addition, located inside the KITTE mall. The second-floor walkway connects directly to Daimaru and Hankyu, making it easy to get anywhere – you won't even need an umbrella if it rains. For two adults and one child, the price was 4000 a night. The scenic double room with a 1.5-size bed is perfect for families with kids. The room isn't small, and the slippers are thick and soft, definitely deserving full marks. The vanity comes fully stocked with toiletries, from makeup remover to facial cream. If you're not picky about brands, you literally don't need to bring anything. Breakfast was busy. You can order Eggs Benedict and omelets à la carte, with other items available for self-service. The variety is actually quite good, and everything is prepared with care. The bread selection is excellent, likely supplied by a bakery. For noodles and rice, you need to walk to the very back. There's also freshly made Mont Blanc dessert. Fruits like cantaloupe are also of very high quality. Overall, highly recommended! The KITTE building itself, where the hotel is located, is also great for browsing. The 4th to 6th floors have many restaurants and eateries without long queues, plus a market featuring local specialties from different parts of Japan, well worth a visit. On B1, there's a Family Mart and a drugstore, which is incredibly convenient.
- 300852****
The room size is a bit small compared to similar hotels, and the 'Charming View' room type has an open-plan bathroom without any privacy screens. The view is quite nice though, and despite being above a train station, there's hardly any noise. The location is excellent, with direct access to a shopping mall downstairs.

Before my trip, I was torn between the InterContinental, W Hotel, Conrad, Waldorf Astoria, and The Park Hyatt, but I ended up choosing the InterContinental, and it truly exceeded my expectations. The hotel upgraded my room, and both the view and the size were fantastic. The hotel's location is impeccable, right above Grand Front Osaka. Stepping out, you're immediately surrounded by major shopping malls like Hankyu, Daimaru, Yodobashi Camera, Lucua, and Lucua 1100, all connected by walkways. From gourmet food to shopping and trendy brands, it was incredibly convenient. Having such a spacious room in Japan is a rarity. Our upgraded room must have been nearly 100 square meters – incredibly roomy and practical, complete with an oven, induction cooktop, and a double-door refrigerator. The bathroom featured a bathtub and Byredo amenities; a soak with the hotel-provided bath salts instantly melted away the day's fatigue. The breakfast buffet offered a wide array of choices, including Japanese cold dishes, Oden, and Western desserts, all with meticulous attention to detail. From the concierge to the front desk, every staff member demonstrated professionalism. At check-out, they even proactively helped load our luggage into the car and confirmed the address with the driver in Japanese. Plus, there were many staff members who spoke Chinese. The only minor drawback was a noticeable smell of disinfectant when returning to the room each day, but it didn't detract from the overall experience at all. Whether it's for shopping, comfort, or service details, this hotel will definitely be my choice again on my next visit to Osaka!
- Yuexin Iris
Excellent stay! The room was very spacious, and the facilities and service were consistently up to InterContinental standards. The view from the window was great, offering a glimpse of the red Ferris wheel. The location is superb, right next to Osaka Station and Umeda Station, making transportation incredibly convenient. There are tons of shops and restaurants nearby, so dining, drinking, and shopping are all very easy. Plus, breakfast is free for children under six, which is a great value.

My stay at the Royal Hotel was excellent. The highlight was the complimentary shuttle bus to Osaka city, which ran every 15 minutes and made getting around incredibly convenient. The hotel's location is also great, with a 7-Eleven and restaurants right downstairs on B1 – perfect for snacks and meals. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I will definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to Osaka.

Osaka Station/Umeda/Yodoyabashi/Hommachi Osaka|0.76km from city center
The location of the hotel is pretty convenient. 5–6 minutes walk to Hommachi St., which you can easily use to travel to Kyoto, Kobe, etc.  The check-in and check-out were really fast, and we had an upgrade, which was worth the price. I had read the previous reviews about the rudeness of the staff, which is not actually due to this, but it’s the language barrier that could make a tired traveller a little less patient.  If you wish to ask something more specific, please don’t be afraid to use the Google Translate app to help you with the communication. The staff have been really helpful to all of our enquiries. Some remarks were about the hotel lobby being on the 15th floor, but they have a dedicated entrance for taxis or cars to reach the hotel.  Bonus: if you exit through KoKuMiN Osaka Metro Yodoyabashi Station (Exit 4) on your right is a local grocery store that sells local produce and other fruits/food products. It's cheaper to go here to buy your drinks and fruits, etc.

This truly lives up to its reputation as an established five-star hotel. It embodies all the qualities of a five-star establishment, with staff who are highly service-oriented and professional. The front desk staff are particularly professional and have good English skills. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped, and during my 6-night stay, the cleaning was impeccable every day. The location is excellent; the airport limousine bus goes directly here, and there's also a bus to Tennoji from right outside the hotel, running every 15 minutes for 120 yen. The subway is directly accessible from the hotel's basement, just two stops to Namba and five to Umeda. Right next door is Kintetsu Department Store, which connects to an annex featuring Muji and Uniqlo, among others. The basement supermarket offers very reasonable prices. Across the street, Hihi Town boasts a variety of authentic local restaurants. I would definitely stay here again.

Excellent location above Osaka Takashimaya, linked to Namba Station directly by lift. Getting to the hotel was abit confusing using google maps until we figured it out. Overall their location makes for ease of shopping & convenient offload the bags in the hotel room. The check in desk was very professional & the bath tub was European size (we booked twin beds). Of the 3 hotels that we booked in Osaka (&Here Namba, Universal Port Vita, Swissotel), Swissotel was the only hotel that could read & execute our consistent requests to push the twin beds together so our toddler could sleep in the middle. Thumbs up for their professionalism. There was also a pair of kid slippers laid out for our kid. There is a friendly hotel bar (free entry, subject to opening hours in afternoon) on level 9 that allows one to play retro video games like Mario & board games etc. Our kid throughly enjoyed their hotel bar games. As Swissôtel is a business hotel, there is no water pitcher in the room & no ice dispenser room. The toilet is a combined one-room facility. However, the rooms are quiet, the water pressure is great & everyone slept really well. Thanks Swissotel

Seeing comments about La Mer toiletries immediately made me book this hotel. The location is unbeatable, super convenient. It's right opposite Shinsaibashi Daimaru, and directly connected to the subway and a shopping mall underground. The hotel service was excellent; we got a free upgrade to a 3-bed room. The hotel lobby is quite elegant, but the room itself needs a bit of a critique. With three beds, it's definitely a bit cramped, although the sleeping area was spacious. The curtains were showing their age (see photo), but since we were on a high floor, the view was good. The bathroom felt a bit old, and there was an occasional sewage smell from the drain.

The triple room was a bit cramped; there wasn't enough space to fully open our suitcases. The room rate was very reasonable on weekdays, but it doubled on weekends, making the value for money just average. The hotel is quite close to the subway station, which makes getting around very convenient. There are also 7-11 and Lawson convenience stores nearby. What was a bit odd is that on our first day, we received complimentary coffee and weren't charged a city accommodation tax. However, after returning from Universal Studios, on our third day, there was no coffee provided, and we were charged the city accommodation tax. Both nights were booked through Ctrip, so I'm unsure why there was a difference.

The hotel's location is decent, quite close to the subway station. However, be aware that the subway line going towards Umeda leads to Nishi-Umeda, which is still quite a distance from Umeda Station itself. The room was small, and the bathroom was tiny. The main issue was that the toilet faced a wall, and due to the close proximity, it was very awkward after using the facilities. They don't provide any complimentary water bottles in the room, so remember to buy your own. Also, families traveling with children should pay close attention to the age policy. If your child is over 6 years old, they won't be considered a child; they'll be charged as an adult, which adds a significant amount to the cost.

Fantastic location, about 3 mins walk to a train station, surrounded by restaurants, convenience stores, small supermarkets and pharmacies. The front entrance is small but very peaceful and beautiful. The lights in the trees make it easy to recognise at night. Reception is very professional and will try their best to answer any questions you might have, but it's better if you can speak some Japanese. Very close to the shopping street but not loud from outside noise. There was a construction happening on the other side of the same street but the windows seem to have pretty good sound insulation (could still hear some but not too loud if you're a deep sleeper). I loved the window design where they have a screen door covering the window so you can open the blinds to let natural light in while still maintaining your privacy with the screen door. Another feature I loved is the warm light between the window blinds and screen door - if you close the blinds and only turn on the window light, and close the screen door, it creates a very calm and relaxing atmosphere to get ready for bed. Towels and bedsheets can be changed upon request with a sign but cleaners may knock on your door any time in the morning despite the signs indicating that cleaning will be completed as long as you request it before 1pm. The walls seem to be a bit thin as you can hear the cleaner vacuuming and opening doors in the rooms nearby in the morning. There are multiple facilities across different floors and I did not encounter any issue of crowding at these facilities. I really appreciated the lounge space they have from 3-9pm where they include drinks, snacks, and a hotel diary for guests to write in. There are also many seats and tables here for guests to eat or work at. I did not purchase their breakfast buffet so no comment on that.

Hotel Granvia is in a superb location, just a few minutes’ walk to Osaka Station and Umeda Station. It takes only about 15 minutes to reach USJ and under 20 minutes to get to Namba, which makes getting around very convenient. The room I booked was a little too small, and I regretted not choosing a bigger room as there wasn’t enough space to open my luggage comfortably. This was my own oversight when booking. The room also did not have a heater, so on colder nights I had to turn off the air-conditioning. That said, the view from the room was awesome. My advice would be to book a larger room to enjoy the stay more fully. Overall, there are no complaints about the location.

The room is decent size for two people, though 2 open luggages can only be done halfway open, but sti ok. There’s free hot & cold drinks at the lounge area which is open from 5am to 12mn. The buffet breakfast is nice, mostly local Japanese foods (which we like), i can say that the cereal can be considered western. 😁 There’s a family mart just 2-5mins walk. I have a great stay at Citadines. Was not expecting a lot as i merely booked it as the one day tour company request to stay in hotel near Namba. It definitely exceeded my expectations in many ways. Location is around 200m to Kuromon market where you can find plenty of goodies and food. It also connects to the popular Dotonburi where you will go crazy finding outlets like Onitsuka Tiger & Popmart as well as popular eateries like Ichiran ramen! Good to book a premier room that comes with a kitchen. It does daily housekeeping with lounges & a launderette. Very happy to stay there! Highly recommended!

Osaka Station/Umeda/Yodoyabashi/Hommachi Osaka|0.49km from city center
Located around 5-10 minutes walk from Yodoyabashi Station, somewhat in the middle of the business district stands the Hotel Resol Trinity Osaka. Yodoyabashi station is a pretty convenient location, as it was minutes away from Osaka-Umeda Station as well as Shinsaibashi and Osaka-Namba station, which were all on the same line which made travelling around a breeze. The ambience and feel of the hotel was very inviting and comfortable. We had booked the Hollywood Twin Room, and it was quite small, but I would rather describe it as cozy, though my only grouse was that the beds were too close to each other, and the lack of space for 2 huge luggages. I do love that although a bit on the small side, they still managed to fit in a nice Japanese bath to soak away the fatigue. Besides that, there was nothing much to complain about, as the beds were comfortable and not overly hard, and the staff were pretty warm, friendly, professional and efficient. The highlight was definitely the breakfast, which had a nice variety and were pretty delicious. Overall, a fantastic choice and a definite contender when we next go back to Osaka.

Osaka Bay Osaka|7.3km from city center
The hotel is conveniently located right outside Sakurajima Station. The environment is nice, and the two main highlights are the hot springs and the breakfast. I soaked in the hot springs for four days straight, it was incredibly relaxing! The breakfast quality is excellent. We were traveling with my elderly mother, so we bought breakfast for her. She could sleep in, then enjoy a good meal before heading out to explore, which really helped her stay energized! Walking to Universal Studios isn't too far either, about a 15-minute walk, which is perfectly acceptable.

This hotel is the best location, just besides the Shin-imamiya station, I can walk from the West exit gate to the Hotel within 2 minutes. The room is clean and good, the toilet is also very clean. The hotel staff are also good manner and well supportive.
