We had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was nice and very clean, which we truly appreciated. Everything was well-maintained and comfortable. However, the room felt a bit too small for couples, and there is no tables,. especially if you’re staying for more than a night or have luggage with you.

This is my 5th and I love staying here as always. The hotel is clean and smells good. This hotel is situated nearby park for a quick stroll, restaurants once you get hungry and grocery shops where you can buy your immediate needs. I would say the accommodation is a bit pricey but there are days where you can book this at a very affordable price.Plus the staff are very accommodating and friendly for any urgent needs. Overall I am very satisfied with my stay here and would love to book again here.

My stay at Valero Grand Suites was great, it has everything you need to make yourself feel home. I requested pan to cook breakfast and it was delivered immediately. But you can also get breakfast buffet at the hotel - if wished. The pool is on the 34th floor and the gym operates 24h. Staff were nice and friendly, location is very nice and easy to walk to greenbelt, ayala triangle park etc.

Our Airbnb room is located at the 25th floor of a high rise condominium in Makati, making it quite and peaceful, away from the noise from the outside.
It has a partial view of Makati Skyline and the amenity area.

You can use the pool area located at the 7th floor with a fee. 150 php on a regular day and 300php during holidays.
You can also use other amenities on the 7th and 8th floor such as, study room, relaxing area with fast WIFI.

Pool is close every Monday for maintenance/cleaning.

This is a classic hotel, well located, full service (though a little slow at times) and it was very busy when we were there at Chinese New Year. The staff are friendly and helpful. This room was small but comfortable. Breakfast is fabulous but be careful of the queues (as well as when checking in and out). The gym is well stocked and the pool area is pleasant although the pool is a little small. The food is good all round. It is conveniently located next to the giant malls of Makati where there is plenty to eat and shop! I enjoyed our stay and would stay again. The lobby is lovely.SOLD OUT

The Peninsula Manila, a hotel with over 50 years of history, boasts an excellent location in the heart of Makati, just a 20-minute drive from the airport. It's surrounded by numerous shopping malls, making dining and shopping incredibly convenient. The hotel lobby is grand and currently has a strong Christmas atmosphere. Both the rooms and bathrooms are spacious, though the facilities are a bit dated, they are still clean and tidy. The staff are all very warm and polite; they readily approved my request for a late check-out. The breakfast offers a wide variety of choices and tastes great. For a 5 star hotel, the service is very annoying. They would call me randomly to ask for feedback a few hours after I checked in. They would knock on my door early in the morning while I'm still sleeping to do a ”room check”... On the day of my check out, I had a knock on the door a bit past 9am, I ignored it as I was still in bed but they kept ringing the bell. I finally got up and the lady asked ”is there anything I can help with?”. Yes leave me alone. I went back to bed to rest and then got a phone call soon after as a reminder that check out is at 12pm. It's not even 10am yet and your staff already interrupted my sleep twice. Trying to get the room clean involves multiple phone calls. Once I left it to see how long it would take but at 6pm, I had to call since they never came during the day. Another time they cleaned, the cleaners said they ran out of towels so there would be someone who would deliver soon. I forgot about it until we went to have a shower and then it took almost an hour for the towels to arrive so we had to wait to use the bathroom as they took away the dirty towels so we didn't have anything to dry ourselves. Don't order room service. The food is very bad. I actually gagged on a drink they prepared. The TV is very old, they are still using cable technology. WiFi is patchy. Trying to get up and down the lift is a nightmare if you come at the wrong time as the line gets backed up all the way out into the street. My girlfriend was stopped by over eager security staff when she was trying to leave to buy some snacks as the room service meals were so bad even tho she had a room key and they would not let her up to the lobby on the 6th floor without me. Instead, I had to go down and pick her up from the ground floor where she was sitting in the corner like she was in trouble.SOLD OUT

You have to wait long to go up and down. Long queue during peak hours. Also it stops at all floors even if it’s full already. I booked a quick overnight stay (less than 12 hours) at Red Planet Makati Avenue and for a solo traveler on a budget, it's a solid choice.
The Good:
· Staff & Security: Top marks here. The front desk was welcoming and the check-in process was impressively quick and efficient. The security guards were absolute gems—very proactive in helping lift luggage in and out of taxis without even being asked.
· Location: You cannot beat this location. It’s absolutely central Makati, putting you steps away from the best restaurants, shopping malls, and massage spots.
The Not-So-Good:
· Hallway Odor: The main drawback was the smell in the hallway leading to the room. It had a distinct, stale sweat odor that seemed to be coming from the carpet. I didn't have the energy to report it at midnight, but it’s very noticeable the moment you step off the elevator.
· Amenities: This is a no-frills hotel (which I knew), but just a heads-up: toiletries are extremely limited. There was no toothbrush or disposable slippers provided, so bring your own essentials.
Verdict:
Overall, 8/10. If you're a solo traveler or a cheapskate looking for a short stay with incredible value for money in the heart of Makati, Red Planet is a must-try. Just hold your breath in the hallway and bring your own toothbrush.SOLD OUT

I had a fantastic stay at Coro Hotel. The rooms are spacious, modern, and very clean-the colorful, artsy vibe really sets it apart from typical corporate hotels. The staff were incredibly attentive and welcoming from check-in to check-out. I especially loved the rooftop pool area; it's a great spot to relax with a view of the city.
