This hotel is beyond expectation, I love it! First of all, the location is good, it is very convenient to go to Queen Street, and if you like walking, it is not far to South Bank Park. Secondly, the style is very old, but the facilities are very complete. Although the reservation does not include breakfast, there are coffee, snacks and fruits available for free at the reception on the first floor all day. We booked a Valentine's Day dinner, the dishes were very exquisite and delicious, and the service was very thoughtful. In short, a great hotel 👍!

Huge shout out to Eden for being so welcoming despite my late check-in at 11pm! She was super nice and as a first timer in Brisbane recommended me some cool areas to visit given my limited time to spend in the city. Only issue I had is the double facing mirrors in the bathroom, I mean it definitely doesn’t suit everyone’s taste. I originally booked the hotel for the old rustic vibe and it definitely matched my expectations! Oh and the lift in the middle of the hotel is definitely one worth the experience and stay itself.

The soundproofing is absolutely terrible. You can hear every word people say outside the door, and the constant slamming of doors from neighboring rooms is incredibly disruptive. Out of all the cities I've visited in Australia, this hotel was by far the worst!

Staying here during a move with a lot of luggage. The staff were really welcoming and helpful, but the check-out time was inflexible and a bit rigid.

Decided to have a 5 stars hotel back from Gold Coast. Knowingly that Brisbane is with steep streets but not prepared with my recent TKR, it is really challenging to ”steep” up to the hotel with luggage and pulling myself up and down twice in a day. Other than that, all good. Perhaps can have some more information on the hotel profile, especially for middle-age couples (above 55).
- Life is but Purple
The hotel is quite new and boasts a convenient location, just a 10-minute walk from the city center's pedestrian street. Parking comes with an additional charge. The ground-floor restaurant, Twodonkey, offers a pleasant atmosphere, and Chinese-speaking staff are available at the front desk. It's also only a 12-minute walk to the trendy Fika bakery/breakfast spot.

The hotel locates in the heart of the city, and easily accessible to everywhere. However, beware if you are driving in, as the layout of their car park is weird and you have to be extra mindful when doing the parking.

location is a little bit out of the busy district, walk able but very quiet at night time. The hotel service and cleanliness itself was great.

The location is a major plus, very close to Central Station (within walking distance) and not far from the long-distance bus terminal (a $7-8 Didi ride). It's also quite convenient for shopping in the city. The service was decent. There was a Chinese-speaking front desk staff during the day, though I'm not sure if they spoke Mandarin as we communicated entirely in English. In the evenings, the front desk was staffed by Indian colleagues, who were also good, just spoke a bit fast. Their attitude was very friendly. Breakfast was a buffet, and the offerings varied slightly each day. Items were replenished fairly quickly, though the staff were quite busy, making communication not always easy. Overall, it offers good value for money. Toothbrushes and slippers were not provided, but toiletries were. For charging, only USB and Australian plugs were available. Guests come from all over the world, with a good number from Taiwan and Korea. Hope this review helps!

This was a popular choice for a one-night stopover between Brisbane and the Gold Coast. Breakfast was included with the booking and was decent. While the rooms aren't huge, parking is available. My street-facing room was surprisingly quiet. Being able to request a late check-out at the front desk was a very accommodating and customer-friendly policy.

The room rate is cheap. I booked a cheaper hotel because I had to get up early to catch the flight. The only drawback was that I was given a disabled room on the lower floor. I had to get up early the next day so I didn't ask for a room change. The floor was high and I could smell the fumes from the restaurant downstairs. I recommend booking a room on a higher floor.

I was lucky to choose this hotel in Brisbane during the Christmas holiday. The suite has two large beds, a kitchen with a dishwasher, two sinks in the bathroom, separate wet and dry areas, and a beautiful swimming pool. The location is also good. There is a bus but the train requires more than ten minutes of walking up and down the hill, which is quite tiring.

The place was clean, and has most of the things you need. Location was very slightly inconvenient as it is some walking distance from where the shops are. Nevertheless it is still quite ok, especially with the price paid - value for money. Would still consider this hotel for my next visit.

Overall pleasant experience. Quiet and private. Clean rooms. Would recommend couple of hooks in the bathroom to hang clothes. Also provide a toilet brush to clean skid marks🙂.

Check-in was smooth, but I requested a quiet room as I needed rest for a test, and was given a room right in front of the elevator. It was very noisy all night and I couldn’t sleep. The room also had a connecting door to the next room, which could not be opened from my side but made me feel unsafe, as I was unsure if it could be opened from the other side. Overall, not a comfortable stay.

The apartelle's pin on the google map is across the street. Drivers always park across the street. The property is located about 20 mins away from the city center. There's a restaurant on the ground floor that offers breakfast, lunch & dinner. The apartelle provides toiletries & coffee. Towels & other toiletries are available for self service refill at the lobby area.

Stayed here for 2 nights. Reception staff were friendly, helpful, and professional. The room was clean and tidy. The food at G floor was delicious and reasonably priced (had the lunch deal). Overall, it was a very pleasant stay. The downsides are that, 1) the hotel is situated on top of a hill and getting there on foot with luggage wasn't great (budget traveller). I definitely would recommend uber-ing there despite its prime location to the city central, especially if you've got heavy or lots of luggage. 2) the walls are relatively thin and in the wee hours of the morning, I heard people running around the hallway and talking loudly which woke me up from my sleep (and I'm not a light sleeper). On another separate occasion, I also overheard a conversation from the next-door occupant, who was speaking loudly over the phone for over an hour. A little annoyed by the noise but otherwise everything else was a good experience!

The room was next to the garbage station, which caused the smell of the garbage to smell in the living room. It felt very bad. The door lock is a bit difficult to open, the room lighting is a bit dark, the lights sometimes flash, the small room is not air-conditioned, a bit stuffy. Overall, it is OK, but I don't think about staying again.
