I am very satisfied with the motel I can stay in in Sengokuhara. It is a double bed room as usual. Although the room facilities are not many, they are simple and practical. The hygiene is as satisfactory as always. I will stay there next time👍

We got a room at the same floor as the entrance, which is very convenient as we don’t need to carry our luggages down the staircase. We also enjoyed the onsen. The room is very traditional, is something different from the modern hotel. Yukata was provided also. Recommended to stay there.

The room was very unclean and far from the nearest station. At this price (600) the price is low and not recommended.

Check-in is self-check-in. An email with the room number and password will be sent on the day of check-in. This was not made clear in advance in the introduction. It took me a while to find the check-in method. But I happened to meet the boss on the day. I came early and she told me that I should check in at four o'clock. But maybe the weather was bad that day and I took a lot of things by myself. She helped me check the hygiene and let me check in. I felt very lucky because I did feel a little uncomfortable that day. The hotel room is tatami-style. I think the sofa room is quite spacious for me. It is more spacious than the hotel I stayed in Tokyo. The toilet and bathroom are completely separated. I think the design is good. Overall, it is quite comfortable to stay. Of course, the appearance of this hotel is a two-story building, which is more like a homestay rather than a traditional hotel.

We arrived at Lake Ashi in the afternoon when it was stormy. The hotel is close to the lake. But it was hard to find the hotel due to the weather on the day of check-in... We checked in by ourselves with the code. The room was quite warm and comfortable, with complete facilities and all toiletries were DHC brand. There are several restaurants around the hotel, but they are basically open until the afternoon and then closed, so it is not very convenient to eat, especially dinner. There are Lawson and 711 convenience stores around.

View: The room offers a fantastic view, the lake-view room on the 19th floor provides a spacious and comfortable panorama. Parking: Free! Just navigate to the hotel and drive into the large parking lot you'll see (we circled three times, but the signs are actually very clear). After getting your parking ticket, check in and register it at the front desk. You can then enter and exit as many times as you like, free of charge, which is very convenient. Completely free. Facilities: Surprisingly dated. Booking this for over 2000 yen during New Year's, it felt like a Japanese budget hotel. Seriously needs an upgrade; it might deter families. Choosing a Japanese-style room would be much better. Food: Breakfast was great. For other meals, we had to make reservations due to New Year's, so we ended up eating instant noodles (there are many convenience stores nearby). Activities: During New Year's, there were traditional cultural activities in the lobby, which was a nice experience.

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel and would happily recommend it. The location is convenient, making it easy to get around and access nearby amenities. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, with thoughtful details that made the stay relaxing. The staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help, which really made a difference. Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient. I also appreciated the quiet atmosphere, which allowed for a good night’s rest. Overall, this hotel offers great value for money and a comfortable experience. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit.

The room was quite spacious; we had no problem opening two 28-inch suitcases. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area. The hotel is right above a subway station, just two stops from Yokohama Station, and a taxi ride costs about 1000-ish JPY. Right next to the hotel, the Mark Is shopping mall has a good selection of outdoor brands like Arc'teryx, Descente, Salomon, Oakley, Montbell, etc., plus a supermarket where you can grab lots of tasty snacks. It's also a short walk to the Red Brick Warehouse. Overall, it's great value for money if you're staying in Yokohama.

This is an older hotel. The first room I was given didn't have a great view, but after communicating in Japanese, they kindly moved me to one with a better orientation, which was nice. The breakfast was just so-so; there weren't many people eating, probably because it's not great value for money. The hotel's location is excellent, surrounded by shopping malls. As an older hotel, I really liked the carpet and decor connecting the first and second floors; it has a lot of character!

This hotel is so beautiful, a combination of modern and modern. The breakfast view is as beautiful as a painting. Entering from another door is a historical site. It is a hotel where MacArthur and Chaplin once stayed. It is full of historical sense and very photogenic. I hope to stay a few more days next time.

The room was spacious and the access to the airport was super convenient. The on-site hot spring is paid, but hotel guests get a discount (700 yen), and you can even use it again the next morning, which was a nice surprise. At first, there was a slight smell in the room, but considering the cleaning, price, and overall value, it’s still a solid choice. There’s nothing much within walking distance around the hotel, though. The best part was definitely the hot spring — soaking outdoors under the stars felt incredibly relaxing.

Spacious room. Very near to train station. Take a right turn after exit from train station, take another right turn at family mart, walk about 100m, you will see the hotel on your slight right. The washing machine at level 2 is a plus. ^^ highly recommended. Take a slow jog in the morning and you can explore the surrounding.

The hotel is located to the west of the stadium, just绕 the stadium from the east side, and it's right by the Kannai subway station. It's actually a historic building, a really beautiful white house. There's a Lawson convenience store downstairs and a Sukiya restaurant next door. The twin room is much larger, and it even comes with a curling iron! I highly recommend staying here if you're visiting Chinatown.

The room was spacious enough for two 24-inch suitcases to open comfortably. On clear mornings, you could even see Mount Fuji from the window, which was a nice bonus! It's super convenient for exploring the surrounding areas from Yokohama – easy access to Tokyo, Haneda Airport, Hakone, and Kamakura. Perfect for an extended stay if you're doing day trips. There's a supermarket downstairs that's open until 11 PM with great prices; a box of Haagen-Dazs was only ten yuan, so I ended up eating it every night! The only minor inconvenience was getting water in the room; you had to go to the hallway to refill, which I guess might be due to Kanagawa's environmental policies, as Tokyo doesn't seem to have this setup.

Coming from Tokyo, getting to this hotel from Shin-Yokohama Station is super easy. Don't go out the North Exit; just turn right and walk straight ahead for about 5 minutes until you reach the PRINCESS PEPE shopping mall. Follow the signs from there, and you'll be right at the hotel entrance. They offer free luggage storage, which is a great perk. The front desk staff's English was very good, and the service overall was excellent. Parking is available for 1000 JPY per night. The room size was comfortable, though there was no complimentary bottled water. However, there's a 7-Eleven right next to the elevator, which is convenient. The breakfast spread was extensive and available until 10 AM. Check-in at 3 PM and check-out at 11 AM felt very accommodating, especially after all the walking we did daily. The adjacent shopping mall is quite local, featuring stores like Albion (where you can buy their 'E-Powder' – though it's one per person), Muji, and Seijo Ishii supermarket. It was really fun to browse around. We also had a great meal at a teppanyaki restaurant there; it was delicious, albeit a bit pricey. Overall, it was a very good experience.

The hotel boasts extremely convenient transportation, just a 10-minute walk from the subway station. It's perfectly situated in Yokohama Chinatown, offering abundant dining options with plenty of Chinese restaurants. As an established 5-star hotel, the staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, and the facilities are equally upscale and impressive. They even offer services in Chinese. Plus, it's only a 5-minute stroll to the seaside and Yamashita Park. I would absolutely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Yokohama. I stayed for seven nights, and overall it was quite good. For first-timers to Yokohama, especially to this hotel, I highly recommend taking the Minatomirai Line from Yokohama Station to Bashamichi Station, and then exiting from Exit 3 (Museum Exit). If you take the JR to Sakuragicho, it's very easy to get confused by the routes and get lost (though it depends on your arrival time; it's a bit better during the day). Housekeeping and cleaning are basically done every four days, but fresh bath towels are delivered to your door daily. The hotel's location is excellent, making it convenient to go anywhere. On the first floor, there are self-service amenities you can pick up, like toner, face cream, toothpaste, toothbrushes, and bath salts.

① The service was excellent! On our first day, we lost our Suica card and couldn't retrieve our luggage from the JR station locker. We asked the front desk staff for help, and they made three calls, but couldn't get through. It was after 5 PM on a Sunday, so we thought the locker staff might be off duty or gone for the day. We were resigned to dealing with it the next morning, but shortly after we got to our room, the front desk called back – they had reached the staff and we could pick up our luggage that same day! We were incredibly surprised and grateful! ② Breakfast is on the ninth floor with a great view. The variety isn't huge, but it's delicious. We ate there for five days, and they changed up the dishes slightly each day. Eating at the hotel is convenient and the food is good, though for night owls, it means you can't sleep in; you have to get up by 9-ish for breakfast. ③ The room environment was clean and tidy, not too big and not too small. Pajamas were provided on the bed, and the air purifier worked well. The TV had a platform for watching Chinese TV shows. The only minor drawbacks were that the space between the TV and the bed was a bit narrow, and the curtains weren't very blackout, so we sometimes woke up at 8 or 9 AM. For environmental reasons, there's no bottled water in the room, but there are cups you can use to get water from the dispenser by the elevator. I didn't use it, as it seemed a bit inconvenient; buying a large bottle of water at the 7-Eleven downstairs wasn't expensive anyway. The toothpaste comes in small single-use tabs, good for one or two applications. If the room isn't serviced, and no one replaces them, you need to pick up more from a small drawer opposite the front desk. This area also had Yokohama maps available. The air conditioning only provided cool air. The days I was there, temperatures were in the teens (Celsius), and one day it was only 8 degrees, but the room felt fine. I'm not sure if it would be cold in winter. ④ It's about a 15-minute walk to Yokohama Station. By the third or fourth day, we were pretty familiar with the route, and you can take shortcuts just like in domestic subway stations. From the hotel, walk straight ahead to the overpass, take the escalator down from Sogo, and you'll reach Yokohama Station. However, for your first time, I'd recommend following walking directions on the surface streets (I did this when checking in from Yokohama Station, using Google Maps) to avoid getting lost. The hotel is also a short walk to the seaside and the Red Brick Warehouse. Getting around feels quite convenient. Overall, I booked this hotel for about 700 JPY per night (including breakfast), and personally, I think it offers good value for money and is a worthwhile choice.
