The room was quite clean, and the facilities were similar to those of the old domestic express hotel chains. There were only bath towels in the room, no towels, no shampoo or shower gel, only small soap. Lahad Datu is not a big city, more than 100 meters away from the beach and 1.3 kilometers away from the long-distance bus station. There are many restaurants around.

As a business traveler, I was looking for a budget-friendly place to stay, and this property met my expectations. The location is excellent, with a supermarket conveniently situated right next to the hotel and plenty of food options within a 5-minute walk. The bed was comfortable, and the surrounding area is quiet, making it easy to get a good night’s rest. It's an old hotel but the rooms are spacious and everything in the room works well. The bathroom may look a bit icky to some. For me, I didn't like the odor of my pillows. But generally, cleanliness is ok.
Our room was next to the emergency Staircase and a guest used that as his smoking area - which made our room stink.
