The best hotel in Cork, but unfortunately it is a bit far from the city center, more than 3 kilometers to the train station, and it is not very convenient to take the bus. The room area is not very large, and the room facilities are quite complete. The hotel service is very good, and it can respond quickly. When checking out, they also extended the room. The hotel breakfast is in the form of ordering and buffet, but the variety of buffet is very limited, but the taste of the order is very good.
- Duwanjuanshu;xingwanlilu
The breakfast is great, with a buffet and a la carte meals, which is up to the service level of a five-star hotel. The park environment is also very beautiful, and you can park for free, but the interior furnishings are a bit old.

Because we have two children, we were upgraded to a deluxe suite with two single beds for an additional 35 euros. It was so cute. The hotel is huge and the environment is super beautiful. Children can also rent bicycles for free and watch ponies. Apart from the relatively remote location, there are no disadvantages and it’s very cost-effective!

Great location to visit the wildlife park but it’s not walkable. Room was lovely. It had everything we needed. Peaceful nights sleep too. You have to pre book the leisure club and children are only allowed at certain times meaning we missed out in the morning as my 13yr old wasn’t allowed in until 9am but we had to leave then. Breakfast: Choice of food was amazing. Absolutely everything on offer. We were a bit rushed because we had the titanic experience booked so had to be punctual. We had to chase up the toast 3 times. It was the only thing my son would eat so couldn’t let it slide. Then it arrived stone cold so they apologised and redid it for him. Overall it was a lovely hotel and included some nice touches like Lily O”Brien chocolates in the room, a coffee maker and free bottle of wine for Deluxe rooms. Turn down service was a welcome surprise too.

We had such a lovely stay. The staff there were so friendly and made a real effort to make it special for my mother's birthday especially the receptonist and June who served us our breakfast..

The number one hotel in Cork, with an excellent location, the river lee is right under the window, and the breakfast is excellent. It is a 5-minute walk to the National University of Ireland Cork and an 8-minute walk to the British Market.
- Guest User
The hotel manager was very rude and the service was poor. The environment is good, but there is absolutely no need to spend such a price and be treated rudely. Not to mention there are more affordable hotels nearby.

I got a room with a window facing the in-door atrium, which meant not having a window with daylight. For the price I paid, I would expect to have a room with a window with daylight. Spa was not clean and I didn't enjoy it at all. Breakfast was not good either. I won't stay with Clayton again.

Five minutes from the railway station. Very modern and well maintained. A short walk from the City Center. The fitness center/spa/pool/ sauna is excellent.

Nice historical hotel on one of the main streets. The room was too small, the floor uneven. Basic amenities : drinking water, ironing board. No fridge, no water kettle. Completely overpriced, not at expected standards. Not recommended.

The room is super big, and the kitchen is equipped with everything (pots and pans). The hotel room is very new and the location is very convenient. It is just by the river. The opposite bank of the river is the city center. It takes less than ten minutes to walk.
- Huifeigazhuzi
Very satisfied, the room has a simple kitchen, refrigerator, stove and simple tableware. Hotel location in the city center, walking can basically reach most of the attractions

Adorned with wisteria, Ballymaloe House Hotel sits within 300 acres of the unspoilt Irish countryside. Only 4km from the iconic Ballymaloe Cookery School makes it the perfect getaway for fine dining fanatics, lovers of vast open spaces and those looking to step away from cosmopolitan city life. The unrivalled location sets the scene for tranquillity which washes over every space. Calming tones lead you to your bedroom, each overspilling with unique elegant character. Look out across rolling hills, mature woodlands or Ballymaloe pond. From a superior garden room take in the view from your private terrace. At mealtimes, visit the renowned restaurant, heralded as the birthplace of modern Irish cuisine. Each day, food inspired by the seasonal produce makes its way from the farm to your fork. Between meals, take a dip in the pool, borrow the hotel bicycles, or challenge your family to a game of croquet. Afterwards, browse designer Irish gifts at the shop, pick up an indulgent homemade cake at the cafe or take a trip down to the wine cellar and taste sommelier selected tipples. A short journey away is Cork city, where you can learn a little history, and tour the City Gaol or Elizabeth fort before visiting the English Market for some more local food and drink. Closer to home, the Midleton Distillery Experience offers a comprehensive tour and tasting at the home of Jameson Whiskey. Ballymaloe House Hotel is a Small Luxury Hotels of the World property.

Good stay, but the bathroom needs improvement. The hotel is strategically located by the river and close to the bus station, making it very convenient for exploring the city. The room was spacious and comfortable, equipped with a kettle and a selection of herbal teas, teas, and coffee. However, the bathroom is definitely in need of an update: the sink is very small, the bath/shower mixer isn't working properly, and it's impossible to take a shower without getting your head completely wet. Overall, though, the stay was pleasant, and I would happily return; I'd also recommend it to friends looking for comfortable and centrally located accommodation.

It was a wonderful Victorian-style hotel. The hotel was remodeled from a former hospital building, and it has luxurious spaces. The rooms were clean and spacious, of course. The bathrooms were also of a high standard. It was impressive that they eliminated the bathtub to save water consumption in order to maintain the sustainability that the hotel aims for. I hope it will continue to develop as a good accommodation.

It takes only 10 minutes to walk from Cork train station with a suitcase. It's basically a straight line. It's all flat. It's very close to the river. The city center shopping center is across the river. It's very convenient. I didn't order breakfast, so I don't know how the hotel breakfast is. The room is spacious and clean with large activity space. The furniture and facilities are good, and the mattress is comfortable to sleep. The beautiful lady at the front desk is very friendly and greeted us in Chinese. The only bad thing is that the room we stayed in was on the second floor facing the street. The bar downstairs was too noisy until late, and light sleepers would be affected. Everything else was perfect.
