Downstairs is the reason for the bar street, a bit noisy. There is no air conditioning in the apartment, closing the window will reduce the noise, but it will suffocate. The apartment is a bit far from the front desk where the keys are taken, and it is about 15 minutes. The apartment is located in a pedestrian street with a lot of small stone bricks on the road and the suitcase is a little hard to pull. There are many supermarkets and restaurants nearby, so it is very convenient whether you want to cook or go out to eat. The kitchen is fully equipped, there is no rag, so in order to keep the kitchen clean, I have consumed a lot of paper towels.

The apartment is located right next to the River Liffey and it is convenient to go anywhere. In order to experience local life, we choose to buy and cook. The apartment’s kitchen utensils are full, cooking is convenient, and the supermarkets around the apartment can buy ingredients. Eat very well! Beef and mutton are cheap and fresh, especially milk, cheaper than water, especially good! It is a pity that I forgot to take pictures when I first entered the apartment door. After that, I didn’t take pictures any more. We are four people, two bedrooms, two living room sofa beds, one room and one room is slightly crowded, but it is okay. Very good stay experience. If you are willing to cook for yourself, you can choose an apartment.

The Merrion is a Hallmark of service and sheer quality. We arrived to be greeted by a friendly concierge and the news that our room had been upgraded to a junior suite.
Lunch in the Cellar bar was an absolute joy and friendly, well clued in staff made the experience more special.
The room was fabulous, with every comfort you could imagine. The bed was so comfortable, as were the couches.I cannot speak too highly about the service at this wonderful hotel.

This hotel is the best hotel in Dublin. It is said that the Prime Minister also stayed in this hotel when he visited Ireland. The environment of the hotel is very good, and the lobby is decorated in a grand manner. The bedding in the room is very comfortable, and the bathroom is not big but very convenient, comfortable and clean. The lighting is not very glaring, and the hair dryer is not in the bathroom. There is a mirror in front of the desk in the room, so you can sit in front of the desk and blow your hair in front of the mirror, which is quite user-friendly. It was a great stay overall. The location was perfect. It was near the center of Dublin. But was set in a quiet neighborhood just outside it. It is a doable walk to a park set along the water. I loved the Medieval Theme. The staff was friendly. The rooms were spacious and clean. The dual shower heads are a nice setup. .Request a view of the front of the hotel. The Harding Hotel was perfect for our family needs. The rooms have everything that you need. It was clean and comfortable. With both a bar and bistro attached to the hotel everything is at hand. It is a short walk to Temple Bar where all means of bars and eateries can be found. It is also only a short walk if you wish to visit the Guinness factory too. Such a gem of a place! Great location, very close and walkable to points of attraction yet not too close that you can still get a quiet night’s rest. It was also close to the car rental location making it a great place to start the trip.
Arrived Dublin airport early in the morning after a 16hour flight, we initially thought of just dropping the luggage and just roam around while waiting to check in.
Was so tired so we tried our luck and called ahead and asked if we could do an early check in, so we could at least freshen up. Lo and behold, they made it happen as the room was ready for us when we reached the hotel.
Truly thankful! The simple gesture allowed us to enjoy more of Dublin in the time we had.

I’ve never been one to write reviews however this hotel is a must if you’re visiting Dublin! Prime location as it’s on the main strip in the temple bar area, brilliant pubs, eateries and shops nearby.
We were warmly greeted by a lovely man on the security desk who directed us downstairs to check in, room was ready before check in time so always ring or pop in even if you’re early to see if your room is ready. Reception staff were polite and very helpful offering maps of the local area, recommending a restaurant, offering to book taxis, etc.
Our room was a twin, plenty of room for 2 adults with added comforts of a fan and mini fridge. The en-suite was clean and modern, the shower was amazing especially with the included toiletries (shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and moisturiser) which smell lovely. We did request a south facing room and it was not noisy at all.
We had breakfast from the la carte menu, freshly cooked, tasted lovely with generous portions.
On check out we stored our luggage as our flight was late evening, once again offering to book us a taxi for the airport, very helpful!FromHK$910

Upon arrival the front desk staff were not very cheerful.
The staff working the night shift (Gaston) was brilliant and very helpful.
I was originally put into a very damp and smelly room but Gaston moved me to a healthier, dry room.
The breakfast bread had spots of mould on it.
I feel that some care needs to be taken to improve this hostel.Breakfast

Pros: The front desk staff were patient and welcoming, and the room was cleaned promptly. The room clearly looked newly renovated, bright and tidy. It's not far from the airport shuttle stop, just a 3-4 minute walk.
Cons: Although the hotel's location is convenient, the area it's in is quite messy and there are a lot of homeless people. While they didn't act aggressively, having to walk past them every time I returned to the hotel wasn't a pleasant experience. I have stayed at 4 or 5 hotels in my various trips to Ireland. I even stayed at a 5 star resort the last time I traveled here and I will say hands down the room at the Alex was by far the nicest room I have stayed in. It's not directly in the town center but it's just a 10 min walk away and one I didn't mind based on the quality of the room. My only wish was that it had a pool. There is a work out facility across the street that I never checked out so one might have been there. If I ever go back to Dublin I would definitely stay here again. They have a couple of restaurants near by both places were excellent one served the best fish in chips that I have ever had the other had a great Guinness beef pie.FromHK$2,353

The Bonnington is usually my go to hotel in dublin, however the stay before this and now this stay has made me look for somewhere else in future. The staff as always were exceptional, however our room was incorrectly rang my reception at 5am, (and on a previous stay we were awoken in the middle of the night by a false fire alarm, so a full nights sleep is not a guarantee).
What was the most frustrating is the general disrepair of the hotel. The rooms are fairly small so for the higher price point you are really paying for the facilities. The smaller issues like furniture being old and leather chairs peeling and flaking were not a big problem, just a mild annoyance. However the bath/shower leaking everywhere when used from the base of the tub and leaving the floor soaking wet, the steam room being out of order and us not being informed of this when or even after booking, and the crowdedness and of the pool and other facilities because of non hotel users with memberships to the leisure clubs taking up the whole hot tub and sauna at once in personal groups was frustrating.
The room was also extremely hot, and the AC very very loud while not actually doing much to cool the room. There was nothing particularly stay ruining about it however if you’re paying over 200 euro for one night somewhere you would expect things to be at least average.
The main redemption was the friendliness and kindness of the staff.FromHK$1,117

There is also a train station nearby, 10 minutes walk to Tesco!
Honestly, the level of hygiene is generally the same.
Stayed for four consecutive nights, cleaned up the room, the underground dust will not be cleaned!
The room table is dirty and not wiped!
