Stayed in Japanese style room. Plenty big enough for three. Pillows were rock hard but futons comfy. No english channels on tv. Shared bath house which was great. Stayed start April so most restaurant and shops shut, very little choice. Had buffet breakfast at hotel which had good variety . would recommend hotel if you can pick up a deal. straight across the road from inchiose skifield but very limited lifts open and actually walked about 15 minutes down the road to other fields with a lot more lifts running. As spring we were able to catch chairlift for free to then ski down to gondola to buy lift tickets. Good skiing on Olympic courses.

I booked a Japanese-style room and got a soft pillow from the front desk. I had to go to the public bath to take a shower. Breakfast and dinner were both self-service. I could rent ski equipment downstairs. The storage of ski equipment was free but a deposit was required and it could be returned. The bus stop was nearby and there were many places to eat around. The service attitude of the front desk was very good.

Although the room does not have a separate shower, the public bath and bathing part is open 24 hours a day and can be washed at any time. The hotel's all-inclusive breakfast and dinner are also very attentive, very Japanese style, and there is a paper menu for dinner every day. There is a barbecue opposite the hotel. There is a supermarket next to the barbecue. 20 meters is the shuttle bus and the bus station to Nagano in Tokyo. Less than 100 meters walk is the Yizhixuan family ski resort. The location is really nothing to say, super convenient

Shanle Hotel is located in the ski area of Yizhiyi. It is less than 100 meters walk to the snow field. It is also very convenient to go to the bus stop at the intersection to other areas. The hotel itself includes breakfast and dinner. It is not very expensive, but the taste is very good, the change is also many, the price is very high, the hotel's hot springs are also good, it is worth coming again.

The hotel is quite far from the Noji Park. There are no taxis or even other means of transportation from the scenic spot, but the town is very quiet. There is a noodle restaurant named ”Fu +” which is quite good. However, the name of the wild park is not true. There are more people than monkeys, and there is no scene of a group of monkeys taking a bath. It is not bad to have a few monkeys in the spring pool. I really don’t know how the photos of the monkeys on the Internet are bathing.撵 去 🙊

A hidden gem - definitely worth recommending. The location is close to station, and walking distance to convenient store. Staff are very nice and friendly, the food is also delicious. We had two dinners at the hotel; one night sukiyaki and another night shabu shabu. Nutritious, fresh and tasty. Thank you so much for the stay- we love it!

It was a great stay. The staff was super friendly and spoke English. The had parking vallet, provided an outfit to change into and roam outside. The hot springs was super relaxing and great for the feet and body. We tried five of their private hot spring rooms out of the many more they had, some had super hot water while others were warm. The outside room hot springs were beautifully decorated. They gave us access to the 9 public onsens that had different minerals in the  for body healing. At night it was even more beautiful with the night walk and the town puts on a beautiful show and night market. Super glad we booked the stay.

The hotel itself was good, with friendly staff and excellent food. However, our stay was negatively affected by a serious booking issue. We booked through Trip for 3 adults and 1 child. The booking details clearly stated that only the onsen tax was payable at the hotel with no disclosure of additional charges for a child. I also emailed the hotel prior to our stay to clarify details but received no response. At checkout, we were unexpectedly charged an additional 40% of the adult rate for our child despite not requesting or using an extra bed. The hotel informed us they were only notified of 3 adults, confirming a miscommunication and misleading information on Trip.

It was my first time to experience Japanese tatami, which was very unique and had a beautiful view from the window. The room was large and air-conditioned for heating. People who are afraid of cold may not feel that warm, but it will be much better after taking a hot spring bath. The kelp snacks in the room were delicious, and I bought some when I left. Private hot springs are reserved for a fee. The yukata in the room is relatively simple. The best thing is that the hotel provides station pick-up service, and you can go directly to the Wild Monkey Park without luggage the next morning. After the tour, go to the coffee shop next to the parking lot where you get off and call the hotel to pick you up. The hotel will help you carry your luggage and send you directly from the Wild Monkey Park to Yudanaka Station, which is very convenient for independent travel!

We loved staying in Koishiya! It is a lovely, quaint, cozy, homey ryokan and the service was excellent. We booked this property at the last minute because we decided to spend the night in Nagano just a week prior to the start of our trip and we are so glad we did. Shibu Onsen is a super cute town. It being covered in snow when we were there made it all the more magical. The members of the staff were super warm, acommodating, generous and conversed well in English. They picked us up from Snow Monkey Park even though it's not part of their service. We didn't know this because we haven't yet read the hotel orientation materials by then. The owner of a snack store in Monkey Park arranged the pick up for us because it looked like we were so tired from walking. Thank you so much for picking us up, Koishiya!! We stayed in the annex and we had the whole building to ourselves. It was really a memorable stay for us. They also dropped us off at Yudanaka Station after check out. Thank you, Koishiya and hope to stay there again, soon!

When I arrived at Yudanaka Station, I tried to call on my cell phone, but the phone didn't work, so I was able to request a shuttle service with the help of the station staff. It didn't take long for the staff to come and we were able to move quickly and comfortably. From the time I arrived, they came out to the door and greeted me kindly, and they kindly explained the nearby hot spring tour and the use of the ryokan facilities. We were a family of four (2 adults, 2 children), but the accommodation was not small. Dinner on the day of check-in and breakfast the next day were provided, and the meals were delicious, and the staff who served the food were also very kind. When I returned to the room after dinner, a cozy blanket was set up, so I could rest comfortably. When I checked out the next day, I was able to go to the monkey park through the shuttle service. Overall, all the staff were very kind, so I felt good. The facilities were clean, and there were many things to see around, so I definitely want to go again next time. I highly recommend it to others.

Because we wanted to watch the fireworks festival and experience the hot springs, we booked a room here. We were greeted by a grandfather. It was a little late and raining when we arrived at Yudanaka. The grandfather came to pick us up. It was very comfortable to soak in the hot springs. Yudanaka should not be the peak tourist season. Maybe we arrived too late and left too early. The road was very deserted and there were not many people.

Booked a room with a private in-room onsen but it didn't make much sense as the bath was hot but there was no hot water in the shower. The room was spacious with comfortable beds and futon. Nice yukatas and socks were provided in the room. Public baths in the ryokan are great (especially outdoor area), we tried both of them. The kaiseki dinner and japanese breakfast are VERY delicious. The staff and the owner are so nice and welcoming. The free transfer to the Monkey Park is available at 9:45 am

It was brilliant! It is the same with pictures on this site. They gave me yukata and towel and changed it every day. I had a tea and enjoyed it on my balcony. I tried a futon at first time in my life. I had my own reserved table for breakfast. ❗❗❗The hotel has its own bus with driver, which took me to the Snow Monkey Park and to the station for free! Actually staff was so polite! It is seems like you are someone important. Actually the only one minus that you can't go to all 9 Shibu Onsen's baths, but just to 9th bath only. But the hotel has its own bath even open-air. It was really nice and comfortable accommodation.

I stayed in Kusatsu for the previous night, here for the second night, and Karuizawa for the third night. It was a surprisingly nice hotel, cheaper than anywhere, the rooms were larger and cleaner than anywhere. Even if there was no special thing, dinner was very delicious, which was made with polite heart. Even a two-year-old child had the same dish, and the adults were divided while saying ”I'm full”. The children served white rice in response to their requests, and the customer service of foreign staff was wonderful from beginning to end. I was surprised at the interior and fixtures of the room, and the speed at which the hot water in the bath accumulated was never experienced. I was at a loss with Shibu Onsen and wanted to go to Sora Terrace, but it was really good to stay! Thank you very much.

Love this ryokan! The service was just amazing! We arrived the ryokan feeling cold and asked where we could get some heat pads and was told that since the ryokan provides free shuttle to train station, they could send us to convenient store. And before it, the staff came back with some mini heat pads for us to use for the meanwhile. There was also paid shuttle to snow monkey park (500 yen per pax one way) that you can arrange with them. We had a tatami room, it was spacious and the staff came to the room to do the check in and served tea and welcome snack to us. The ryokan guests are entitled to go to nine onsens around the area for free. The ryokan provides yukatas and all necessities for it. The meals were sumptuous and super yummy. Overall, a fantastic ryokan experience for us!
