We did book the hotel as a birthday present for my sister. Hear her feedback: ” I would like to thank you all for making this stay an unforgettable one. We enjoyed our stay and the kindness of the staff who made sure to accommodate us from the beginning. Thank you for the birthday cake, the upgrade, and the flexibility regarding the swimming pool. We had a great stay and we hope to come back” She also said breakfast options are huge between continental buffet, Korean and Chinese food. The staff is very great and helpful. The only minus thing was that the swimming pool is usable only 3hours per day

An excellent stay. From the moment I arrived I felt very well taken care of. Every member of staff was polite, friendly, and patient. I booked a twin room but was offered a King size on arrival. I had a river view that was so beautiful! Namsan park is just across the road - the location is perfect, perfect, perfect! Room service was prompt and the food was good. I didn’t have breakfast. I did eat at JJ Mahoney’s and that was excellent - super service!! The one thing that did seem odd was I couldn’t seem to not get water all over the floor when using the shower. Not sure if it was the pressure (which was great), or the angle of the shower head (which I did adjust to try and rectify things). Nice to see sustainability measures in place for amenities, towels etc. Oh - checking in on a Friday seems to be incredibly busy. I came home from an excursion at around 4pm on Friday and the lobby was jam packed (as was the gallery for tea etc.) so perhaps try and time your visit accordingly. Excellent stay, will definitely be back!

Very beautiful hotel. Greeted by staffs who helped open the car door, and get your bags and luggage to the check in counter every day! Only bummer was at check out timing is 11am, we tried asking for later check out timing during check-in and was told hotel is full. Managed to get a late check out of 12pm when we tried again the night before leaving the hotel. Hotel has a little mall,a coffee bean, CU, some expensive restaurants. It also has a sauna (30K won per pax), 1 hot and cold tub and one sauna room. Room amenities can be requested via the web app in your room. Rooms were very modern, however Water from the shower does flood the dry toilet area a little. Generally a great stay.

My partner and I stayed at the Novotel Ambassador Seoul Dongdaemun for 5 nights and had a truly wonderful experience. From the moment we checked in, we were warmly welcomed by Dennis, who went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. He provided us with a lot of helpful information about the hotel and surrounding area, and his service throughout our stay was exceptional – truly 5-star! The location is fantastic – just a short walk to Dongdaemun History & Culture Park subway station, which made getting around the city incredibly easy. There are also plenty of convenience stores and cafes nearby, which was super handy. We also appreciated that the airport limousine bus to Incheon Airport stops just a few minutes from the hotel – very convenient for our return trip. The hotel itself is modern, clean, and well-maintained, with great amenities and comfortable rooms. It definitely lives up to its 5-star rating. We highly recommend this hotel to couples, families, or anyone looking for a quality stay in Seoul. We would definitely return in the future!

I like the location of the hotel. There is direct airport bus 6001 from Incheon airport to hotel entrance. Boarding location platform 5B-2. Beside the hotel is 会贤站, Hoehyeon Station (line 4), exit 2 and walk straight for 2 mins. Opposite is 东大门 （Dongdaemun market) and walking distance to 明洞 (Myeongdon). Upon check out, I just pulled my luggage, turn right from hotel entrance and walk straight all the way to Seoul station (about 10mins walk). Surrounding has a lot restaurants. There is GS25 convenience store and cafeteria at hotel lobby. Easy to access. The room was clean. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Room reasonable. We were 2 adults and 2 kids (12 years old). Just managed to get our 3 bags and 1 carry in it. I would describe the layout as a bit weird. As you enter the sink and the pantry (coffee making facilities) are together. While one brushes his teeth the other one is making coffee. The bathroom is only wc and shower. The beds were comfortable and were sufficient for 4 of us. We did not have bfast but there is a CU in the hotel itself. The front desk staff were very helpful and courteous. Distance to Euljiro 4 station is just 100 meters away, moving around the city would be easy but walking to central areas like Myeongdong may be too far. Hotel is good if you are paying a reasonable price for it like usd 120-140. Unfortunately we booked during peak time and paid like USD 220 for it. Overall we were satisfied but be mindful of the pricing per night when you choose this hotel.

Overall, everything was great. The hotel room was spacious and comfortable. The staff at the front desk were very kind and friendly. Housekeeping cleaned the room every day. The hotel has coin-operated washing machines and dryers, as well as a microwave, which is very convenient . Bathroom amenities are provided. For toothbrushes and toothpaste, you can get them from the hotel’s vending machine, which is very convenient. Free WiFi I really loved this place and did not want to leave. If I have a chance in the future, I will definitely stay at this hotel again.

Had a really good stay here. The hotel is about 5mins walk from Myeongdong Street, which was nice as it’s close enough to the action but still away from the crowds. The nearest subway station is only 2minsaway and has 2 lines, making it super convenient to get to places like Hongdae and Seongsu. The room was spacious and nicely renovated, and there’s also a convenience store right downstairs. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to stay near Myeongdong!

This is the ideal hotel to stay-in in Seoul because it is literally located right at the heart of Myeong-dong everywhere happening. There is a large 7-11 conveniently located just 10 metres away, the start of a night market just another 20 metres away. Cross over to the other side and there's all the luxury shopping (Lotte Deparment Stall) which in my opinion is better than Gangnam. another direction and you will hit Myeongdong shopping main street. Go underneath and there will be a huge underground shopping mall that leads all the way to City Hall main station. Rooms are very spacious, the gym was excellent and last but not least, the staffs were all very friendly and kind to allow us to check-in early due to available vacant rooms. My family and I will definitely be back here when we comes back to Seoul again.

Front desk is super friendly . I had a 2 year old and they kindly allow an early check in for me which helped out greatly and I really appreciate it. Rooms are big and spacious . Can open up my 2 giant luggage and put a crib in it . Bed was comfy and overall it was clean . Wish they change out the carpets to wood floors would be a lot cleaner . Location is wonderful right in myeongdong with lots of food in walking distance . I will for sure stay here again next time. !

This hotel is near Dongdaemun subway station, about a 10-minute walk away. However, it's right by a subway entrance, which is great because rain or wind won't be an issue. The hotel is located in Myeongdong. The airport bus 6015 drops you off about 20 meters from the hotel, and it's right next to subway line 2. Myeongdong Walking Street is about a 15-minute walk away, making its location excellent and very convenient for getting around by subway. The hotel is very quiet. Even though my room was across from the elevator, I only occasionally heard the elevator going up and down at night; otherwise, there was no other noise. The room is relatively small, but the bed and pillows are quite comfortable. The twin beds are 1.1 meters wide, which is a bit small, but compared to other hotels in Seoul, a 1.1-meter twin room is actually considered spacious. The hotel provides towels, disposable slippers, shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel, but no toothpaste or toothbrushes. The front desk staff are all very polite. There's a wonderful lady with glasses who speaks Chinese; she was very helpful and patiently answered all our questions. Since the airport bus only operates until 7:45 PM and we had a late-night flight, she helped us call a taxi. If I come back to Korea, I would definitely consider staying at this hotel again.
