Positives Weather was good despite it being end of season, is worth the risk if you dont like it being too hot but sunny. Facilities are excellent, the resort is enormous with lots of pools and the beach a stones throw away. The rooms are lovely, a bit dark but other than that spacious and well designed and comfortable. The food is healthy with enough choice for me but some may find it restrictive if they dont like healthy options. The animation team were nice and my kid enjoyed playing with them. Negatives The staff personally to me were not very nice, they didnt go beyond a hello, sometimes they ignored me, other times i had them letch over me making me feel very uncomfortable e.g getting a drink at the bar, sitting by the pool so basically anywhere during the day. The turkish people were served really well so the only thing i can think is wrong with me is that im english or a woman so try not to be english or a woman if you can help it!! Wifi was intermittent after the first few days. There was an event on which included a sit down meal but no one was told this so i ended up waiting until 8pm to realise food would be a long time with no child options and so was forced out to eat. Not great when you paid for all inclusive buffet! All inclusive here is a bit restrictive, they set so many times for when things are open that it can get confusing so i tended to stick to the main restaurant timings as to not get told to leave because im early. It could be that its end of season so they closed a lot of things or understaffed many of the food places. This place has a lot of potential but i suspect that due to the age of the hotel they wont be changing anytime soon, it works for them. If you like 5 star facilities and do t mind the negatives the. This place is a great, cheap option for a nice holiday. Turkey is a lovely country!

Positive: - great location ...Even if the journey from Dalaman Airport feels lasts forever - delicious food( especially nightly).. Fortunately, without renting a car, you always need a taxi or partly satisfactory, riding water taxi to and back to Marmaris.Cost for taxi A trip 400 TL, Water taxi 200 TL per person A trip. - nice staff - pool/ polarea - prevalent type of fatma( reception) due to complaint/uncleanness of the whole room and screened bathroom. At least clean and throw the dust sock of a guest who was sometime under the bed has nothing happened. Small nerve collapse from my side due to strong disappointment 😞 Free UPGRADE on Suite.. clean and with clothes box!! Thank you ... - AI completely enough, beer, wine etc. ( who books HP or less must expect high costs for food and drink) - cold music all day at the pool - many beds negative: - look at the years of plant. - for 5 stars luxury hotel as indicated, unusual outdoor facilities, defect facilities. 2019 allegedly completely renovated ...I wonder ...WO? .. the suites maybe.But really cost a lot of coal if you book this normal. - Dart/table tennis is very uncharitablely integrated. - I saw photos from 2018 to 2020...has nothing to do with stand Okt.2023. Concluded: thanks to the great sun and the climate at the sea at the pool, I wouldn't come here again. -

Me and my partner had the pleasure of staying at Orka Lotus Beach for 7 nights in October 2023. The moment we arrived we were impressed by the grand entrance and met with a warm smile and welcomed by a young man at the front desk. We grabbed a drink from the bar while we waited for our room and soon as our drinks were in hand, we were whisked away to our room on a golf caddy which was an exiting first impression and the gentleman escorting us jumped at a selfie opportunity! He took our bags all the way to our room and showed us the amenities. The room was comfortable and had all you would want or need from a hotel room, it was homely, stylish, comfortable and clean. We had a land view room which wasn’t all that bad as we got to see the chickens every morning, although I would consider upgrading to sea view next time as the views are breathtaking. There are a wide variety of beautiful flowers around the hotel. The hotel is built around trees and the trees are incorporated into the design and architecture. Bilal, the manager greeted us in the restaurant on the first night and remembered us by name throughout our stay. He was friendly and approachable and quick to help with recommendations for shopping, transport and even tattoos! We felt very valued to have had this service from none other than the hotel manager… running a busy hotel with hundreds of guests and staff, to remember us and take time to get to know us was a really special touch. We enjoyed getting to know all staff, particularly around the restaurant, blue bar and in the shops below the hotel. Other guests were friendly and all complimentary of their holidays too. We won a line on the bingo on our first night which put us in high spirits and earned us a meal in the Chinese restaurant which had unreal food and humorous, friendly waiters. We also won a bike hire from the shop below and ended up loving the electric bike so much it became a regular activity! We won a free photo from the photographer, which lead to us having a lovely photoshoot experience and we ended up buying more photos as they were so beautiful. I’d really recommend booking the cabanas - this was our favourite day! Having food and drinks brought to you while soaking up the sun on your own private beach hut!!! We took snorkels out too and just had the best time. We loved both Marmaris and Icmeler but Icmeler had our hearts. We loved the shops, and BS restaurant along the beachfront if you walk towards Icmeler direction. We took a boat trip to Cleopatra island where the sea is ultra clear and there are lots of fish. Our whole holiday was honestly like a slice of paradise and we can’t wait to go back but next time with our little one, parents and siblings to show them how wonderful Orka and Icmeler is! Spectacular 33 bedroom luxury hotel set agains thr backdrop of what must be the most beautiful bay in the area. A must for food lovers, sailors and anyone that wants to explore the region on foot and by sail boat. Don’t miss the Hemithea temple which will soon be excavated. Top marks.

I am currently staying at this hotel, and I must say that it left me with mixed feelings. On one hand, the design and ambiance of the hotel were simply breathtaking. The sophistication and beauty of the rooms were in perfect harmony with the surrounding environment, creating a truly immersive experience. The location, too, was unparalleled, and the hotel made the best use of its prime position. However, despite these positives, I couldn't help but feel disappointed by the service provided by the staff. Communication between the hotel staff and guests was noticeably lacking. Important updates and events were only announced on Instagram, leaving many staff members uninformed about the happenings within the hotel. This lack of coordination resulted in confusion and frustration as we found ourselves unaware of available amenities or the current menu offerings. One of the major drawbacks was the disinterest shown by the staff towards the guests. While the hotel was exclusively for adults, the adjacent beach seemed to attract people from all over, which impacted the serene and exclusive atmosphere. To add to the disappointment, the hotel staff paid little attention to the beachgoers, appearing disengaged and uninterested in catering to their needs. It was disheartening to observe the lack of personal touch and genuine care that should be expected from a luxury establishment. The music experience at the hotel was a mixed bag. While the pool area offered a perfect and relaxing musical backdrop, the beach area suffered from inconsistencies. On some days, loud disco music with heavy bass blared as early as 8:00 in the morning, disrupting any hopes of tranquility. On other days, pleasant and soothing summery tunes would play, befitting a 5-star relaxation haven. This inconsistency in the musical atmosphere added to the overall inconsistency of the hotel's identity. It is evident that a considerable amount of thought had been put into the hotel's design, but unfortunately, the same level of consideration does not seem to extend to defining what the hotel truly wants to be. Moreover, it is apparent that minimal effort had been invested in training the staff adequately, resulting in a lackluster guest experience. In conclusion, this hotel possesses the potential to be one of the world's finest, thanks to its exceptional location and captivating design. However, it falls short due to poor management and the disruptive activities of neighboring establishments. While I genuinely wanted to love this hotel, the issues with service, communication, and inconsistency left me feeling unsatisfied. With some improvements in management and a focus on training and coordination, this hotel could truly become a world-class destination.
