A butler followed up throughout my stay, and I could communicate any needs I had; the butler responded proactively. The location is definitely the biggest advantage, making transportation incredibly convenient. It's an old state-run hotel, so it generally feels quite traditional and a bit dated, like stepping back ten years. The facilities are a bit old; there was a leak in the shower, and not many power outlets, but it met most basic needs. The breakfast was good; while not as refined as new chain hotels, the dishes were distinctive. The service attitude was excellent, especially Chengcheng from concierge and the intern at the front desk, both deserve praise. I'd suggest putting a power strip behind the nightstand, otherwise, the most conveniently located outlet gets blocked and becomes unusable, which is really inconvenient for charging phones.

The New Century Grand Hotel is located across from the No. 54 tram, and the terminal is just a short walk to the mountain. It's a 5-star hotel with an excellent location, cleanliness, and service. 👍 I was traveling with my child, and the front desk upgraded me to a deluxe suite on the 11th floor. I've traveled to many cities and stayed in many hotels, but one that particularly impressed me was the Garden Hotel in Guangzhou, a Platinum Five-Star hotel where I stayed in a suite. A hallmark of a good hotel is excellent service and thoughtful consideration for guests. Breakfast is also very Northeastern-style, featuring dumplings with three fresh fillings, fried bean buns, corn tortillas, steamed potatoes, and steamed eggplant. You have to wait in line for the wonton stew. There's also a wide variety of breads. However, some items were sold out quickly, and the replacement process was a bit slow. I'd also like to thank Ctrip's customer service for their excellent service. I overbooked, and they even refunded the difference. Thank you.

We stayed in this hotel during the Golden Week and booked a basic double room...you can imagine our surprise when we were upgraded for free in a beautiful and spacious suite! The room had 1 full bathroom with bathtub and another smaller bathroom with only the toilet and sink, a big living room with sofa, table and mini fridge, an office corner and a second room with bed, table, an ottoman and an amazing view!! The bed was extremely comfortable, even if a little small. The room also provided tea, coffee, several bottles of water and toiletries. We also had breakfast included and I was pleasantly surprised by the choice of both Chinese food and some Western (croissants, small waffles, banana bread, fruits, yogurt, juice, jams and butter). The location is pretty central but also far from crowds and noisy areas. There are 2 metros not too far away and the beautiful park Nan hu. All in all a very nice stay!

I stayed on the 12th floor, in a corner standard room. The view was incredible, completely unobstructed, looking directly at Jilin Animation Institute and Jilin University. The bed and TV were huge, and the wireless screen mirroring worked perfectly with a smooth signal. The room was spacious, with a great wet/dry separation in the bathroom. The decor was new, and all the toiletries were sealed. The Atour tea was delicious! It's a high-quality place with a discreet feel. Both the front desk and floor staff were very friendly. You need your room key to access the elevator, and a robot delivers takeout. The hotel is located right in a mall, and you can go directly to the adjacent mall from the -2 level. There's also a snack shop on the first floor. It's incredibly convenient! Late checkout until 2 PM is also available.
