Excellent hotel! Location is chic, next to the ocean, there is its own area with cheeslongs, the area is protected. Very convenient location - near the island of Mnemba, to Nungwi half an hour drive, to Matemwe, where many shops, half an hour walking. The rooms are beautiful, clean pasta, air conditioning, hot water in the bathroom 24 hours a day. Food in the restaurant is very delicious, portions are good. Staff is kind. I would like to thank the managers of the Maurice and Munisi hotel for their excellent work and thank you for your excellent holiday!

The location is at Matenwe in Zanzibar. A bit difficult to get ro but an absolute treasure. It's a retreat place but more like a resort. Directly opposite the beach, great pool, fine location and overall great staff. I'll like to visit again.

Hotel: Beautiful views and nice arquitecture. On our last day they let us do a free late check out and have dinner and stay at the hotel till 11pm which really shows that the hotel care about their guests. Food: The food is good. The cliff restaurant is very nice and with good dishes. Buffet is quite diverse and you have the BBQ night which is awesome. Something to improve: desserts. Service: All the staff is very nice and friendly. Pools: You have 3/4 different pools with 2 bars which is great to order some drinks. Room: big rooms and very spacious. Bed sheets, towels and matress are quite old. They need to be changed. Gym: Needs an improvement. To close it and are some fan/air conditioner. They should add some running and bike equipment. Beach: Beautiful beach with super crystal water. Something bad is the local people that wants to sell everything at all time. But I guess that is something normal in all Zanzibar. Score: 8,5/10

Riu Palace 5* The oldest hotel, If I'm not mistaken, it opened in 2018 with very beautiful grounds, in my opinion. The hotel's cascading layout may be a drawback for some. It's a low-rise building of two-story bungalows, designed in an African style, and townhouse-style houses in the modern style of the Rio hotel chain. The grounds are very beautiful. The landscaping is beautiful in every detail. The grounds are beautifully maintained and aesthetically pleasing. The descent to the ocean/beach is via stairs, but there are several beach areas above offering stunning views. And since this isn't Mount Everest, the stairs and the elevated location add a special touch. A stunning view of the ocean opens up. There are security guards on the stairs and on the beach who keep vendors and other people away, creating a certain privacy for your vacation. After the opening of the Riu Palace Swahili * Adults Only hotel, the concept of the Riu Palace 5* Adults Only hotel changed to a family-friendly hotel. 🙈 The hotel's entertainment: a relaxed atmosphere, a leisurely stay. There is daytime entertainment, but it's unobtrusive. In the evening, there is always music and entertainment. 11-11:30 am lights out. The hotel offers a wide variety of food options, so I won't list all the dishes and products. The aesthetics are everywhere: the table setting, the staff, the presentation of the dishes, the presentation. Friends stayed at the Rio Jumbo hotel, so we had the opportunity to compare the two hotels. The Riu Palace was, and remains, the top choice. Riu Swahili +18 is the third hotel in the Rio chain. It's an adults-only hotel. The buildings are the same high concrete structures as the Rio Jumbo hotel, and the only downside to this hotel is the lack of a full beachfront. The entrance to the ocean is a grand staircase. At high tide, there is no beachfront. It's completely hidden by the ocean, so you can only swim by diving into the ocean's depths from a cliff. Or you can descend the grand staircase to reach the water's edge. Riu Palace is our favorite. In terms of service and room quality, the only downside for us is that it's a family hotel, accommodating guests with children.

We stayed for two days, from February 13th to 15th. We booked rooms in different locations to experience different views, and both the garden and the ocean views were beautiful. The staff were all friendly and the food was good. However, we had to check out at dawn on the 15th, so we asked the reception, and the staff at the desk during dinner treated us very disappointingly. They made fun of our English pronunciation in a comical way, even though we live in a non-English speaking country. They also told us to go back to our room and get another card because the Mastercard logo was on the card machine, and when we asked them to try paying, they sarcastically asked if it was the right card. Of course, the card machine recognized the card and the payment was made perfectly. I didn't know that it was the management policy of this resort to make fun of customers who are not good at English and treat them like thieves. If I had known, I wouldn't have made a reservation, but except for that problematic staff member, all the staff were friendly and the facilities were satisfactory. I think I need to think more about whether it is worth enduring the ridicule.

It was a great trip, especially with a few good friends. Although there was no opposite sex, it did not affect our enjoyment of life and emotional release! The hotel is really perfect, with complete facilities, pleasant environment, and all three meals in the restaurant are well arranged. It was also a romantic party... Walking along the white beach in the morning and evening, riding a motorboat with the sunset... Perfect! Next time, I can really bring my family to Sang Island for a trip. It is hospitable and the scenery is pleasant! If you don't want to step on the pit of the hotel, come here!

We stayed at this hotel for three consecutive days on Zanzibar. The hotel has a very resort-like style and is quite large. It's located in the northern part of the island and offers all-inclusive meals. We ate at the main restaurant for all our meals, only booking the overwater bungalow once. The room had a beautiful sea view and was cleaned thoroughly, although the sheets and duvet covers were a bit thick. Everything else was fine. The hotel has its own beach and pool, with direct access to the sea, which is beautiful. There's 24-hour security provided by local guards upon entering the hotel, so the safety factor is quite high. The restaurant staff were very enthusiastic, and of course, we tipped them for their good service, which made them happy and made us feel even more welcome. Overall, it was great, highly recommended.

Beau parc avec des arbres variés et très bien entretenu autour des chambres Restauration correcte et de qualité. Personnel dans son ensemble très aimable ainsi que les serveurs hommes et femmes. À noter qu’ils ont toujours une tenue impeccable et propre. Pourquoi n’y a t’il pas le service des draps de plage sur la plage ce qui éviterait d’avoir à promener son drap de plage jusqu’à sa chambre !!! . Un détail mais des aérateurs dans certaines parties communes auraient besoin d’un nettoyage, quand au reste de l’établissement très propre et bien entretenue. Excellent rapport qualité prix.

The Lux Marijani Zanzibar hotel was a DREAM ✨ The hotel getaway you never knew you needed. The hotel is approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes away from the airport. Upon arriving at the hotel we were warmly greeted by hospitable staff and amazing refreshments 🍹 The transition to our room was seemless thanks to our wonderful concierge Temba 👏 The room was beautifully decorated and spacious with a great view of the hotel’s private beach. It was equipped with a hair dryer, bathrobes, slippers, a kettle and a TV (with YouTube access). The hotel is perfect for couples and family alike. With an extraordinary food menu from its three restaurants. The hotel offers regular themed buffet meals ( Mexican Night/ BBQ Night) for its guests. It offers meals right around the clock: Breakfast ($35 usd), Lunch ($35 usd) & Dinner ($45 usd). There is also an option to pay from all-inclusive meal packages upon arrival. Special shout out to Chef Desi for his mouthwatering coconut delights, I will miss that the most! 😂 The hotel’s facilities also include a pool 🏊♀️ and a gym 🏋️♀️ (open from 7am-6pm). There are also various daily activities like Marco Polo, table tennis, art class, cooking class and beach volleyball to name a few. It was overall a great experience staying at the Lux Marijani Zanzibar and I would urge everyone to enjoy this experience on their own. Whether it’s dancing the night away to the music of the live band or just taking a sunset stroll on the beach. It was truly a life-changing and I highly recommend staying here. Came here to relax after trekking and safari trips and the lodge is a peaceful retreat set on the northeast side of Zanzibar. Loved the surroundings and garden is so beautiful. I picked this place as it has a dive center and it did not disappoint. The team at Dive Point Zanzibar is professional and the ratio of dive instructors / masters to visitors is 1:2 which is great. I am visiting on the shoulder season as the island is heading into low season so it is relatively quiet everywhere and I get to enjoy the full service and attention :)

Very pleasant shop small and exquisite. I personally and my friends like it very much. The price is also very beautiful. The main thing is that the beach is very soft. The boss is an Italian couple.
