As a diving enthusiast, Napaling on Bohol Island is a must-dive destination every year, with its stunning sardine runs and dramatic drop-off. However, finding a hotel here is always a challenge; either the conditions are poor, or the good ones are prohibitively expensive. Most hotels are also located in central Alona, too far from Napaling. This year, I finally found a hotel with incredibly high value for money. This newly opened hotel boasts French-style interiors, incredibly comfortable beds, and a quiet night's sleep. Most importantly, they have a bathtub – a relaxing soak after diving is simply wonderful! There's a café downstairs, perfect for enjoying breakfast while watching the sunrise. The staff are friendly and provide excellent service. I've decided to book this hotel every year! (By the way, they only have 8 rooms available, so book early!)

The location is right at Napaling Reef, so you can directly access the water. The hotel rooms are very spacious. It feels like it's owned by Chinese people, as everything inside is Chinese and more complete than what you'd typically find in a Filipino hotel, even including toothbrushes and hairdryers (which are usually absent in the Philippines). The breakfast is decent, and the room decor is also beautiful and newer than average. The bed is huge, and there's a bathtub. Perhaps because it's so new, there was a slight renovation smell in the room. It's very convenient if you're going to Napaling to see sardines or for other activities.
