While we had a lovely stay at the Hilton in Ocean City, we were most impressed by their response to a situation after our departure. Our son forgot a fairly pricey set of boots in our room upon checkout. He realized the loss 4 days later after we had returned home — a 3-hour drive away. We called the Hilton on Sunday afternoon and left a voice mail, frankly not expecting much. By 10 am Monday, we had received a call from the hotel manager verifying the item was found, directing us to a vendor for having it shipped to us, and we had an email in hand with the name of the recovery company in less than 4 minutes. The vendor “ileftmystuff.com” had all the information pre-filled into their return form by Hilton. We completed the return form quickly, received confirmation of submission, and a UPS tracking number within the hour. That was yesterday am — the boots were delivered today at 2:42 pm. What a wonderful experience after an “oops, I left my stuff”! Thanks to Kim, the Hilton manager, for such a caring and professional response, and to I Left My Stuff for an easy and quick method to retrieve lost items.

Very friendly staff. Beautiful ocean front room with balcony. Nice, convenient in-room kitchen. Beautiful indoor pool but the water temperature was quite cool. The bed was not comfortable. We brought this to management’s attention and were given a pillow topper, which helped slightly. Boz and Marina worked with us to help make our mini vacation better. Make sure you check out the fantastic hotel restaurant. Uncle Frank at concierge is a true delight! Your trip will not be complete if you do not stop and talk with him. We are looking forward to our next day in this hotel.
