Undoubtedly beautifully designed house with amazing Mt Fuji view. Quiet and peaceful. Check in procedure is unclear during booking and there was no check in instruction received via email until the day of checking in. Spent quite sometimes stuck outside of the house in the cold.

Because it’s for camping or something like that So it’s very convenient if you can’t carry your luggage (because part of it is grass) Because it is not a self-driving tour, but if you are traveling by self-driving, it is very convenient because there is a buried parking space However, the sightseeing bus for Lake Kawaguchi has a stop right at the front door. It looks so big indoors But it’s not that big, it’s better outdoors And you can rent its BBQ grill and the room already has a small kitchen (with kitchen utensils) There is already a supermarket near the hotel And there are several restaurants nearby But it’s not related to the cleanliness of the room (I don’t know if it’s because I only stayed for 2 nights) And the carpet indoors is a little dirty.

I managed to book a hot spring room that someone else had canceled. It's essential to leave your booking info on their official website; they'll send you an email alert when a room becomes available. I upgraded from a regular 3200 JPY Japanese-style room to a hot spring room for only 700 JPY more (including tax) within a week – the experience was completely different! On top of that, I got to see Mount Fuji on a clear, cloudless day the next morning. My luck was definitely in! 👍👍👍

Facilities: I stayed here in 2018, and this time around, it feels pretty much the same, very well-maintained. Dinner: There's a wide variety of food, more than you can possibly eat. The only downside is that the sukiyaki beef has been replaced with pork, which isn't as good. Everything else is fine though.

The room is very clean. It's the first time I stayed in a mixed-gender hostel, but it exceeded my expectations. Everyone is very well-educated, so there is no need to worry about safety or other issues. Instead, I met some very interesting people. The boss is very nice. He should be learning Chinese. He introduced the various locations of the hotel to me in Chinese. The public area on the first floor is also very comfortable. Snacks and coffee are free🆓. I love this hostel. Oh, by the way, the rooftop should not be too photogenic. You can see Mount Fuji at a glance. It is also clear at night🏙️. It is also a 100-point choice to get up early in the morning to watch the sunrise. If I go to Japan again, if I go to Mount Fuji again, I will stay here again~🖐🏻星⭐, the following are some photos taken on the rooftop, plus ➕ a photo of Fuji after the snow and fog dissipated. Before I came back🈶 I talked to my companions and said that this might be my first and last time to Japan, but after I came back, every time I saw the photos on my phone, the desire to go back🔙 became heavier. ... Then goodbye! See you again!

5 people travel, so satisfied Facilities: complete, there are free bicycles to ride to the attractions very local Hygienic: very new, clean and tidy Environment: The bedding is comfortable and you can see Mount Fuji 🗻 Perfect Service: You can make an appointment for the shuttle bus, and the service is very satisfactory until the appointment is full.

The place was very clean and well maintained. There were plenty of amenities from electronics to cutlery. There were also a good number of bicycles provided to facilitate transportation around the island. Pick up service was on time and handy as the sightseeing bus from the station cost 410 yen per pax. For a family of 4, it is a much welcomed saving.

We stayed two nights at Lake Kawaguchiko, and Ubuya is indeed the most highly-rated. My elderly relatives felt that Ubuya was superior to Fufu, finding it brighter, more spacious, having a livelier atmosphere, and offering better views. Ubuya's prime lakeside location is truly its greatest asset. As we opened the room door, we were met with gasps of awe; the view of Mount Fuji reflected in the lake was simply breathtaking. I must also highly recommend Ubuya's hot springs. They feature seven different pools, including indoor and outdoor baths, still pools, massage pools, and even 'bed baths'. It was the most comfortable onsen experience I've ever had – truly exceptional! I'll definitely be back. The Wagyu hotpot was superb! Our group of six was arranged in a private dining room, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Ubuya is a typical Japanese ryokan. While the rooms are relatively modest in design, they are remarkably spacious.

Very very very great hotel with enchanted room and environment, the bathtub can see Fuji Mt. when weather is nice. And the dinner has its features and breakfast has a variety of food. And they provide pick-up service to the kawaguchiko station. There is a very nice uncle at the information desk who was very helpful to answer inquiries and even plan for future schedule.

We stayed at Mt. Fuji View Onsen Ooike Hotel for four days and three nights, and overall, it was a wonderful experience. We booked a tatami-style Japanese room on the third floor with a direct view of Mount Fuji—waking up to that scenery every morning was absolutely breathtaking. The room was clean, cozy, and authentically Japanese. The hotel has two onsens: one on the top floor and one on the ground floor. Both were clean, quiet, and relaxing. Please note they are gender-separated, It was never crowded during our visit. Breakfast was delicious and varied, with plenty of options to start the day well. The hotel also has a souvenir shop on the first floor with reasonable prices—I wish I had bought more! A practical plus was the laundry room. The washing machines run a disinfection cycle before each wash, which felt very hygienic. It costs 400 yen per wash, and there’s a coin exchange machine on-site. While the price is slightly on the higher side, it’s reasonable compared to other high-end private onsen hotels in the area. Great for families or couples looking for a peaceful, scenic, and comfortable stay near Mount Fuji. Highly recommended for: Families, couples, Fuji view seekers, onsen lovers.

Super place, very nicely furnished and private onsen, fully serviced hotel with full privacy and attended service kind hospitality, Although limited western options for breakfast, very nicely and chef prepared Japanese cousins and with prior intimation, took full care for nice vegetarian Japanese food, completely private area for breakfast and dinner and with timed reservations, Overall a luxurious experience, Although can’t see Fuji from any of the room nor from anywhere in the hotel, mountain can be seen as soon as outside, lots of restaurants of all kind in walking distance, Lawson convenience store just two mins by foot, overall excellent location and super comfort, full privacy and good hospitality, International staff and sometimes get a feeling that too many staff members rather flocking towards the guest which was at a times bit overwhelming but that is how it is, stringent about breakfast etc timings but that was fine, Ofcourse expensive but worth sometimes!

The hotel location is great, right by Lake Kawaguchiko, and it's a ten-minute walk to the train station. Downstairs, there's a restaurant street, a Lawson convenience store, and even a smoking area, plus it's very close to the cable car station. The hotel is a bit old, but it has a lot of character. It also has a hot spring, and the free bath was so relaxing. It was my first time staying in a tatami room, which was quite interesting. The best part is that the hotel fee includes breakfast and dinner, which were both delicious and exquisitely prepared! I'd definitely consider staying here again next time.

This hotel is located south of Lake Kawaguchiko, which isn't the most popular area. It's also quite old, dating back to 1887. However, the facilities and maintenance are up to par, and the hotel has a distinct, traditional Japanese style that exudes a historical sense of luxury. A wonderful surprise was that all the mountain-view rooms offer an unobstructed and stunning view of Mount Fuji, truly unique and beautiful, peaceful and serene. It's definitely worth staying here. Even though the hotel isn't in a prime location around Lake Kawaguchiko, they provide a shuttle service to and from Kawaguchiko train station, which takes about 10 minutes. Another highlight for me was the hot springs. The male and female baths are separate, extremely clean, and quite modern. There are indoor and outdoor baths; the outdoor setting is particularly relaxing. The contrast between the warm spring water and the cold outdoor air creates a comfortable feeling of embracing nature with an open heart. However, it's not advisable to stay in the springs for too long; I was back in my room within twenty minutes. The hot spring experience is definitely one of my fondest memories of this hotel. For dinner, the hotel offers French cuisine and Kaiseki. We ordered one of each. They were decent, but the presentation and dining experience were very impressive. Right behind the hotel is the lake, where you can rent bicycles and cycle around, enjoying the beautiful scenery. All in all, this hotel was excellent and exceeded my expectations.

Dinner was very delicious. We came to celebrate birthday, a dessert platter was prepared for us. It was thankful. A Japanese lady “Yumi”was super nice when we met her after checked out. Room is a bit small when compared with picture. The gentleman in the reception was a bit too black and white. If he could add some emotion and care it will be perfect 🤭 BTW the wine cellar in the restaurant has super nice wine but no price tag 😉

Let's start with the positives: The surrounding infrastructure is excellent, with a mall, convenience stores, and restaurants nearby. Breakfast was decent. On the first floor, you can pick up pajamas and special pillows, and there's also a hot spring with long operating hours. The room was very clean and quiet. I highly recommend visiting Arakurayama Sengen Park; the view of Fujiyoshida from above is fantastic. Now for the drawbacks: The transportation is a bit awkward. It's more than a 20-minute walk from Kawaguchiko Station, and there's no bus stop. This hotel is really more suited for those traveling by car or bicycle. Many Japanese guests stay here.

Perfect stay for an authentic Japanese experience! We loved the building, food, staff and amenities provided. We selected a tatami style room for 4 and it was just the right size, however do note that suitcases are only allowed at the entrance platform of the room and not into the tatami bit due to the nature of the flooring. The hotel breakfast is highly recommended for a great slow and healthy start of the morning! There is also a rooftop area which was a bonus surprise for us as you can view Mount Fuji from there (if it says hi). Above all, the public bath was amazing - we went every day haha

The hotel deserves an excellent mark. The hotel is situated just a 10-minute walk from the main train and bus station. Besides this, the hotel offers a free transfer service (check the schedule first), which is also very nice. The hotel looks very clean and fresh. If you are lucky enough, you'll get a nice view of Mt. Fuji just from your room window. What I liked the most is the Japanese spa, which is included in the accommodation package. It has different types of warm pools, including several outside the building. Please observe the admittance rules before going to the spa (e.g., no tattoos, etc.). The room was quite spacious, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Additionally, I would like to point out the catering.
