It took a long time to check out and I remembered to evaluate 😂 I forgot to take photos. The room environment is very good, the computer configuration is also real, and the configuration is very good. There was a game that I often played for the first time. I used to stay here frequently for business trips. Although the facilities are a bit dated, the location and breakfast (especially the chicken soup tofu skewers) are great, and the value for money is acceptable. This time, I brought my child and booked a family room. We arrived at 3:30 PM, and the front desk said the previous guests had checked out only half an hour ago and housekeeping was rushing to clean the room. I thought it would take 10 or 15 minutes at most, but after waiting for a while and asking again, I was told it would take 30-40 minutes to clean one room. I went to the front desk again to urge them, and only then did they contact housekeeping, eventually saying, ”It's almost ready, you can check in now.” The entire process, from arrival to check-in (including issues with the key card not working in the elevator and trying multiple times), dragged on until 4:05 PM, a full 35-minute wait. What I don't understand is, since we had already arrived, there were no other guests waiting, and it was 3:30 PM, a normal check-in time, why couldn't they assign two people to clean one room to speed things up? On top of that, the front desk staff (not the one with curly hair, but another person) had a very indifferent attitude and never offered a single apology throughout the entire process, making for a very poor experience. The hotel can review the surveillance footage to verify the objectivity of my statements. Next time I'm on a business trip, I might have to look at other hotels. The service industry needs standardized procedures and the right people in these roles. I'm also from Changchun, and if service positions are filled through 'connections,' then consumers will simply vote with their feet. The good aspects: From my child's perspective, they had a very happy stay. The lobby manager and the evening front desk staff were also pleasant to communicate with.

Facilities: It's an old hotel with outdated facilities. They even used grout to patch gaps in the elevator, which looked really bad. The toilet paper holder in the room was loose and wobbly. Hygiene: The hygiene was maintained quite well. Service: The welcome snacks and drinks included with the booking weren't delivered to the room. I had to call and ask for them two or three hours later, which was a minus. Food: The Chinese food was disappointing. The daily soup was bland and watery – can you believe a 68-yuan soup only had one piece of pork rib? Just one, that's pretty wild. Breakfast was decent, nothing special, nothing bad.

The hotel overall exceeded my expectations. First off, the location is superb, right next to the 'Zhe You Shan' shopping complex and Changchun Film Studio Museum, literally just downstairs. Manager Bobo and the young lady at the front desk were both incredibly warm and attentive. They added an extra bed to the suite's living room free of charge, and the air conditioning issue was resolved very quickly. We even received a gift box of Zongzi and a fridge magnet. The suite itself was spacious with plenty of amenities. The afternoon tea and happy hour included in the executive benefits were also quite good. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit.

Quite many restaurants around the hotel but quality was just the local-okay ones. Personal favorite was 王記醬骨頭館 which is 15mins away by car, their Shandong food was superb and good price, we love it! Hotel breakfast was great in the varieties and taste! Yet one of the remarks to the hotel is, the shower gel bottle was totally empty when we checked in the room so my recommendation is if the housekeeping quality can be enhanced it would be a perfect hotel for holiday that we enjoyed so much! It was a good value choice indeed 👍

The New Century Grand Hotel is located across from the No. 54 tram, and the terminal is just a short walk to the mountain. It's a 5-star hotel with an excellent location, cleanliness, and service. 👍 I was traveling with my child, and the front desk upgraded me to a deluxe suite on the 11th floor. I've traveled to many cities and stayed in many hotels, but one that particularly impressed me was the Garden Hotel in Guangzhou, a Platinum Five-Star hotel where I stayed in a suite. A hallmark of a good hotel is excellent service and thoughtful consideration for guests. Breakfast is also very Northeastern-style, featuring dumplings with three fresh fillings, fried bean buns, corn tortillas, steamed potatoes, and steamed eggplant. You have to wait in line for the wonton stew. There's also a wide variety of breads. However, some items were sold out quickly, and the replacement process was a bit slow. I'd also like to thank Ctrip's customer service for their excellent service. I overbooked, and they even refunded the difference. Thank you.

We stayed in this hotel during the Golden Week and booked a basic double room...you can imagine our surprise when we were upgraded for free in a beautiful and spacious suite! The room had 1 full bathroom with bathtub and another smaller bathroom with only the toilet and sink, a big living room with sofa, table and mini fridge, an office corner and a second room with bed, table, an ottoman and an amazing view!! The bed was extremely comfortable, even if a little small. The room also provided tea, coffee, several bottles of water and toiletries. We also had breakfast included and I was pleasantly surprised by the choice of both Chinese food and some Western (croissants, small waffles, banana bread, fruits, yogurt, juice, jams and butter). The location is pretty central but also far from crowds and noisy areas. There are 2 metros not too far away and the beautiful park Nan hu. All in all a very nice stay!
