Good- The hospitality and standards of taj were very well maintained. The garden area is beautiful. Breakfast was great!!
Not so good - the 2 bedroom suite had just one bathroom and the suits are in the middle of reception. No privacy in that sense.

Hotel location is good......Common areas are well maintained however the rooms are not as reflected in photograph on the website....Restaurant is not well ***aged although the staff is good but I feel there is a lot of scope for improvement. ...Buffet breakfast is good....Biryani taste was good....Food in general was good...Had to wait for more than 30 minutes for the hotel staff to transfer my luggage from room during checkout.....There was a lot of difference between the price as mentioned on trip.com and directly with hotel.....Trip.com was less for the same Privilege Suite....

This was our second time staying here but not so pleasant this time
Food was average
And some of the staffs didn’t pay attention to the room issues like
flash not working in morning ;
requesting to have breakfast during waiting time ( which looked liked a good gesture coz breakfast time was almost over and why to waste food but later asking to pay ( which should had been informed priorly )

The Leela, Kovalam is an amazing hotel, which my 11 year old son and I would highly recommend! It is on a cliff top overlooking the Arabian Sea. We upgraded to Club Room, which provides you with access to The Cafe, a restaurant serving Club members complimentary breakfast 7-10:30am and High Tea 5-6pm and additional a La carts chargeable lunch and dinner. The Club room is exceptional, with a balcony with table and chairs overlooking the Arabian Sea, King bed with very comfortable mattress and bedding, fantastic walk in shower, sink and toilet, with all the toiletries. Rooms are cleaned well and the food is wonderful. We ate everything safely with no upset stomached here and the staff were wonderful! We would happily return!From€254

The location was excellent. The rooms are quite OK although would have expected much more cleanliness for a 4 star hotel.
The fragrant smell was too strong.
I booked hotel for few hours stay although I paid for a day. The main purpose was to take rest and have some sleep before my long flight
Unfortunately I couldn't get sleep because of an ongoing renovation work and disturbed my sleep.
Although the receptionist agreed to stop the work but it was too late. Rest all is OK.

Bedsheet - needs more attention and cleaning. Check before use.
They even upgraded me to free breakfast for all days of my stay without even asking. The staff is very polite and helpful.

Thank you for your help for 7 days. I think the location is good as it is within walking distance of Sripadmanabhaswamy Temple, which is the number one tourist spot in Thiruvananthapuram. The rooms are clean and spacious. There is no air conditioning, but there is a huge fan on the ceiling that is as cool as an air conditioner. There is no hot water from the shower, but it's hot outside, so if you take a shower after going out, the temperature will be just right. The restaurant was open even at odd hours, so I think it's probably open 24 hours. There is a menu in each room so you can check it out, but the prices are not that high compared to nearby restaurants. The minimum amenities other than tissues and shampoo are provided.
I was so satisfied that I couldn't believe it was only 2,000 yen per night.From€25

Overall, I am happy to stay here throughout this one week simply because all the staff are super friendly. Greetings to me every day and smile all the time.
Only some personal comments regarding the hotel access card, no disturb/ clean my room card are not 5 star hotel standard.
Most importantly is the hygiene issues need some effort or improvement. The drinking water cap is dirty, the cup is dirty, the wall gets mouldy, etc.
Most of the food in the restaurant is not available. Advice to simplify the menu.
Gym facilities are old, some already spoiled and not fixing yet. No towel provided.From€52

The hotel is old and some facilities are aging, but the pattern is definitely one of the best hotels in the past. The layout of the garden-style hotel is definitely high in the city center. It is more than one grade higher than the only Hilton Hotel in Kerala. The room is spacious, there is a foyer in the English layout, and the big bed room is made. The feeling of the suite. Check-out can be extended until 8 o'clock in the evening, which may be related to the off-season. The service is absolutely convincing, and the dining is also delicious, comparing the authentic Indian cuisine.SOLD OUT

The property is located at a centralised and hygienic location in the city, nearer to railway station and bus stand. The public transport system is easily available on call.
The stay in the hotel was nice and comfortable.
All modern facilities were provided by the hotel and are of good standard. Staff was very amicable and hospitable. Food was delicious and the service was prompt and quick.
