A memorable stay for two days at Guruvayur Darshan hotel. First thing to mention is the friendly staff who are always there to take care of customers be it in the welcome desk or restaurant or at room service. Quick service. And the breakfast buffet at restaurant was too good. The restaurant manager went extra mile to give us dinner when we reached late The person at the gate who welcomes customers and take care of visitors can also is so customer oriented. Next time for sure will stay.

our stay was very comfortable at Guruvayoor Darshan. The staff was very courteous and helpful in helping my father who was wheelchair bound. The restaurant food was also good and room service was timely. The location is convenient, close to the East Nada of the temple. I would definitely recommend this place to others and would also come back again on the future visits to Guruvayoor.

Staff: The behavior of the staff was excellent. Parking: Ample car parking space. Neatness: The lobby and rooms were very clean. Food: I didn’t like the food much; it didn’t have the typical Kerala taste. Water: Personally, I didn’t like the water provided in glass bottles, even though they claim it is filtered. I prefer mineral water. The hotel provides only 1 liter of bottled mineral water for three persons, ***** with water in glass bottle.

Thank you for the wonderful stay. Initially we thought its only one bedroom, but its entire apartment having 2 bedrooms. Every member of my family was truly happy with the experience, from the excellent location, facilities provided, easy accessibility to both the temples and the local market. Since the property is so close to the Guruvayur Temple, we were able to stay at the temple until the last pooja of the day, witness the Seeveli procession, and attend the temple closing rituals at night, which made our visit even more special. The apartment is pristine clean and tidy, all the amenities shown are intact and very available. The host also, always in contact with us and is guiding us, whenever we require. Check-in was @ 11 pm and it was very smooth. The apartment is very quite and its like ”Home Away from Home” Overall, it was a lovely and memorable stay, and we look forward to staying here again in the future!

Breakfast was excellent…But, room condition was not so good as there was no door for the Jacuzzi and water was spreading out to the dry area…Also AC was kept at near zero…No remote to increase the cooling…Towels were old turned yellow…Bathroom gel was insufficient…

The room was a bit smaller, but overall, the ambiance of the lobby, restaurant, and room was commendable. The restaurant served only meals at lunchtime, which were delicious, but the rates were on the higher side compared to the average meal prices across Kerala. At night, the restaurant was closed as the cooks were either on leave or unavailable, so I opted to have dinner at an adjacent restaurant. Having visited Guruvayur multiple times, I must say the hotel is good value for money despite a few shortcomings. While a full-fledged restaurant isn't available, and the rooms are smaller, even bathroom linens seemed either very old or poorly maintained by the laundry section. Tea kettles are not kept in the rooms by default, but I believe they can be provided upon request.

The room was just okay, but overall the experience was disappointing. The AC kept switching off every 30 minutes and was clearly not powerful enough for a deluxe room. There was no lock on the bathroom door, and a foul smell was coming from the cupboards. The beds were uncomfortable, causing back pain and making it hard to sleep. The condition of the room suggests that it is overdue for a proper renovation. Very dissatisfied with the stay.
