The large mirror in the room faces the bed. You can come in if you don't mind. The location is between stations 22 and 23 of BIGBUS. Sydney Harbor has a quieter atmosphere than Darling Harbor. The hotel floor is not high, so if you want to see the mountains from a small perspective, you should go to one of the big hotels. Then that day, when I opened the door to the restroom next to the breakfast room, I saw a huge cockroach, which scared me to death. The room hygiene is acceptable. There is a public walkway outside the balcony, and the shade cloth must be pulled up at all times. I don’t know why the beds in Sydney hotels are too soft, which is not suitable for the elderly.

Super beautiful night view! Convenient travel! Very happy! ! ! ! The restaurant on the ground floor of the hotel is very cost-effective, and you can have a pretty good meal for just a few dozen yuan. In addition, it’s so nice to look out the window at night🎑

I had high expectations of Capella Sydney after staying multiple times at Capella Bangkok and being treated as though I were the most important person in the hotel, just like all of the other guest who stay there are. The attention to service detail at Sydney location unfortunately failed very short to meet my expectations. The booking process on the website was glitchy and the pricing was inconsistent, sometimes showing pricing including tax sometimes not without indication and only upon receiving confirmation via email from reservations was the price confirmed, which did not match the screenshots of the reservation when I placed the booking so I had to go back and forth with reservations via phone and email to simply confirm the accurate pricing for my stay. After creating an account to log on to their booking platform although the option of modifying the booking was offered, the feature did not work on the site, so you had to cancel the booking and book a new booking if you simply wanted to extend by 1 day. This is before I even arrived at the hotel. When I did arrive, it is of course, no small feat that the restoration of this historic building was carried out with the utmost respect for the architecture, from the flooring material to the fenestration and even the internal grand stair way was brilliantly retro-fitted with current code requirements for the handrail in a historically appropriate yet contemporary solution. The hotel does not have many floors, so I encourage anyone to take the stairs to experience the beauty of the restoration work. The recognition of the strong identity of the urban location and sense of place in Sydney’s CBD offers us a promise, an encounter, as the space of the possible. I wish I could say the same about the interior design. There was a real disconnect between the intent of the architecture and that of the interior design. The decoration at best seemed vague, and so for the guest experience, how could one of have a point of view about the effect of the design? The space of the expectant “possible” relationship I was expecting from the simple activity of stepping into Farrer Place’s south entryway marked Department of Agriculture, as local stories interpreting colonial history with ancestral elements of the Eora people by Waayni artist Judy Watso unfolded, or the sense of expansive freedom through the bronze Palazzo doors on Loftus Street into the latent quiet luxury of the grand stair was lost when I was met with the contrasting designs and colours of the lift lobby vestibule axminster carpet and that of the corridor carpet to the guest rooms, able to be seen in the same frame. Although an argument can be made about eclecticism and the use of curating a collection of exceptional vintage and contemporary objects this was not the case here, it read as a mismatched bric-à-brac (to borrow a Victorian word from the building time period that's true meaning in French means ”any old way” or ”at random”). We visited for my father's birthday and expected a lovely lunch but the whole afternoon exceeded our expectations. Kelly seated us and was so delightful and acknowledged the celebration immediately. She gave us the warmest welcome and was so amiable. Service isn't overly pretentious or stuffy, it's friendly and charming. Patrick our sommelier and Chris our waiter gave us equally unparalleled service. The food was next level but it's the service we received that I'd write home about. The recent renovations have been done so tastefully, finally we have an new icon in the city. Thank you Capella team for an unforgettable afternoon. Your team are a true jewel in your hotel's crown.

I stayed at Crown Towers Perth in Sep 2022 and June 2023. I also stayed in Crown Towers Melbourne in Dec 2022. Thus, the next logical move is to stay in Crown Towers Sydney to complete my experience in staying at all 3 Crown Towers Hotel in Australia. I finally did that. Stayed at Crown Towers Sydney from 3 Nov to 8 Nov 2023. Today is 8 Nov 2023 and I will be checking out shortly. I stayed at an opera king room which has views of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Sydney Opera House. The room was very well lit and nice. Just the appropriate size for a sole traveller. I also managed to try most of the restaurants in Crown Towers Sydney except Yoshii Omakase which is so hard to book and Silks. I did not managed to book Yoshii even when it opened for booking. Guess too many people booking. I tried Epicurean for breakfast, dinner at A’Mare, Nobu, Woodcut and Oncore by Clare Smyth. I did not try Silks since being an Asian Chinese, I normally do not eat Chinese food when I go holiday. Got to try other food instead. My favourite restaurant is undoubtedly Oncore where I ordered the 7 course seasonal tasting menu. Superb. Woodcut was also good where I ordered their sirloin steak. Nobu was also nice as it completed my tour of all 3 Nobu in Australia having previously eaten at Nobu Perth and Melbourne when I stayed at Crown Towers there. For Nobu , I ordered the X Haku Omakase which is 5 course. The star of the course was the lobster. Overall I have enjoyed my stay in here. As Sarah Brightman is coming to Sydney in Aug to Oct 2024, I have already booked my tickets to watch her performance at Sydney Opera House in Sep 2024 and also booked a 4 night stay at Crown Towers Sydney again. For the future, I do hope Crown Towers Sydney can have a Crystal Club for breakfast like what Perth and Melbourne has. Also, hope to see more shops/entertainment areas at Crown and also a provision/gift/snack shop here at Crown Towers Sydney.

Just want to give a heads up of our experience. 1. Arrival - The traffic was banked down the road due to One of Sydney's biggest hotels only having 1 active drop off lane when arriving and one lane each way on the road. Took about 15-20 mins from where we first stopped, to getting out of the car. 2. For some reason the check in process took about 15 minutes. I don't understand why when they have all your information and credit card details in the booking, you have to go though the entire process upon check in again? 3. We arrived early at about 12.30, checked in and went for lunch to wait for our rooms to be ready. They advised our bags would be in the rooms. When we got our message and went to pick up keys and go to room, no bags. I called reception who said they would be up asap. 20 minutes later I went to reception and asked to have my bags. They couldn't give them to me but said they would be right up. After another 20 minutes I called down again, to which I was told the bags were in transit. 4. The deal we had purchased included a bottle of ”French Champagne”, only to have a bottle of prosecco delivered. When my wife enquired about this, they said they would swap it out. A few hours later my wife enquired again, only to be told they were out of champagne! (Not likely) I'm not someone who would complain but there were a couple of other minor things and while I'd normally let it go, when they ask you to pay top dollar, you expect to get top service. I should say that the rooms and pool area are excellent but we will be heading to the W for our next stay.

This is an experience!!! The room was perfect and large and comfortable. We did animal view room with a great Koala just feet from us. So cool. The tour of the sanctuary was so fun and the perfect length in time. Having continual access to the zoo was great and we did sections a little at a time as we were coming and going. The breakfast was really nice for an included breakfast. The views are excellent. Utilizing the bus and ferry to go back and forth to Sydney was simple and easy. I don't know if we will make it back to Sydney, but if we do, we will absolutely be staying here again.

Staying one night at the animal view room including a tour in the mini zoo for only hotel guests , breakfast is good . But night tour is not worth the $20 . Your can enter the zoo before or after check out . Staff is friendly and helpful . Me n Mum enjoy our stay , do support them coz the money you spend goes to the animals too . Room is clean, no weird smell . animals is healthy and clean, very well taken care you can see. Open the window U can see the kola bear jumping tree to tree SO CUTE!!!

I first stayed at Sydney Hilton in 2006 and the quality is still of that high standard after many years. It’s always great to meet good people, I always look forward to be welcomed by reception staff. On this occasion, Alisa was exceptional. When I asked for a specific room, which was unavailable, Alisa offered a room upgrade, which came with executive lounge access. This was greatly appreciated, as the Lounge on the 36th floor is one of the highlights of staying at the Hilton. It really did make my stay much more memorable. Well done to reception staff, and Alisa particularly. Good job. Darren

The security access using the room key card with the elevators made me feel very safe. High speed elevators very smooth and fast. Suite was spacious as advertised. High elevation suite worth the extra cost. The view makes just being in your room an event. Coffee machine with espresso pods, sugar, and fresh cream in the fridge tasted great. Full kitchen amenities and washer dryer definitely a bonus.

Really beautiful hotel. The rooms are spacious and clean, the lobby bar is lovely and the little touches like bottles of water and big, fluffy bath sheets instead of tiny hotel towels makes for a very comfortable stay.

I've never stepped foot in a room for more than $800 with dark curtains surrounding the room, compared to other hotels with cool sunlight and air conditioning. I didn't get breakfast because the waiter refused when I was travelling with the hotel slippers and because my feet hurt not wearing my clogs. Bad and won't be came back!

What a relieve when I checked into the Radisson Blu Plaza Sydney! Had a total rip-off by the Sydney Harbour Marriott two blocks away. Marriott is 3-star pretending to be a 5-star. Radisson is a 5-star presenting like a 5-star. Radisson is miles ahead in every aspects compared to the Marriott, Room amenities are so much better, newer and modern, and breakfast is way better too! Bathroom with a tub is a joy compared to the Marriott that don’t even have a door separating the shower.

4 night stay for Vivid. Chose this as an Accor member and that it was close to the Harbour. Upgraded to a Prestige Suite, Club benefits and was not disappointed. Yes the building is not new, it’s not like the shiny new hotels in town, but it’s solid and my sleeps were uninterrupted and rarely heard noise from the hall. My Suite 930 was spacious, clean, well appointed, Sofitel Bed topper and electric sockets to plug in my adapters to charge. Like other reviews no USB ports but I’m sure most sensible travellers have an adapter. The Club Sofitel access was the perfect addition. Early check-in and waited with a hot tea while my suite was made up. It was 9:30am but the room was rushed and 30 minutes later I was unpacking. Evening canapés and drinks from 5:30pm. Table drink service by Alley and her dedicated, personable, attentive team. They remember your preferences pretty quickly and it became an oasis from Vivid hoping and sightseeing. My suite completely blocked out the light and slept through 2 alarms, it’s the Sofitel Bed topper. Breakfast at Club Sofitel, peaceful, plenty of options to choose from, salmon and capers to a great gluten free station, eggs cooked to order and a great way to start the day. Try the Dilmah Blood Orange and Eucalyptus tea. Thanks Lara. Afternoon Tea served from 2:30 and daily sandwiches , scones, cakes and complimentary drinks, tea, coffee and soft. On entering the Club Lounge, always a friendly greeting, your preferred drink served and a relaxing space anytime of the day. The Club team really made my stay, they work really hard to make your stay great. Housekeeping always made up my room before my afternoon return. Always a Bonjour as you walked past them in the hall. My stay was great. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The Lobby is grand and the history of this hotel makes her great. Not the newest but I prefer tradition and good honest service. Definitely not the style of hotel for everyone but my expectations were met and exceeded beyond imagination. Club Sofitel is a must. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I organised a group get together of 74+ year olds. A reunion 50 years after medical school graduation. Everyone was so happy. The GM Klaus was very corporative in arranging a 'gala' dinner for us in a separate room. The desk staff courteous and helpful. The rooms were small - but very elegantly designed. The lighting subtle and pleasant. Beds comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. THANK YOU

I chosed to stay in this hotel because of its location. I want to be close to the Canley Vale area plus I'm an Accor member so this hotel was the best fit for searches. I was really impressed. I arrived 2 hours early for check up but I was pleasant surprised that .t room and key was all ready to go. The lady at the reception was fantastic she gave me a clear run down of all the facilities and directions. I had a suite and that was outstanding. Had a lounge area, well equipped kitchen, bathtub in bathroom, nice balcony overlooking the pool and a nearby cricket ground. The bed was great nice firm mattress. A very small bad mark with the electronic blackout curtains. I learned how to use it easily but there positions were not totally tight to the end so light was getting in early in the morning. I had breakfasts included and that was great with excellent selections of food. It is right next to the Liverpool Catholic Club so just need a temp pass and you can enjoy the restaurants there and looks like there was a big playground for kids inside. Outside there is a sports building with an ice rink and mini golf. I dont have my kids with me for this trip but I can see they will be very busy if they come here. Parking is free either right outside the hotel uncovered or a little bit further undercover at the Catholic club. All free. The staff was generally well mannered apart from a man on Day 2 at the reception who probably was having a bad day. Special mention to my fellow kiwi from Huntly who looked after me outside the club entrance we had a warm catch up about NZ where I'm from. Check out was super quick and I was well looked after. Overall, if I want to stay around the Liverpool area I would definitely return here again.

Generally not recommended and will not live here again Advantages: Convenient location, about 6 minutes walk to trim station Disadvantages: There is a problem with the communication between the employees. There was a request the night before the check out. The check out was delayed to 12 o'clock. The employee said yes, but the phone was woken at 10:15 the next morning to wake us up, and the door was opened directly. Privacy is also impolite. He also said that he would check out at 11:30 at the latest and add money at 12 o'clock. In addition, we chose a water curtain room, so there is a jacuzzi, but it is much smaller than the picture, and it will also leak underneath. Good rates to stay in the heart of the Sydney CBD. Special offer for paying in cash, otherwise the normal charge for using credit card. Located near Town Hall and Queen Victoria Building with easy access to shops, restaurants and transport. Compact Queen Room was small but had the main requirements if you are only staying in the room to sleep and out all day - comfy large bed, TV on the wall, small desk and chair, air con, free wi-fi, small room safe, small fridge and coffee/tea facilities, blackout curtains, regular and nice rain shower fittings. Soap and wall dispensers of shampoo and body wash provided, but other amenities like hair conditioner, iron and iron board or dental kit can be requested from Guest Services (sign with list in the elevator). Friendly staff. Reception closed in the early hours but just use access card. A few negatives. My room was located facing the nearby wall of the building next door (so no view). I requested a view (if possible) but was informed there were no views for my room. I don't think hotels realise how any outlook can make a big difference for some guests to enjoy their stay. If I book again I would check first if a room facing the street was available. Worse and disturbing for me though was the constant humming noise and sometimes slight vibration caused by the air ventilation shafts outside my window (one quite close and attached to the outside wall). It also took a couple of days and some confusion before I received a make up room/do not disturb door sign. Many hotels these days take this lightly and are very casual about such arrangements, but some guests are more comfortable having this sign. Very minor was the cold water barely ran in the bathroom basin which was a little convenient at times. There was a TV entertainment lounge nook in the corridor outside my room which was not used during my stay but I would find that disturbing if it had been. Overall a pleasant stay but check out the different types of rooms available.

Overall room was clean, however the USB port in the bedroom did not work, the alarm clock was not set and had an extremely annoying buzz, resulting in I had to unplug it anyway. The directions to the parking was extremely poor, no mention of a lift being used or what to expect. I suggested a flyer could be done to answer any questions for customers needing to use the car park service. There was little to no engagement of the staff about this and were only able to restate the poor information that was already given. I felt like a number and not a paying customer. It would seem your attention to details is lacking, and this would flow down from management to floor staff.

Corona benefited me as a six room dorm only had three beds available due to social distancing and the prices were cheaper than last time I went. Also I was the only one in the room the three nights I was there so like a private room for dormitory prices. The 1800 number was free and the ease of booking and the promptness of confirming it by email was excellent service. The staff were very friendly and all you had to remember was the code to get into the room. The showers and toilets were clean and eating area was clean with people always cleaning it. Other people in the place were friendly also. In fact that is why I go back all the time. It is also central to the city. You did not need t pay by visa on the phone wither and I paid when I got there just in case with all these sudden lock downs I could not go. The only down side was that I did not get a ride to the station and was drenched when I got there even though I had an umbrella. It was good time to go though as big floods the next week.

When you exit the hotel, you face a small road and cross the bridge for 2 minutes to Darling Harbor. Turn left and walk uphill for 5 minutes to the QVB subway. The room is clean and tidy, and the bed is very comfortable. The one-bedroom suite has a small kitchen with stove, pots, bowls, etc. They all have a special feeling of being at home. The service attitude of the hotel staff is very good. The self-service coffee bar in the lobby is very considerate. Some rooms are currently being renovated, but others are in good condition.
