Overlooking the 9th tee box on the golf course with south beach access #9 on the other side of the house just across the street.Tern Back Time is Located on the secluded Bald Head Island with no cars (golf carts only), and a nature preserve, it is an ideal getaway. The home is minutes from the marina/harbour, BHI Club and a beach access #9 on the western side by the Cape Fear River. Located on a cul-de-sac, it is a quiet location, great for little ones who want to practice their bike riding skills!You can see our proximity to the beach on the aerial photo. (Our favorite beach accesses for kids and swimming are also not far away, on the southern side near the BHIC) This website gives a great breakdown of your beach options! http://rentals.coastalurge.com...Ride over on the pedestrian ferry and you will feel immediately relaxed as you get off at Bald Head Island and board a tram to "Tern Back Time". 4 bedrooms and 3 baths with 3 porches, this property has it all for your family with an open concept with bedrooms on the other end of the house!Here are a few of the updates recently completed in the home:• Brand New Flooring• An updated kitchen with new appliances, new cabinets and quartz counters!• A fully stocked kitchen with new pots, pans, plates, platters, etc.• Opened wall to create a walk through kitchen• Extensive landscaping removal of vines and growth• Fresh paint throughout• All new furniture!• New bathroom vanities with quartz countertops• All new lighting• New artwork and décor•. Designed and built for large multigenerational family vacations, special occasions, corporate retreats, and reunions. Five bedrooms have a king bed, 43-55in. smart TV, private tiled and granite bathroom, bathrooms with rain can shower heads and some with body jets, all have access to a screen porch. The BHI and Shoal's Clubs are optional with the rental of our home."A Shore Thing Too" is the sister property of "A Shore Thing BHI". The two homes are neighboring, the backs of the properties face each other across the alleyway built for families/friends and groups that require two homes in the same vicinity. What fun for two families or groups to play corn hole in the alley or walk across the alley to visit! We designed, along with our Architect and the BHI Architectural Review Board a home that exudes calm. We created serenity with an abundance of natural light, a relaxing coastal color palette, cozy bedrooms with private full baths and access to generous outdoor space, open concept main living area, natural elements, functional design, reverse floor plan, comfortable custom Amish furniture, shiplap throughout, all custom cabinetry kitchen/ bathroom vanities and laundry room, beautiful leathered Negresco granite in the kitchen, rustic, random width hardwood floors, custom interior shutters in the bedrooms/bathrooms and high wooden ceilings. The outdoor spaces are furnished with comfortable and durable Polywood Furniture that coordinates seamlessly with TRex decking.For your transportation needs we provide 4 six passenger, identical, 2021 Club Car golf carts with HP motors. Welcome to “Fish N’ Chips”! A beautifully updated, charming 4 BR cedar shake beach home in the Summers Crescent neighborhood of Cape Fear Station near East Beach. Sleeps up to 6 adults, 2 children (2 King beds, 1 Queen bed, Twin bunk). One 6 seater golf cart. Less than 2 minutes by golf cart to the favored East beach. Renovated in early 2022 - new furniture, new paint, new hardwood floors in all bedrooms, and quartz countertops throughout. Bright and airy reverse floor plan with vaulted ceilings over a spacious kitchen, sunny eating area, and living room. Two king bedrooms and two full bathrooms, as well as a kids’ bunk room with twin bunkbed, are located in the main house. The lower level king bedroom adjoins the bunk room through a sliding barn door, perfect for families with children. It has an en suite full bath with walk-in shower. The upper level king bedroom is adjacent to a full bath with shower over tub. Off the large side deck is a boardwalk to a quaint, private guest cottage with queen bed, full bathroom, TV and mini-fridge/Keurig. There is a full-sized laundry room in the main house. You can enjoy sitting out on the private side or front deck, listening to the sounds of the ocean. There is a charcoal grill on the deck for evening cookouts. One 6-seater golf cart, surfboard and stand up paddle board are available for your use. There are a few bicycles that are in "as is" condition. Guests are welcome to use the bicycles we have, or can choose to rent their own on the island from one of the rental shops. Around the back of the home is a spacious outdoor shower. Beach towels and chairs are provided. Our home is just a 2 minute walk to the Turtle Conservancy, Mike’s Bites and the community park. Ocean-front Shoals Club guest memberships are available for purchase. Shoals Club pools, restaurants, fitness center, and beach accesses are just a 1 minute golf cart ride away!Fish N’ Chips is a no-pets and no-smoking home. We also own “Not On Call”, a quaint, two BR cottage located a few homes down on the same street from “Fish N’ Chips” - perfect if you are looking for a nearby home for friends or family.BHI also offers historical tours, kayak rentals, bicycle rentals, guided fishing trips, turtle conservancy, nature trails, shopping, crabbing, etc. So much to enjoy, whether visiting in the midst of summer or in the off-season.PLEASE NOTE- Hurricane Policy: If the local Government orders a mandatory evacuation for Bald Head Island AND you don’t stay at our home, you will receive a full refund for the nights the evacuation order is in place.
