Out of a perfect six, I'd definitely give it a six. 1. The guy at the front desk was very professional and friendly. Unfortunately, I forgot to ask his name, but he's in my picture! He made us feel right at home. Although the Park Hyatt Milan we stayed at was also very good a few days ago, the service at this hotel felt even more like home. 2. The room was incredibly new and clean, and the bedding was very comfortable. The complimentary fruit and turndown service were excellent. They even refilled our bottle of water when they saw we finished it! 3. The restaurant in the hotel lobby is absolutely delicious! The chef is the same as at the Michelin-starred restaurant. If you're looking for great taste and value, the lobby is the place to be. 4. If I ever return to Florence, I'll definitely stay a few more nights at this hotel!

Overall it's average, not cost-effective. There is no indoor swimming pool, the location is a bit far from the city center, there is a shuttle bus, one way takes 15-20 minutes.

The La Gemma is a wonderful place to stay in Florence. Staff was very helpful & gave us a nice upgrade when we checked in for our second stay there. They also put a bottle of chilled champagne in our room to celebrate my birthday. Also enjoyed the lovely spa & rooftop outdoor lounge area with amazing views of the city. Will definitely stay there again.

I booked a river view suite, and there is a balcony in the picture. The room I stayed in did not have a balcony. The front desk said that they need to call in advance to confirm that there are not many rooms with balconies. It is recommended that Ctrip make it clear on the page. The location of the hotel is good, the bathroom and supplies in the room are only four-star level, and the lobby is a bit special. Few choices for breakfast, four-star quality

Next to the old bridge in Florence, 403 river view suite, the living room and bedroom have floor-to-ceiling windows facing the Arno River, the location is good and the scenery is good, but the heating is not too hot. On the third day, we were upgraded to the larger family river view suite 405 next door, with a dining room for six people and two bathrooms, which is even better👍🏻 The hotel breakfast is also very rich. recommend!

这家酒店可以说是超级完美。但是美中不足的是由于我跟我朋友一起去的酒店，那个酒店前台可以说是直接忽略我，然后给我分配了一个最小最小的房间，这让我不是很高兴，毕竟酒店钱也不便宜。我朋友跟我定的同一个房型。I mean during the check in the entire time, the staff ignored me the entire time, I understand he knows I was with my friends, but I have my reservation separately, he should handle it by the order, and not just assigned me the smallest room just because I was a single person.I booked the exactly same type of room just like my friends, and their room is twice bigger than mine. And I can only eat breakfast in bed because there was no room to put it. That’s hilarious actually.

Nice location, friendly stuff & helpful, they spent more than half hour exploring the area around and even arranging table for us in a good restaurant nearby the hotel  Loved the room lights behind the bed

The location of the hotel is great. The window of the room I stayed in was on the Arno River, and the old bridge was perfect for taking pictures. The front desk service is very good. The capsule coffee machine is clean and filled with water for the convenience of hotel guests. The breakfast is also good.

The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful throughout. The hotel is centrally located, so ideal for lots of walking to the main sights in Firenze and within a 10 minute walk from the train station. Unfortunately, the room we had didn't have any view apart from some rooftops. However, we were out most of the time enjoying the food, drinks, and sights of the cobbled streets of the town.
