The environment and facilities are complete. Although it can be seen that it is a certain age, the management and operation are still relatively complete. Although there are many restaurants and activities, they all need to be booked in advance, so everyone should be prepared in advance and book the place you like as soon as you arrive, otherwise it will be a pity. We really enjoyed our stay. The food offered a great variety and was always a good choice. The facilities are very spacious, so you don’t feel how many guests are actually staying at the hotel. The beach was excellent — you just need to wake up early to get a front-line beach bed. We loved the continental breakfast available at 6 am; with our jet lag, it was amazing to have such an early option. Most of the guests were middle-aged, kind, and friendly, which created a very pleasant atmosphere. They also have an amazing jungle area with animals, which was very cool. The animals looked healthy and well taken care of, and it was a lovely addition to the experience. However, we didn’t see many staff members who were smiling or particularly willing to help — some were friendlier than others, but a few came across as a bit rude. Overall, we had a very nice experience and would return to this hotel again.

I left the Maya Riviera hotel on the morning of November 14, and when I checked in and left the hotel, I found that I had about 300 dollars less in my wallet. The thing is: I took a taxi to the hotel when I checked in, I paid the fare in cash dollars, so I remember there were a few hundred dollars in my wallet, and the hotel was all inclusive, so I didn't have any cash consumption during my stay. I left the hotel in the morning to go to the airport because I had to take a taxi, I wanted to prepare the dollar cash in advance, and when I opened my wallet I found that there were thirty dollars in the cockroach. During my stay at the hotel, my wallet was in my bag and my bag was on the hotel room table. During this period, the service staff of the hotel cleaning room can enter my room and take the dollars in my wallet. Because I had to catch a plane in the morning, I told the hotel staff that I didn't have time to call the police. Traveling to Mexico still has to pay attention to property and personal safety.

Location is good. It is close to 5th avenue and beach. I loved the resort and nature. It was lovely and cozy. But there were ants in bathroom and straw fell down because of palapa. There's no refrigerator in the room. We enjoyed breakfast and dinner. All of staffs are kind and friendly. Espacially Rogelio was really kind and pleasant.

The hotel is an older hotel. The location is great for access to the beach and walk around 5th Ave. The bartenders and the travel shop/scuba shop were great the hotel maintenance and front desk staff were not the best. We did have issues with our rooms and they were fixed eventually except the king room that we booked was not available and we had to share a double bed. Iit’s an older hotel with musty smells and stuck drawers. The pool closed early on a Saturday night (8pm) but the mariachi/karaoke can play until 11pm and the noise will carry into the room. The kelp on the beach is filled with sand fleas and we came home with over 100 sand flea bites between the 5 of us. The buffet was ok but not worth $45 per day per person.

Location is great. Checkin was easy. Rooms are spacious with a little kitchenette (stove cooktop & microwave) but there’s no dishes or utensils to cook. Decent coffee/tea setup. Nice robes. Medium sized fridge with freezer section. City view rooms do not have balconies and face street with view of ice cream shop and laundromat. Pool is warm & pool towels available. 1 block from the busy street and 2 blocks from beach. There’s a bar with a pool table, foosball, and darts where happy hour was offered for an hour daily. BREAKFAST WAS NOT WORTH WAKING EARLY FOR. Very limited options and was cold. Also after checking our reservation at the breakfast restaurant they were insisting we pay for it when we paid for it with the reservation. Also felt the breakfast staff were a bit rude when I tried asking for details on the station others were lining up for reminding me of things that were included or not.

The room is large, clean, warm and comfortable, the environment is beautiful, the location is particularly convenient, go out is the Fifth Avenue Pedestrian Street, but it is quiet. The service is very good, the food quality is high, the rooftop pool has a good view, the rooftop bar eats and drinks well, the lounge chairs are comfortable, and the umbrellas are beautiful. We had enough of the sea in Cancun and chose this Hilton boutique on Carmen Beach, which was not close to the sea, but five minutes to the beach. Wall crack recommended!

After a horrible night at a nearby hotel, my husband and I moved over to Acanto for a 6 night stay. They let us check in early which we were very grateful for. Our room was lovely, comfy bed and very clean. Right off of 5th Avenue and a block from the beach. Great location and a super friendly staff. I would recommend!
