It's OK, the price is reasonable, the location is good, takeaway can be delivered upstairs, the facilities are a bit old, the decoration of the old Soviet hotel, warm and comfortable, there is a souvenir shop downstairs, the front desk speaks fluent English

We stayed at the Hilton Tashkent City and were extremely satisfied. The hotel fully met our expectations. The rooms were spacious, clean, and modern, with a very comfortable bed, excellent housekeeping, and beautiful interior design.
We especially want to highlight the staff — everyone was very friendly, polite, and always ready to help. Check-in was quick, and the service throughout our stay was top-notch.
The breakfasts were varied and delicious, with a wide selection of dishes. The hotel's location is also excellent — close to a park, restaurants, and the city's main attractions.

This is the second time this summer I have stayed at this hotel and everything about it is excellent. From the reception area and the greeting I received to the room, restaurant and many other amenities. The staff around the reception area were always ready to help and very attentive in particular Doniyor who really made me feel that he was genuinely interested in making sure my stay was as pleasant as possible. The room was, just like the last time, spotlessly clean with a very comfortable with an excellent shower. A cheap and efficient laundry service is available. The breakfast buffet was first class with an excellent selection of food. I also ate lunch and dinner in the hotel and the restaurant food was wonderful. I ate all meals at the hotel over my two stays and I highly recommend it. Again the restaurant staff and in particular Elbek were very efficient and food recommendations were spot on. The hotel also offers a very well equipped gym, a sauna, steam room and pool free of charge for guests with a payable spa massage on request. I want to give a special mention to Malika, the young girl who owns small shop in the reception area selling beautiful hand made jewelry, rugs, scarves and other items. Almost everything is hand made and that which is not she clearly points it out. It is all very reasonably priced and I was very happy to buy several items from her. I had an excellent stay at this hotel and would thoroughly recommend Swissotel Tashkent.
Finally if you are considering using Tashkent only as a stopover I would really recommend at least two nights and one full day as there are plenty of things to do including the metro stations, an outdoor train museum which was excellent, bazaars, a wonderful mosque and go take pictures of the Soviet-built Uzbekistan Hotel built in the Soviet Brutalist style with an Asian influence, absolutely beautiful and very different to the architecture found it Khiva etc. So I would advise, stay in Tashkent either at the start or end of your trip or both as I did and stay at the Swissotel. A great hotel with excellent service. Rooftop pool has great vibes, sauna, ice room and steam room are great too. Gym is of sufficient standard with enough equipment but not outstanding. Razors and toothpaste in the rooms wasn’t the best but I can’t fault anything with my stay. Staff were great, environment and atmosphere was good. They went above and beyond particularly in allowing us an early check in after a 13 hour overnight bus from Tashkent. Highly Recommend staying hereFromAU$210

This was my third stay at this hotel. I was in room 616. I had a good room with a large sink and good bathroom. The room was very hot on the third night and the air con struggled as it was just too hot. It reached 45 degrees today so hot everywhere. The lobby area is cool and there is cold water to drink so you can stay cool. What I liked the most about this hotel is the centrality of it, you can get everywhere on the tube and lots of museums are close by. The centrality park in the square is lovely to sit and enjoy the city and take a picnic. I’ve been pretty detailed in my previous posts so you can view the images and suggested ideas for visits. The hotel had a lot of groups in while I was visiting. The breakfast areas were very busy in the morning but the hotel itself is very quiet and I had a great nights sleep on my whole stay. The staff are very helpful and considerate. They have a very good and safe left luggage which I used on my final day. I really enjoyed the cosmopolitan feel of this city hotel and I would definitely stay again next time I visit Tashkent! I’m uploading some images of the lobby and the markets I visited today. Good hotel, about 15 minutes from the airport. The staff are kind and helpful. The breakfast was pretty good with a decent variety. Excellent value for money. There's a small supermarket not too far away. Convenient if you want to be close to the airport. You can take a taxi or use Yandex to get to Tashkent city center, which is about 35-45 minutes depending on your destination. The hotel has an indoor pool and a small gym. The hotel is conveniently located near the airport and North Railway Station, just a taxi ride away. There isn't a subway station nearby; the closest one would be at the railway station, about a 30-minute walk. The rooms are quite spacious, and the hotel was fully booked on the day I checked in (even during the local off-peak season), indicating high occupancy. Among all the hotels I stayed at in Uzbekistan, this one had the most comfortable room temperature, and the bedding was very pleasant. This hotel definitely deserves high praise for its food and rooms! The breakfasts here are simply amazing.
The rooms are excellent: spacious, clean, stylish, and I slept wonderfully.
However, there's one drawback right now – the hotel is undergoing renovations, which, unfortunately, causes some inconvenience: noise and closed-off areas. But it's clear that the work is extensive and for the better. We're eagerly awaiting the end of the renovation to finally experience the opening of the swimming pool – that will be a fantastic bonus.
And I hope that after the pool, the gym will also be spruced up, because right now it clearly pales in comparison to the other fantastic areas. If all of this is completed, the hotel will be absolutely perfect. I'll definitely return once everything is finished!FromAU$219

This hotel is well-rounded in all aspects, and I'm generally very satisfied. The front desk staff speak good English, making communication smooth. There's also a 24-hour bar with drinks available, and free dried fruit snacks. The breakfast is generally good, with items changing daily. On weekdays, it's served until 12 PM, which is very considerate of guests' needs. The staff are also very diligent in clearing plates, sometimes a bit too eager, as they might take away a plate I've just used. The hotel is right next to a KFC and close to a university, so there are plenty of dining options nearby. The room size is appropriate, and the layout is reasonable. The hotel is quite large, and while the room layout is a bit unusual, it's spacious enough. A pleasant surprise was the big, well-equipped gym, and another was the excellent breakfast, especially the incredibly delicious meat patty. On the day of check-out, I had to leave early to catch a train, and the front desk thoughtfully packed two large bags of breakfast for me, which I really appreciated.
The location is a bit out of the way, and there don't seem to be any convenient subway stations nearby. There's also not much to do at night. However, Tashkent isn't that big, and taxis are cheap, so it wasn't a major issue.FromAU$133
