Coral Loft is a stunning 5-bedroom oceanfront villa nestled in the picturesque in the Cayman Kai neighborhood, a mile from the renowned RUM POINT Beach Club and 2 miles from STARFISH POINT.

This exceptional property has been available for short-term rentals for more than six years and boasts a flawless 10/10 rating on VRBO, with 51 families having stayed at the original 4-bedroom home (listing # 1478025). To accommodate larger groups, we added a fifth bedroom last year creating this new listing.

The newly added fifth bedroom is attached to the main house but features a private entrance accessible only from the outside. It includes its own bathroom, air conditioning, smart TV, and a mini fridge. This bedroom is only available when booking the full 5-bedroom villa.

Our beach changes with the tides and weather, so it may look different than the photos.
In summer you may see turtle grass wash up; winds and currents can leave a line of brown leaves along the shore as the plants shed.
We rake our beach weekly and remove dry grass by hand. To protect turtle nesting, local regulations limit use of heavy machinery to clear wet seaweed; if the accumulation becomes excessive, we will increase cleanings and recommend nearby alternative beaches within two miles.

The Grandest of views from this second floor, beach front, corner unit with views of the ocean and Grandview pool. Unit was recently renovated with new furniture throughout. The complex is walking distance to great restaurants and bars. Kitchen has everything you need to cook or use one of the two on-site BBQ grills. Cooler is in the unit to bring food and drinks to the beach. Family friendly unit and complex.

While certain properties on Seven Mile Beach have experienced beach erosion over the last couple of years, our property's beach is protected by ironshore which limits erosion. We have not experienced the erosion that other properties have and have a great sandy beach with plenty of beach chairs and natural shade from trees for your enjoyment. Easy access to swim or play in the the ocean from the sandy cove on the right side (looking towards the ocean) of the complex. The complex has 69 units for which around 20 of the units are used for vacation rentals and the rest are used by owners or long-term renters for people who live in Cayman year-round. As such, guests typically have no issues accessing chairs/loungers on the beach or pool deck as the majority of units are used by people that live in the complex and therefore do not use the pool and beach as often as visitors on vacation would. There should not be a need to claim your beach chair for the day as you may feel you need to at other resorts.

As parents to a young toddler we know the struggles in finding appropriate sleeping arrangements for very young children. With this in mind we have 3 options available for young children to sleep in:

When booking please let us know which of these options you would like available and we will ensure they are in the unit for your arrival. We also have 2 highchairs available.

Currently only accepting bookings with check-in and check-out on Saturdays. If you are looking to book where either your check-in or check-out date would not be on a Saturday, please send me a booking request for your dates and we can see what can be done to accommodate your request. Depending upon the number of nights requested we may be able to accommodate with a higher average rate per night of your stay compared to the current advertised rates. We may have more flexibility for these requests depending on the time of year and requested length of stay (e.g. outside of peak season and for 11 days or more).

Bathroom and beach towels are included with the rental. The unit includes a washer and dryer with laundry detergent to be used for laundry during the stay.

There is no house keeping services included in the rental as the unit will be cleaned before and after each guest visit. The unit is on the second floor and there are no elevators at the Grandview.

Hurricane Cancellation Policy

Pre-Arrival: If a hurricane watch or warning is issued by the Cayman Islands Government within five days of your scheduled arrival, you may cancel your stay without any penalty fees.

Crescent Beach has received the 2017/18 Certificates of Excellence and has never received a rating of less than 5 stars from our guests. SAND is a home away from home - a 2100 sq.ft. ground floor apartment built in 2015 with 3 bed/bath with bedrooms 2 and 3 being convertible to either KING or 2 x TWIN beds, open living, dining and kitchen area with superb beach and sea views. Perfect for families who like quiet, remote living but with many amenities within 30 minutes driving. A second apartment, SKY, is on the upper floor and offers similar amenities. The interior is modern, tastefully decorated and well equipped for cooking and entertainment. Kitchen appliances include gas stove, microwave, double door fridge/freezer, dish washer, combo washing machine/dryer. All lighting within both SAND and SKY is LED and high efficiency central air units are easily controlled from a simple thermostat. Doors are equipped with "open" detectors which will switch off the air conditioning if a patio door is left open. Our goal has been to try to conserve energy and use it efficiently for the comfort of our guests. Master bedroom features king bed, second and third bedroom features Twin beds which can be converted to King. cots are available on request.

There is a pool, courtyard with barbecue and eating facility. The Games room is equipped with pool table; table tennis and dart board.

The home theatre is comfortably equipped with bean bags and chairs. There is a large selection of DVDs.

Situated in a protected zone, the coral beach is a turtle nesting site and opens onto a 200 x100 yard bay with living coral and a low-lying reef about 100 yards out. Typically, more than 500 baby turtles leave the beach for the Caribbean Sea every year. Many of our guests have witnessed hand release by us of turtles which were left behind in the nest. The coral beach has both sandy and rocky features which vary as wind and wave direction shift. Off the beach is the best snorkeling to be found close to the shore in Grand Cayman.

A variety of top local restaurants are within 10 minutes driving and one of Cayman's best diver operations is just 5 minutes away.

SAND being at ground level features direct access to the beach from the patio. SKY is very elevated with the front patio facing open countryside and the ocean-facing balcony being each 15 feet high and tempered safety glass balusters form the railings to ensure a superb view of the ocean and reef even from inside the apartment.

For larger families or for special events such as weddings or family reunions, Sand and Sky together provide six bedrooms in total for a maximum party of 12 persons.
