Lots of space, two separate bathrooms, 4 bedrooms. Riga Old City Kramu Street apartment is a stunning 140 m2 property located in the very center of Riga Old Town. You are welcome to use wireless internet and Tv free of charge. The apartment is fully equipped with everything necessary for short or longer stays. Kitchen is equipped with electric hob, microwave, pots, pans, plates, cups etc. The apartment can accommodate up to 10 persons or minimum of 3 persons. I usually give space to my guests, so that they feel comfortable and just like at home, but if necessary am available by phone, text, email or WhatsApp. The apartment is in the center of Riga Old Town. It is the heart of Riga with many different pubs, bars, restaurants, museums, tourist attractions etc. all within few minutes walking distance from the apartment. I can’t imagine better location for tourists to stay at when visiting Riga. Most of the tourist attractions are within walking distance from the apartment. But should you wish to go further away from the city center I would suggest to use taxi as it is fastest way to travel in Riga and is fairly cheap. If a group of 3 and more are traveling together then taxi would cost the same or even less than using a bus or any other public transport.

Slap bang in the middle of Rīga, everything is walking distance, about 15 minutes tops to either direction and all the art nouveau architecture you could desire! Furthest walk was to the Holy Trinity Church, which you have to go over the bridge, but totally worth it. This hotel is mainly closest to the Orthadox church near a huge park. Breakfast has a variety, even if you're vegan too! Was impressed that you can have plant based milk hot coffees (but machine is very slow and temperamental). Would be nice to have had some vegan sausages, but you won't go hungry. The room I had was lush, very comfortable bedding, just a shame about the view, was facing the inside of the building and carpark. I would say for a 5 star hotel, coffee facilities could have been better, they were very basic, whereas other European 5 star hotels usually have a Nespresso machine or similar. Staff very friendly and accommodating of all hours of day and night!

The Pullman is a very upscale hotel, centrally located in the old town of Riga. Getting here from the airport was easy, and the check-in was smooth. The staff greeted me with a smile and provided tips about Riga. The room was clean, spacious and you could tell its been recently renovated. The Spa facilities left a bit to be desired, with a tiny pool and a sauna that didn't get too hot. Still, the restaraunt in the hotel made up for it with excellent food and service. For the price paid I was blown away. Would definitely stay again.

We booked the hotel because the pictures were very well done and the hotel was centrally located. We were celebrating a special event and wanted a special hotel. Unfortunately, the hotel is showing its age when you look at it. The floor in the room squeaks and the room is smaller than average compared to the standard of a hotel room. Unfortunately, it wasn't really clean and the hotel has a smell that probably comes from the old carpets and furniture. Anyone who goes to this hotel must be a fanatic of old buildings and not expect any comfort! The service was also ”over the top” for the hotel. They pretend to be something they aren't, really unpleasant.

All bath fixtures worked well Two pillows in room 224 may need to be replaced. Breakfast was very delicious.. I recommend this hotel because of its service and just right in the Riga old town. I usually don't bother writing reviews, but this place had quite a few things to complain about. **Location:** It's a bit of a distance from the old town, about a 15-minute walk. However, it's conveniently located right next to a large shopping mall, making shopping and dining very easy. **First, the positives:** The room was quite spacious, just as shown in the pictures. Two complimentary bottles of mineral water were provided. Slippers and toothbrushes were available (though you had to ask the front desk for them). **Now for the downsides:** **Service:** The female front desk staff's English was very poor, making communication a real challenge. The male front desk staff (who also seemed to be working as a bartender) had an unpleasant attitude. **Facilities:** The pillows were absolutely dreadful! The filling felt like lumpy, hard cotton, making it completely impossible to sleep! **Booking & Room Setup:** When I made the booking, I clearly specified 3 adults + 1 child (9 years old). After checking in and getting to our room, we found that the sofa bed hadn't been made up, but instead, they had provided a baby crib. When we contacted the front desk, their response was that ”their booking information indicated there was a small baby in the group.” Even so, is it reasonable to expect three adults to sleep in one bed? They eventually made up the sofa bed, but only provided a single duvet. When we asked the front desk for another duvet or to swap it for a double one, we were told that housekeeping had already left (it was 6 PM at the time), and they had no idea where the blankets were... **Late Checkout:** When I inquired about a late checkout, the front desk staff pretended to check the booking, typing away on the keyboard, only to then say, ”Sorry, we're fully booked.” However, I quickly checked online myself and saw that the same room type was clearly available on Ctrip... In my opinion, a direct 'no' would have been far better than such a disingenuous charade! **Conclusion:** Based on all of this, I won't be choosing this Mercure hotel again for my next visit.

The hotel is well located on the edge of the old town, a few minutes walk from the all old town attractions, excursion pick up points and tourist office. Excellent check in, well appointed room overlooking the river. A higher room would have been preferable, but room facilities excellent. Although accommodation is very reasonably priced, we found the €20 pp charge for use of the spa facilities a little out of kilter. Disappointed and surprised - especially at this time year - that we were not allowed a late checked even at the cost of €15 per hour after 1pm.

An honest review from an British point of view. Location is great, noisy on a weekend if you go to bed before midnight. Beds in the room are very low to the ground with pillows that are awful very lumpy. thin duvets which are ideal in the summer. Breakfast is great. You have to book the Spa if you want to use it at an additional fee 18 euro I believe, I tried three times to say it was full? They admit last customer at 7pm but the Spa is open until 9pm. Over all I would compare the hotel to a Travel Lodge in UK certainly not 4 star high standard. Staff need to learn on how to smile it goes a long way for poor service.
