Our experience at this hotel so far exceeded our expectations! We traveled to Houston with 35 high school students for a robotics competition. The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and accommodate our needs the entire time we were there. If you are looking for a luxury resort, this isn't that, however, the staff may treat you as if it is. The hotel is a little on the basic side, and maybe a little older, but it was clean and provided everything we needed. I can't stress enough how great the management and staff were in helping us have the best stay possible.

’ve already done your survey and wouldn’t recommend your hotel to anyone who is disabled or anyone else for that matter, your employees have a huge attitude about moving their vehicles (black car belonged to your employee) so I could get my paralyzed from the chest down husband up the ramp to the entrance to your “motel” Ive stayed in better Motel 6 establishments, there are two non-ADA compliant ramps to your hotel and there was a black car (your employee’s) parked across the first ramp and a white car parked in front of the hotel where your night employee (black girl, reddish pink colored hair) was having a great time getting together with her friends and not doing her job. When we drove back in after dinner they were all outside(employee and two or three others) and I received a very snotty attitude when I asked her to move her vehicle and her friends to move theirs. If you have disability access rooms then you shouldn’t advertise them, ever, because your employees simply don’t care about how people with disabilities access your hotel to get to their rooms. Typically disability access rooms have doors that are able to be propped open or have an automatically opening door so wheelchair users are able to get into them without running over their wife’s toes as she awkwardly tries to prop open the door. Your bell cart is heavy and exceptionally hard to push or maneuver because apparently Baymont by Wyndham Houston Westchase doesn’t know what W-D 40 is. Your night employee (reddish pink hair, black car) is very rude and doesn’t want to do her job she’d rather party outside with her friends, who were absolutely no doubt in my mind smoking pot. I’m from Washington where it’s legal, I know that smell, your guests aren’t stupid. The room was disgusting and had what looked like blood stains on the carpet, I’m no CSI but it was pretty obvious. Carpet was indeed filthy and not vacuumed, my brand new white socks were black when we left. We didn’t find any bugs but good God what a dump. Unless you intend to improve your access to the entrance of your hotel don’t advertise accessible rooms. Maybe put some money into your motel so it’s not disgusting. Also your rooms look nothing like the pictures you post maybe we should have known based on the “deal” we got and gone for a more expensive option because filthy wasn’t part of the “deal”. We were very disappointed and will tell everyone we know to never stay there. Like another reviewer said if this is your last resort do yourself a favor and strongly consider whether you have absolutely anywhere else you could stay, park and a sleeping bag might be better.

We stayed one night at the Marriott Houston Westchase in a 1 Bedroom Suite, 1 King, Sofa bed, City view. My husband had surgery that day and we spent the day and night camped out in the room. He slept for most of it. I spent it watching tv. For the most part our stay was good but not what I expected from Marriott. Everything was clean and neat. However, I think there are some things that could use attention. (I worked hospitality many years ago, so I apologize if this seems long and nit-picky.) Let's start with the parking. Valet signs everywhere. We waited. no one came out. My husband took his bandaged face into the lobby only to find out there is none. Half the parking lot up front was closed to public parking. He was told to park where the front desk could see it so it would not get tampered with. As I made my way around to park there were some shady characters sitting in a car at the back of the lot near a service entrance. I parked as close as I could to the front. We arrived mid-afternoon (2pm) and did not realize that there was no food service of any kind until dinner. (From 1-4pm!) Not even a snack machine available. There was no menu in the room for room service. Nor was there any number on the phone to dial for room service. So, I went for a food pick up and on my way back, asked the desk for a menu. They pointed out the QR scan code to order. Sorry - but some of us older folks are cell phone challenged. Just give us the room service number on the phone in the room and a menu in there! (Like it used to be.) Plenty of good restaurants near by. Shady characters still in the parking lot. No sign of security patrol. The little corridor off the main one to our room was very dark. A brighter bulb would be better. (Had I been there alone, it would have creeped me out.) The TV in the living space was at an awkward angle from the couch. It made it uncomfortable unless you were sitting sideways. There was only one water bottle in the room and one robe - for 2 people. We called down and quickly received one more of each. The ice bucket top was warped so the ice melted rather quickly. The coffee bar only had 2 sugar packets, plenty of fake sugars and three cream in it. Not really enough for 2 cups of coffee. (Those coffee packets made really weak coffee.) Was also surprised that a Marriott was using plastic glasses instead of real ones. The bed was lumpy. It needs a mattress replacement. Bedding was not anything special. Was also not a fan of the feather pillows - they are flat. Would have preferred 2 regular pillows and 2 feathered. I spent most of the night in the bedroom chair and it was not comfortable. Later that night, I got really hungry and ordered room service. I felt awkward that there was nothing to sign - so I could tip this really nice Asian lady who brought it up. (There was no where on the final bill that I could put a tip for her either. And I didn't have a dime of cash! She must have thought I was a cheapskat

I have to say I had the worst experience ever. I always stay at a LaQuinta when traveling and I read reviews before booking and the reviews were satisfactory. First off the elevators were not working in which they did state on the app, but I informed them ahead of time if possible I needed a lower level room. Well when we checked in they gave a room on the 3rd floor so walking up several flights of stairs wasn’t in my plan. I asked if there was anything else available and they said no. I went ahead and kept the room thankfully my son was able to help me get up and down the stairs. The 3rd floor air in the hallway was not working so it was extremely hot so by the time I got to my room I was exhausted and saw a roach crawling over the outside door. We checked our room and didn’t see any but informed of the issue. First night was ok, the breakfast wasn’t the best. The second night the air in our room wasn’t cooling and we woke up in the middle of the night drenched in sweat so I called several times to the front desk and no answer so I had to walk downstairs and no one was at the counter at all. I attempted to write out a note to leave and eventually someone came and since they didn’t have another room like the one we booked they gave us separate rooms. One of the rooms my daughter saw 2 roaches crawling on the dresser and we had to call back down and have them find us another room. The attendant did and we were able to rest and try to enjoy the rest of our stay. The checkout was the worst I have ever experienced. The attendant was helping a young lady and I assume they didn’t have her info in the system, so about 5 people and myself were waiting in line to check out and she didn’t say not one word to any of us to even say she will be right with us. Then we were gathering all our bags from the room and was rushed out. I was so upset and really didn’t like my experience at this location at all.

The hotel offers great amenities! Front desk and housekeeping staff were kind and courteous. The only draw back from our stay was the front desk manager, Ebonie. I was charged 3 times for the high speed internet but wasn’t given a choice to pick free or high speed because it automatically did it for me. I tried to explain this to her but every time I try to, she would interrupt and say she won’t take off the charges. I really didn’t mind $15 charge, but she could’ve better explained the WiFi situation rather than coming off rude. After I asked for a business card, she then removed two charges which was odd. Everything was great except this experience. I work at a Marriott property and have been to other properties but have not seen a manager act this way towards guest. She definitely needs management training. Other than that great property and staff.

We arrived at the hotel on February 1st. Because of doubts about the tax policy, the front desk replied very well and responded after checking the information repeatedly. Seeing this hotel in this area on Ctrip, I hope that its location is near Chinatown, and the driveway is on the way, no need to turn, no need to turn around, just go right. The health of the hotel is very good and may be related to the hotel. Breakfast is not complicated but nutritious. The indoor environment is clean and tidy, the refrigerator and microwave oven are very good, and the restaurant has boiled water for 24 hours. Overall, it is still good, I will choose again next time, thank you Ctrip.

This Garden Inn was well staffed, operated, and clean. The staff was friendly, took care of my needs, and made for a worry free stay. It’s back off the main road a bit, so it was pretty quiet for being in a big city. The only suggestion I might make was the lack of lighting and signage as you turn off the main road.

Hotel location is very good, in the subway DRYDEN station, 8 minutes from the DRYDEN Metropolitan Museum area three stations, there is a ticket vending machine on the subway platform for 1.25 dollars within three hours. The subway is parallel to the motorway on the road in front of the hotel. It is convenient to use the underground passage. There is a bathtub in the big bed room. The softness and hardness of the bed are suitable. It is suitable for a family of three. I feel comfortable living in the museum area ZAZA!

DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Houston Hobby Airport

It’s an airport hotel, so you expect a shuttle. From the airport, you call the hotel and they send a shuttle (it took a few minutes after I’d called, at 1am). They return to the airport every 15 minutes. Easy. (Definitely easier than a number of other airport hotel shuttles I’ve used.) It’s an airport hotel, so you expect it to be noisy, right? Wrong. I chose a room on the opposite side to the road (use the hotel plan in the app - someone else posted it’s all even room numbers one side and odd the other side, that’s not correct). I didn’t have a view but I heard no noise other than a neighbor’s door slam. No cars, no planes, no nothing. Great sleep. It’s a Hilton, so you know what to expect. It’s not luxury, but you have everything you need - decent bedding, space, coffee maker, the right toiletries. Room was clean and furniture, bathroom etc all seemed fine to me. I had dinner in the bar and breakfast in the breakfast restaurant - all fine, and pretty reasonably priced (especially for an airport hotel). I arrived at 1am to be offered a warm cookie. Loved the idea, sadly I have a nut allergy (thank you for labeling the product clearly as having nuts!) Service was friendly everywhere - the front desk at 1am and other times of day, as well as the bar and restaurant. And the room price was reasonable, especially given it was a last minute booking (for the next night). Did everything via the app - check in, room key, check out, find out breakfast times etc. super easy. Only minor complaint is that the little store next to reception is not very well stocked, and a number of empty spaces indicated they usually stock quite a bit more than was there. That said, if you weren’t too fussy in your chocolate or snack quest, you’d find something. Would stay here again if I needed a hobby airport.

On 2/7/2022 I made a reservation online for a 10 night stay at the Hampton Inn Houston-Katy. On 3/8/2022, I modified the reservation to a one night stay. Upon checking in on 4/13/2022 at around 11 pm, Brenden confirmed that we would only be staying for the one night. On 4/14/2022, we left the hotel. No belonging were left in our room. Since covid, we have been receiving our receipts via email for our records. We left the keys at the hotel and thought nothing was out the norm. I realized that in the afternoon, I had not received my receipt. I checked my credit card statement and saw two charges from Hampton, $207.93 and $1465.84. I contacted customer assistance who directed me straight to the hotel. The manager, Stephanie refuses to refund the money. She called me a ”lier” (her words) and said that when we checked in we directed Brenden to change the reservation to ten days. She also said that belongings were left in the room. I assure you that neither is true. If we were staying 10 days, I would have modified the reservation to make sure we would have a room a head of check in. In stead of just admitting to making an honest mistake, she insulted my integrity and has basically stolen my money for services I never wanted or approved. I have the confirmation to confirm the stay of one night only. There were no belongs left. When I looked at my reservation on my phone on 4/13 it was one night. They deliberated changed it to 10 and are calling me the lier. I assure you that any future stays will be at the Comfort Inn. I want my funds refunded to my card, but I am still waiting on a call back.... not holding my breath. They seem to manipulate the truth and insult customers.

This is a random hotel in a random location. I booked it because I have had good experiences with the Autograph Collection. It was clean. It was located where they say it is, so shame on me, but there is hardly anything around there. There is a LifeTime gym next door - I assume they get access, which is nice. Check in person was nice. We got upgraded to a larger room, which was great because even that was not very big. Cons: Only decent hotel where I’ve not been offered help with our bags (normally you have to fend off porters if you don’t need them). We pulled up to the $41/day valet at a reasonable hour. We had two large bags with us and nobody even offered to help us wrestle them out of the trunk. When we wheeled them down to check out the valet asked us whether we wanted help getting them in the trunk — well, yeah. That made for a sour start. Water temperature in the shower was really problematic, either really hot or cold, very very hard to modulate. We were not going to mention but management sent us a “how’s things” text and we mentioned it and they fixed it! On Saturday morning there were lots of takeout food bags (obviously trash from dinners ordered the night before) up and down the hall - gross. How hard would that be to pick those up in the middle of the night? Ironically, the nicest guy we met at the hotel was a housekeeping guy who was vacuuming the hall and was delightfully courteous - I wish I’d gotten his name. Bar was understaffed. Sorry, Laura, you won’t see me again.

Like a motel, the room is large, clean, and fully equipped, but because it is close to the highway, there is a car driving overnight. Did not have breakfast, eat a few days each person 12 knives a day, children half price. Self-service, average American breakfast. Not expensive or cheap. It is not convenient to have no car in the United States. So staying here is much cheaper than downtown. Drive to the museum area, follow the morning peak for about 40min-1h, and go to the space center for about 1.2-1.5h. Can be tollway, less than 2.5 knives for each of the 7 seats, not expensive, take the right cash channel, below 20 can be zero. Houston is planning very well, the museum areas are all together, naturally, children are close.

If you need a place to stay while you go to an Astro game the Embassy Suites is in the perfect location. Nice easy walk to Minute Maid Park with lots of places to eat near by. The free breakfast that comes with the room at Embassy Suites was fantastic!! Made to order delicious omelets and a hot food line that is served to you is delicious. Rooms were clean and quiet and the staff were friendly and helpful. The complimentary Happy Hour is a plus too!!

Used to be La Quinta, older property, safe, quiet and an excellent value for a budget friendly blue collar worker. Staff, front desk to housecleaning to maintenance all courteous doing the best with what they have to work with. My scores and ratings are compared to the average La Quinta being a 5 and a backwoods roach motel being a 1. Great for me but wouldn't take my wife to anything less than a 5 rated Laquinta

It was an older building, but was nice. The suites were great with a full kitchen. It was like staying in an apartment. The pool was crystal clear and nice. The spas heater was not working, but it was plenty warm due ti the weather. It had everything that we needed. It was a reasonable price and the staff was friendly and helpful, thanks, Laser!
