All facilities and conditions are very good, the room is slightly smaller and the price is slightly higher. Under the Hafa Bridge, you can make a ferry directly to the city of Hafa, with convenient transportation and parking. It is conveniently located next to Dartmouth's largest bus transfer station.

Hotel location is very good to walk 10 minutes to the harbour pier. Breakfast is buffet. The fully equipped harbour has a beautiful view. The car parked in the underground garage for a fee. There is a farmer’s market near the hotel and breakfast can be eaten at the market.

The room facilities are a bit old-fashioned, and the interior design is relatively classic. I'm still more modern like Hilton. There is indeed a service attitude of the front desk, but the other service staff encountered are particularly good. The parking fee of 29 Canadian dollars a day includes tax, unlimited access, after all, belongs to the city center, the parking fee must be dropped. I found that none of the hotel's windows could be opened, and I could only rely on air conditioning for ventilation. I didn't know why.

From the moment we walked in, it was a major disappointment. Other properties were booked and had no choice but to stay. What struck me most is that there are cameras everywhere - in the hallways, elevators, etc. Have to wonder why. There were barely any staff to greet us, then we were given our room keys and told that we have to use them in the elevator to access our floor. This felt disconcerting right away. The hallways appeared bright and modern, even though there were a few pieces of garbage on the floor. Ok, I thought, this is tolerable. Once we entered our room, though, I was thrown off. Although the property is apparently first opened in 2016, you woudl never know it. The colors of the walls, carpets, linens, couches, etc were tan and brown. The bathroom, while large, was dark. No extra towels, toilet paper rolls, even hair dryer. The carpets were warped, and stained brown in a few places. Just didn't feel comfortable touching anything at this point, but we wanted to get out and visit the city so we took it in stride. After returning, we went down to the pool. Unclean, dirt on the floor, wet hair - just gross! The breakfast was good - lots of food to choose from, the chef kept bringing out fresh options all the time. As we returned and got ready for the night, I went downstairs to reception to see if we could have a different room because we were quite grossed out and uncomfortable. There was only one staff at reception, and she told us everything was sold out so she offered $25 off our rate. I have seen properties that allow dogs, so the unkept and worn out look has nothing to do with allowing pets. On the next morning, we were preparing to leave at 11 am and there was a knock on the door. I opened and a man asked if we were staying another night or we had to leave quickly. He wasn't wearing anything that identified him as staff (not even a name tag). So we headed to the elevators to leave (another issue (another issue - only 2 elevators for 15 floors!) and went down to settle our bill. I asked if we can leave our luggage as our flight was much later in the day and we wanted to tour the town more. The staffperson at the reception told us to wheel them behind her - where they would be left in open view of anyone. Other hotels put them in another room where they are hidden. The agent said ”it's OK, there are cameras” and I insisted they put them in the back office, and she made me feel like this was a very unusual request. I had passed by reception on other occasions and seen nobody there, so I insisted that they put our stuff in the back. Overall, I would never return to this property - or any Hilton for that matter since they share a name. Moreover, what makes no sense is the price too. It was more expensive than better hotels that are better located. This part of Brunswick Street felt a little seedy in fact and is a few more blocks from the harbour than most others.

Very distinctive hotel, very distinctive, with careful decoration and decoration. It's not a luxurious one, but a romantic atmosphere that has always been rustic. The decoration is in place. The breakfast is excellent, the food is very rich, and the breakfast restaurant decoration and utensils are very unique. The beds are comfortable, free parking is provided, and the location is not bad.

This hotel is in a great location as it is close to the waterfront, nice local restaurants and other attractions. The room was designed well and we were generally pleased. That is where the compliments end. A couple of small observations: one of the people in my travelling group did not have an ironing board in their room; the bed was slightly sunken in, in the middle; the hook was missing from the back of the bathroom door so I no where to hang my toiletry bag or anything else. And believe it or not, it is important to have a luggage rack available. The big issue, as the previous reviews stated, was the broken air conditioning and that made for a very uncomfortable and stuffy room. The tiny fan provided by the hotel was not very helpful either. The sign on the door stating ”they were working on the air conditioner,” however, we were told that it had been broken for months! Now, I understand that the temperature is cooler in Canada, but that does not make up for a stuffy room. Also, what is taking the hotel so long to fix the problem? Money? That is probably the case, but I wonder if it's because they are too cheap to spend the amount necessary to complete the repairs. This is June and it's only going to get warmer. It is unfortunate that I am unable to recommend the Hollis to anyone until they fix this issue.

Our trip from the moment we arrived was perfect. I’ve never seen a whole hotel’s staff so friendly! The room is beautifully done, we had an amazing view of Citadel Hill, very comfy bed, in-room Nespresso, plush towels - an absolute treat. We had a fantastic meal at Chopped too. We loved it so much we’ve cancelled our upcoming reservation at a nearby hotel for March Break and are returning to the Sutton Place.

The most satisfying thing is breakfast, and finally there are scrambled eggs instead of just boiled eggs. The front desk is very good, the front of the door is the lake, it is a great pleasure to have time to sit and enjoy the scenery. Moreover, this is the only hotel in our entire Canadian itinerary that does not require a deposit, and it feels good to be trusted. recommend!

From telling it, approaching Halifax, it takes about half an hour to get to the hotel, and you have to pay 4+1 yuan for the entrance and exit! The hotel environment is very good, the beautiful chocolate lake outside the window! Breakfast for children is free, the variety is quite rich, and dogs can also stay! Free parking! Stayed for two days and the cleaning was very clean! Recommended!

The location is not far from the city center, it is very convenient to go, the hotel facilities are very complete, the gym, the swimming pool are all, the room is big enough, there is a refrigerator, microwave oven, stronger than the hotel, parking is free, there is free breakfast, sausage, fried Eggs, bacon, bread, snacks, drinks, coffee, very good! There are many award-winning medals in the hall, and the service attitude is also very good. The key point is that the price is also cheap, highly recommended!

I was very satisfied with the double bed for the first time, but this time the single bed was shocked. The toilet is half as big as last time. The soundproofing is also poor, and it doesn't feel like the same hotel as before. Maybe the top floor hasn't been renovated yet. This time the room doesn't deserve 800 RMB at all

I’ve stayed in a lot of IHG properties and I love it when they greeted you with a big “thank you for being a platinum member” this hotel was a total Fail in that department, and also my least favourite hotel. Awful check in experience, the person that checked me in left to see if my room are ready on the 4th floor at 3:50 pm. I always set my preference to an early check in if it’s available. There’s a lot of staff, but they seems to be busy with something else. I find the only personable staff at that hotel was the kitchen personnel. He greeted us with a smile and has a positive attitude even though he was so busy, he made sure the meals are properly stacked, I gotta hand it to him especially on Friday morning when they have 2 busses of kids that are staying in that hotel. He made sure all the tables where cleaned and sanitized for the next patron to enjoy their breakfast. the bathroom needs to be sprayed with bleach as mildew are developing in the bathroom floor, as well as, they need a plumber to unclog the sink, just washing you hand for a few seconds will clog up the sink.

I stayed for a total of six days, the first time I booked 3 days, and the subsequent days increased every day, but the price was different each time (maybe the discount is different). The first price was 750 yuan, and the last price was RMB 1206, the gap is quite large, it is estimated that the earlier you book the price, the better.
