Perfect location - just a 5 mins walk from the hotel to the Batu Bolong beach but what makes it extra great are the staff. Very friendly, attentive and kind. Room is clean and spacious and not dated as some of the reviews mentioned. My fav spot of the hotel has got to be the rooftop pool, offers the best view of Canggu, and away from the crowd. Would come back again to stay here.

There is a lot of construction going on in Canggu at the moment, and so we were not sure what to expect. However we were impressed from the moment we arrived at this hotel. The reception area was eye-catching and welcoming. The staff were pleasant and easy to deal with. We booked an Executive Room which was a good size and had a nice view of the sea from the balcony. The building work going on next door didn't bother us at all. Breakfast buffet was an average selection. One of us has dietary restrictions and staff took time to point out what we could eat, and offered to make things on request. Overall a very good stay.

it's always been my pleasure to stay in this hotel. Explore bali with all the cultural and tourism objects and end up staying over in this hotel was just made my vacation completed. The cleanliness ☆☆☆☆☆ The staff were helpful and super friendly, and what I love the most as a traveler were always getting free room upgrade that always connected to the swimming pool.. Special credit to Phay who's welcoming us like we are part of the hotel family's, One small thing that made huge impact to us was everytime we stayed, I dunno how they always arranged the same room like our previous visit. So it feel like we back to our home in Bali......

It's a great resort. In Bali, just like in Europe, the customer base is basically white people who love surfing. There is only one restaurant but I can't love it. The breakfast is half-baked and à la carte. The creative health is good-looking and delicious. The lunch and dinner menus are different, and the price/performance ratio is OK! The pool is great and the scenery is beautiful

Originally I booked a standard room in the main building, and after checking-in, I was not impressed as the room felt tired and very basic. Fortunately, there was a pool side room available for a reasonable upgrade fee and that room ended up being terrific. We loved the sliding doors that opened to the garden walkways and the outdoor bathroom with tub and shower. Thus my advice is that you book one of the rooms around the pools. Service was very friendly and housekeeping was excellent. The complimentary breakfast was perfectly acceptable. The location is great as you're a short walk to the beach and all of the amenities that Canggu has to offer. I would definitely come back.

The room itself is lovely. Fully furnished with comfortable bed and linen, fridge, best AC on our trip, wardrobe and outside space with chair and table. The bathroom is big and with great pressure and hot water in shower. They only change towel and linen when you ask, but their is no problem to change them just let them know. The location is really good with walking distance to echo beach. The downside is the common kitchen. There is like only 3 coffee cups and quite dirty, but if you not tend to use it this is a really nice guest house with free water refill station. The pool is insane hot but have 4 nice long chairs to relax in.

It was a really nice room, loved that theres a terrace of its own. But one of the light bulb couldnt turn on and the lighting overall was so dark so it was quite grim at night - the room itself and the toilet. And the bed sheets was dirty had to request for change.

It’s a great mix of services appartment and hotel facilities making it perfect for longer stays . The staff was courteous and always available for anything you needed . The location is minutes from the beach and the area has amazing night life if you want to hand out after work. The vicinity has great eating options . Loved the way the overall props is designed with dog park at the rooftop and pool facing the beach and sunset . The pool facing the beach and sunset were the most beautiful part of the property and had fun watching sunset while sipping cocktails . Would recommend for friends , couples , solo travelers…

What a wonderful place to stay. We stayed for the first 4 nights of our visit and had an amazing stay. We stayed in a 2 bedroom villa which was perfect for our family. Whilst there were a few things that weren’t ready yet due to reactivation after Covid there was an alternative for everything and we had a lovely time. The staff were so kind and friendly. We loved being in a more countryside setting but a nice walk to some great warungs. Would definitely recommend to others with families or romantic holiday away from the hustle and bustle

This was our first stop in Bali and really enjoyed it. The employees were so friendly and always helpful. We really enjoyed the rooftop bar and view. The food we ordered for supper or lunch a few times was actually really good. I suggest the “flying noodles”. The cocktails were great and the happy hour is awesome. The bathrooms could use a little better lighting and the shower curtain could be a little more useful as it didn’t really stop the water from spraying everywhere. The location is perfect for Finns and Atlas beach clubs. Great location.

I was a fool for not reading enough negative reviews about this place (or refusing to believe they could be that bad). The first 2 days I was stoked, huge room, priceless pool and good food. Then it went downhill. In a 6 day stay, I had three different rooms because things went wrong in each room. This was my first time to bali so may be sewerage infrastructure in the whole country is broken and not isolated to Lv8. If so then water down (no pun intended) my negative review. I had to move from the first room at 11pm as water crept into the bedroom floor from the bathroom. They mopped up the first water spillage around 9pm, but it just seeped back in and began to smell (rm 310). The second room I had to move from because the toilet blocked 4 times. After maintenance staff cleared it the 4th time and remembered I was the same person in the same room, he said ”you may want to move to another room”. It was just unpleasant and so I was expecting some form of compensation for the massive inconvenience and downer on my holiday. They could not take a discount off my food bill or accom claiming a government tax declaration excuse. I saw another reviewer talked about their flooding toilet, well I can validate it (April 2023). The problem still exists!! Anyway if you still have your heart set on staying here, this tip may help. The second room had a high pitched ringing noise. Maintenance thought it was the smoke detectors but after a day of searching, turns out it was the bar fridge, so if you hear a high pitched ringing noise (rm 112), turn the thermostat on the fridge down. That seemed to work. The floors are tiled, so the room above you will give you screetching moving furniture noises as well as heavy footed people. The only way around that would be to request the top floor. The final room (214) was possibly going to be sewer hassle free but the shower screen door would not close properly, so water would creep outside (unless I held the door shut while I showered). Rm 214 was directly below 310 (my first room) and I could hear construction, so I hope that mean they were fixing the leaking water. Another warning, be wary of their private driver Agus. I asked reception to call me a taxi to go to another venue in Canggu. I didn't know how much taxis cost, so I paid Agus the idr250k. The next day a Bluebird taxi to the same venue was idr100k. So yeah I felt ripped off by this hotel recommended driver. Be wary. The positives? yes the pool view is priceless and whenever I got depressed about my room debarcle, I had to chill by the pool to go to my happy place. The food I thought was also good. Loved trying Indonesian food. The noodle dish (me goring?) and the rice disk (nasi goring?) were both delicious and had it twice. The complimentary a la carte breakfast is also a big positive. 5 stars for breakfast. Huge servings and although you get a choice of 3 items, the portions are huge. You won't leave hungry.

This was the most amazing stay The staff are incredible and very attentive, nothing is too much trouble, even when I changed the menu for my orders! The food is delicious and they have nightly themed meals which at the moment are sadly very quiet, which is a shame as I had it both nights I was here and it was delicious. The food isn't cheap for Ubud, but it's delicious and great portion sizes. The location is stunning and you feel very close to nature and the surroundings, you can even watch the man in the field working the rice. Beautiful decor, stunning rooms and all in all a piece of paradise and relaxation! Don't hesitate to book Menzel for some peace and tranquility! I was staying alone, and was made to feel very welcome and I can see this being the perfect place to enjoy with a partner/ for a special occasion! I loved it alone for some peace and luxury!

We have had a great stay here, and Gus is a great host who goes to the end to make his guests enjoy a great stay. The team he has around is working all day on making everything clean and comfortable. If sheets are on the ground, sheets are wiped, mattresses are needed for the beds are adjusted at the minute. You have to ask, our villa was unwisely clean and was as expected, the shower is also good, your room is cleaned at your request, through a plate. The villa was close to the street but there are earphones available in the room, which makes us sleep nicely. My friend was the t**** evening that we stayed here for the anniversary and I wanted to surprise her. A app to Gus was enough, he knew what he was doing right away and within 10 minutes we were discussing a menu. As agreed, he provided a dinner at candlelight next to the swimming pool with breathtaking decoration. This was really over expectation. We were even served at the pool by a warning staff who also provided the menu/dining. In general, this accommodation is a thick adviser!

I loved staying at Dini Guesthouse while I was in Canggu for 10 days. The property is amazing, the pool is perfect and the room was great. Everything was so clean and the service was amazing. Everyone was kind and helpful. The onsite restaurant had really good food and it was affordable. The location is perfect and is just next to the Outpost Coworking Space and not too far from the Tropical Nomad Coworking space (5 min. scooter ride). It is also close to a lot of restaurants and just in front of a small supermarket. In my opinion, the quality for the price is incredible. I would stay there again for sure.

We enjoyed our time in the Prana Mountain resort quite a lot and appreciate the hospitality and friendliness of the staff. The garden and surrounding of the resort is remarkable in the middle of the nature and invites to take hikes in rice terraces or the rain forest far away from the typical tourist spots on Bali. The resort is build on old rice terrace and the garden is beautiful and natural. The pool with fresh water without chemicals is a nice highlight after a hike. We stayed for three nights with the children and could get well along. The restaurant is also nice and serves good delicious food throughout the day. A few things could be improved: - the cleanliness in the rooms could be improved, also the bedding cleanliness - the mosquito protection around the beds is getting old and could be replaced or repaired - a hair dryer in the rooms would have been nice

We stayed in The Kirana Ungasan for a week at Bungalow with amazing pool view. We really enjoyed the silence and staff was always ready to help you. We get our scooter, laundry and even massage under our bungalow here. Would recommend scooter rent for exploring Uluwatu area (Do not rent if you don’t have experience driving a scooter or you’re too scared of traffic!!!) There is lot of shops and restaurants near by. Highly recommended for your stay if you want to be silence and want to stay bungalow. Thank you for this amazing week with you guys!!

Overall I enjoyed my stay here, the location was great and easy to find on the map, it’s very convenient. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, smiles on their faces and greetings were a regular thing. I also enjoyed the view from my balcony I could see the golf course as well as the great scenery of nature, it was so refreshing. The pool just outside was also one of my favorite things to enjoy at the resort. Was just a bit disappointed with the amenities in the room, they didn’t have any body lotion, really needed it. There was also an unpleasant smell in the elevator, I hope they can fix that soon. Other than that this is a great place to stay whenever you are close to Uluwatu.

Is a nice backpackers place to stay for someone looking for an over night or a couple of days. It’s a nice place but there are a few things I didn’t care about there I guess for the price it’s a bargain But at this time no restaurant open here I guess due to covid . Free coffee all the time and water availability down stairs. Shower is nice and hot , the AC cold and the bed is pretty comfortable. Is located in a residential area and has stairs and no elevator. 3 floors. For the price it’s clean and neat room to stay with a pool.

The Full Board package was worth it but it didn’t cover the Christmas brunches, etc which is what I was hoping for but being in a suite came with complimentary afternoon tea and evening cocktails which was really nice. Sometimes you find a hotel or resort that immediately makes you feel calm, relaxed, and grateful you've booked the right place. Bagus Beach Resort is definitely in this category. From the moment I stepped into the vast grounds resplendent with old Bali charm, I knew it was going to feel like home very quickly. I was immediately greeted by the resort manager, Pak Widi, who is extremely friendly and exceedingly knowledgeable about the region's attractions and history, as well as about Balinese culture. Make sure you spend some time talking to him, he's a really lovely guy! The resort itself perfectly captures the mood of North Bali tourism: peaceful, relaxed, slower-paced, it's a bit like stepping back in time to 20 years ago, when travelers stayed for about a month, learnt some Indonesian and Balinese, whiled away the days reading books and walking, and just growing to really love and respect the place. The room I stayed in couldn't have been cozier, and was spotlessly clean. The breakfast prepared by Pak Widi's beautiful wife, Ibu Jero Made, was absolutely delicious - she makes the island's best 'jaje Bali' - traditional sweets. She's extremely talented, and a very kind soul. Bali's tourism industry will be suffering from the impact of Covid-19 for a long time to come, and the more remote parts of the island especially so. If you want to really make your rupiah count, skip the south and head up to the north. You'll be rewarded in spectacular sunsets and grateful smiles for doing so! The hotel is in an extremely central location in Kuta Bali ( popies 1 ).The rate was $13 Australian with a basic room and good aircon, lovely bed, tv , wardrobe and bathroom. It’s not high class at all but the room seamed newly painted and the bathroom was a little aged. They have a pool and everyone was very friendly. There is a small kitchen in the reception area where you can make your own coffee or food. There is a very good bar on the corner as you walk into the hotel with large Bintang $3.50 aus and nasi gorang $2.50 aus. At first we were not impressed but warmed to the place decided to add three extra night here. Can’t complain about $65 aus for 5 nights.

On my last day, I call to front office and ask for complimentary refill but that did not arrive. Extra towel took long time to arrive. Used plates and garbage that we left at front door were not timely cleaned. For $300, I can choose other better 5 star hotel.

it was the second time i stayed at Rini,the first time was 10 years ago,so this september,when i revisited Bali, i decided to stay at Rini again,cuz the first time i stayed here,i dont have TP account,cant rate it.when arrived,i had their airport pick up,the hotel said i can stop at few attractive spots on the way before drop off,but there’s a long queue at the immigration counter.i took around one hour to go out of the airport,i just stopped for buying sim card at a phone store near kapal village only.when checked in, the lady at the counter helped me, she is friendly and helpful,i booked dolphins tour from her, which cost rp100,000 per person.the two male staffs i met were helpful also,one wake me up in the early morning for the dolphins tour, another one help me to get transport when i needed a one day tour after dolphins tour. the room i stayed is huge and clean, i think they just have renovation. the bathroom looks a bit old,but quite clean. be noted that they dont provide toiletries, they provide towel,toilet paper only. that time i stayed, not many tourists, i had a quiet stay.but dont worry,cuz the place is big,if many tourists, still can have very quiet stay here. i had breakfast at their restaurant twice.i had nasi goreng, banana pancake, fruits platter,also coffee and tea.the food is tasty.the location is great,close to the famous dolphins statue or lovina beach.there are many eateries around ,very convenient. there is a small pool beside the restaurant, but found no time to use it.i hope next time will stay here longer,more time to relax. recommend Rini to those who want a quiet stay in Lovina,and the price is competitive!

The property was very close to bars and restaurants whilst being down a quiet little road so there was little to no noise at night. We stayed for 4 nights. We booked this hotel 30 mins before arriving after leaving the Sungu Resort and Spa without staying a single night there, as it was terrible. As soon as we got to the Swahita at very short notice we got a good feeling. Clean reception with unbelievably helpful staff. We were given a welcome drink whilst they completed a speedy check-in for us and showed us to our room. Because we booked so last minute there was only a family room left which offered 2 large double beds. If you’re a family, the room was very spacious and had a lot of storage space! If you’re a couple then we saw the rooms with 1 bed and they still looked great. Our room was cleaned every day, with fresh towels and bottled water provided. It was as though they tried to get it cleaned and tidied as soon as they saw us leave for the day, so that there was no way we were coming back to an unmade room. Staff were absolutely brilliant. The pool was really nice, well Kept and quiet. Staff asked if we would’ve liked complimentary tea or coffee each time we relaxed at the pool. They were also okay with the fact we bought a few beers from the local shop to enjoy by the pool! There were only about 6 sun loungers but it was never an issue as the hotel is nice and quiet. We always seemed to get a sun loungers even if we started relaxing at 3pm or so, after a day of activities. All the staff were truly great and helpful, but a special mention goes to Agus! He was one of the highlights of our holiday, made us feel welcome and comfortable, and was one of the nicest people we met on our travels! Would recommend Swahita!

I want to recommend to everyone the excellent team of the hotel Ped Cottage. Staff is very attentive to the guests and responsive. Very quickly react to problems and solve them. The room is clean, clean every day. Breakfast is very little but delicious! In the hotel you can order tours on the island, snorkeling with mant - which goes cheaper than ordering elsewhere. I advise you to choose the suite room on the 2nd floor, tc there is your own space. On the 1st floor - the staff passes by, which is not quite convenient. The hotel itself is far from any beaches, so it will be more suitable for ”night with comfort.” If you want to live near a good beach - this option is not yours. From the dock - 10 minutes drive. About 150.000 RP by taxi.

I will start by saying the cuisine was superb. I used to live in Bali 10years ago for 5years and I am passionate about food. It was so good to be able to eat authentic Balinese cuisine which was cooked authentically with all the spices and cooking methods. A big congratulations to the chef whose beef Rendang was better than Potatoes Heads Indo restaurant and for the Ayam Betutu which was exactly like a Balinese mother would prepare. The staff were young but enthusiastic and helpful. For me this was great to experience an authentic Balinese experience again after so much has been lost in the developments down south. Congrats to you all And the mountain views are spectacular when the clouds clear

I recommend this hotel a hundred times. It was a dream and everything more. I love the fact it’s in a remote area in the jungle. It has amazing views and the pool area was my favourite. I will definitely be coming back. Thank you !!!
