0.33km from Benjamin SteakhouseWe stayed here mid December and were looking forward mainly to the location, having previously stayed on the upper west it was good to have some of the main locations nearby. You're within a few minutes walk of Grand Central station so that should give you an idea of roughly where you are, nowhere is too difficult to get to either on foot or from the station itself. The accomodation we knew prior to going would probably fall under the budget category however if you're going into Manhattan to spend time sightseeing then the amount of time spent in the room should be minimal. So that being said we were just happy to have a hotel that was clean and gave us a comfortable base for our exploring and Seton certainly did. The room was well kept and cleaned daily, we opted for a room with a private bathroom (the only thing we would always look to have) and whilst being on the small side it was perfectly adequate. The staff on reception were always very welcoming with the exception of one young lady but we encountered at least another 4/5 people who couldn't help us enough. Would have absolutely no trouble with going back to the Seton, in fact i imagine we will if we ever visit the city again - the only thing i would say is providing you aren't going expecting luxury you'll be fine. It does exactly what it needs to and for the price you pay, and the location you are in you really can't fault it.
