I had a very disappointing experience during my stay. I had to carry two suitcases up and down three times before finally getting a usable room. • The first room I was assigned had the TV on, an unmade bed, and leftover food on the table. It appeared to be already occupied — possibly a double check-in. • The second room could not be opened at all. I suspect this may also have been a double check-in or a system issue. • Only on the third attempt was I given a room that appeared normal. However, cleanliness was still a concern. I am quite sensitive to my environment, and after sitting on the couch, I immediately felt itchy, which suggests that it may not have been properly cleaned or maintained. Additionally, I noticed dirt behind the bedside table that looked suspicious (potentially related to bugs), although the staff told me it was just food residue. After one night, I did not feel well and experienced itchiness on my body, which made me uncomfortable. the breakfast was good. and the location is good (close to the Stratford international station).

Not a great experience for an IHG hotel for the first time. The staffs (except for the manager) were unfriendly and not proactive in their service. There was no smile on their faces when you engage them. Also, for the first time, our hotel card was deactivated because we apparently put too close to our mobile phones or other cards, which made no sense. No amenities are provided unless you request for it and it took them an hour to send a toothbrush up. Floor is also not cleaned properly. We shifted the table and there was so many crumbs on the floor. Worst experience ever.

We like staying in this hotel very much. It is a new hotel renovated from classic residential buildings and the interior are modern and fresh. The location is close to underground station and bus stops. We particularly like the bed and bedding are comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful! We asked for a bottle of water at late night and the staff told us it was run out, but he was so kind to give us his own water to us.

UCL is right across the street, Russell Square is a short stroll, and the British Museum is only a ten-minute walk. There are plenty of supermarkets and restaurants nearby too. The hotel has over a thousand rooms, so check-in can be a bit slow, but check-out is easy – just hand your key card to a staff member on the ground floor. The soundproofing isn't great; you can hear doors opening and closing next door, and conversations in the hallway. Aside from the carpet, the room was very clean. They don't provide drinking water, toothpaste, toothbrushes, or slippers. The bathroom sink is quite small, so washing your face can make a mess. The room only comes with one chair, so the other person has to sit on the bed. The window only opens a crack, and there's no air conditioning, making the room quite stuffy and hot. Overall, it's very convenient for getting around, and there's plenty to eat, drink, and explore nearby, so I'm still very satisfied!

Close to the underground and the Heathrow express 15 minutes and you are at terminal 2 so picked for these reasons. The room was good and clean. Service was ok, we asked for more water and we had to go down and get it after 45 minutes as we did not need any room service while there for the 3 days just some more water. Would have to say the person we dealt with we learning and guessing he forgot. But close to the city and easy to train or walk to a lot of places. Hyde park is down the road and a nice wee stroll.
