I had a bad experience that another person accidentally took my luggage, leaving their own off of the water taxi from airport. I checked into The Paganelli with no other clothes, no toiletries and more than a little freaked out. Thankfully I did get it back the next day but in the interim, the staff there was SO helpful and kind!! This is located next to a wonderful restaurant, Restaurante Principessa, good food and can people watch same time, couples getting married, etc. It's super conveniently located by Piazza San Marco and there is a water bus stop literally right in front of it.

First of all, the location of the hotel is very convenient, the hotel is the ferry to take the drop point, take a few points to the ABC, the farthest mouth is less than 300 meters away from the hotel, travel is very convenient. Secondly, the hotel is very clean, the bathroom is like a new one, and the bathing things are good. Third, the hotel staff is very good, both patient and caring. We arrived at noon, although we did not arrive at the check-in time, but the handsome at the front desk still warmly gave us the check-in procedure, enthusiastically explained the map attractions, and saw that we sometimes couldn’t understand Italian English, we used the pen to write the words on paper. I am very touched. If conditions permit, the view room with balcony is expensive but worth it.

It is ideally located 5 minutes walk from the Government House and 5-8 minutes walk from St. Mark's Square. There is a water bus stop at the entrance of the hotel, as well as a water taxi stop, which is very convenient to go to any island in Venice. Breakfast is average, but it is delicious. The hotel takes a water taxi to Venice Marco Polo Airport for 120 Euros.

We stayed for 3 nights. The hotel was convenient to St. Marks and the Vaparettos. This was crucial as we were traveling with my elder mother. The hotel was central but without the crowds. It was super easy to find and no bridges to cross with our luggage. Breakfast was very pleasant with hot and cold options. The best feature of the hotel was the friendly and helpful staff. We asked for directions as well as travel arrangements. We asked for a non-touristy restaurant recommendation. We enjoyed the restaurant so much, we went back the second night to try other dishes. We didn't know we were in Venice on the All Saints holiday so the crowds had really rolled in.

We are just leaving after a beautiful 2 days in Venice. So happy with our hotel, so hard to book on line. But hotel was amazing. Directly in front of the water taxi spot - we can from the airport. We were on the second floor- no elevators. Hotel clean, rooms small but perfect for the 2 of us. Shower big, air conditioning amazing in the room which was good because it was 35 degrees outside. Everyone so friendly! Breakfast was included each am, hardy and so tasty! 5 min walk to San Marco square! Would definitely return. We didn’t get a lagoon view but we only came back to the room at the end of the day to sleep.

For the first time staying at this hotel, the facilities are relatively simple, but the environment, service and hygiene are very good. Especially when I left the Apple X mobile phone at the hotel when I left the store, I remembered asking my daughter to contact the hotel before I boarded the plane. When I was transferring, the hotel told the mobile phone to find it. The key is that the photos I take on the trip are all on my phone, otherwise it will be a pity. Thank you for your honest service, if you will stay at this hotel next time.

The hotel is in a great location for exploring Venice. The staff are friendly and helpful. Our room was clean with a seated area, tea/coffee making facilities, mini bar fridge and free to use safe. Lovely strong/hot shower and toiletries' supplied. The breakfasts are continental style and amazing, such a great selection of fruit, cold meats, cheeses, eggs. Also warm pastries and delicious biscuits and cakes everyday. Too cold for us to use but in warmer weather there is a courtyard to relax in. Fresh filtered coffee is available throughout the day with homemade biscuits in a comfy lounge where you can watch the world go by. Our luggage was looked after for us on the day we left. I would highly recommend this hotel as a great base to stay.

The location is excellent on the main island of Venice. From the train station, take the water passenger boat to the Santa Marco Square and walk for five minutes. It is just that the hotel must be strictly in accordance with the two o'clock in the afternoon to stay for one minute and will not let you stay in advance. The room was small enough for a night, although the facilities were old and decorated, but it was very early and small but clean and clean (clean means only items that can be changed). Other things like wall bathtubs are inconvenient and easy to change. It’s quite dirty to catch up with the three hotel front desk staff to hand over one of the Philippine chubby gentlemen and other European face staff than the attitude is simply too much and amiable

I like it very much and I have recommended it to my friends. The outside of the hotel is very well-maintained, the facilities are very good, there is a very good smell in the air, the service staff is very warm, the breakfast is simple, but it is very particular, and finally eat hot bread. The palatial feel of the room decoration. The wall covering of the full house. Specially designed for Italian decoration. The single room that was occupied on the National Day, more than 800, the price is good. I also came across a wedding photo with a good mood.

What I am most satisfied with is the bedding and the public space is beautiful. Hotel room rates fluctuate a bit every day. Venice is all about walking anyway. We put necessary changes in our backpacks and sent our suitcases to the hotel. Wait until after 15:00 to check if there is a cheaper price. Or wherever you go, if you see a hotel you like, just stay in it. There are so many good new five-star hotels in Venice. You can try more!

We checked in here briefly about Air BnB during our Italian holiday. The accommodation is very central, in a quiet location very close to the train station. The newly renovated Venetian style is unrecognised and still technically updated by air conditioning, refrigerator and Wi-Fi. The guests are very nice and there are both local restaurants and a supermarket in the area. We have enjoyed it very well. Only suggestions for improvement: at breakfast breads would have been beautiful and the refrigerator was too hot set. But these are little things. When we stay next night in the beautiful laguna city we will certainly come back

This hotel is advertised as 3 stars, but comes nowhere near to meeting the minimum requirements for 3 stars - It may have been a long time ago but it is definitely not anymore. Staff are not Italian, but from Bangladesh. Communication was an issue - there was only one staff member that worked in the afternoon that could understand English. If you ask them to order you a taxi, they get one of their ”friends” to transport you (which costs more than a normal taxi). The rooms are very small and tired. The bathroom floors are very slippery - my mother fell and hurt herself. Check-in was only available from 3 pm. We arrived on an 11 am flight and were made to wait till 3 pm. There is nowhere to leave luggage securely until check-in. After waiting till 3.30, the cleaner was still busy in the room when we went upstairs to settle in. There is no dining facility (the dining room is closed up). The air-conditioning only operates in the cooler hours of the day - not active between 1 am and 6 am and also between 9 am and 4 pm, which are the hottest parts when needed most and turns off if you open a window and you have to call reception to reset it. It turns off when you leave the room and remove the key. Lots of mosquitoes. We had two different rooms during our stay and both had issues with non-working lights and power points, no bar fridge, and only 1 skinny pillow (more were supplied after multiple requests). There is a lift, but only large enough for one person and a small suitcase. the two of us had to take turns in the lift with our suitcases. There is nowhere in the bathroom to put clothes, toiletries, etc (only one small towel rail and hook) - nowhere in the shower for soaps, etc. Rooms are only serviced (cleaned and re-stocked) every second day. It is convenient to public transport, however, there are very limited and mostly poor eating options in the area. The beds were comfy enough. Only Italian channels were available on the TV in the room.

I’ve chosen this hotel for it closeness to airport, coz I arrived late night. There was long line for taxi, no another transportation at night. Also there is a bus stop close to get to city center. I would advice to add the compliment water for your guests.

We were in Venice for a few days in the lead-up to Easter weekend and stayed in this small, but lovely little hotel not very far from St Mark's Square. As such, it was well situated to visit many key sights and was also close to the waterside by the Doge's Palace for all manner of water transportation being not even five minutes up an alley running up past the back of the Doge's Palace (the prison cells I think!). The staff are super friendly. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The hotel is an ideal base for visitors to return to after a day's sightseeing, to refresh before heading out again for an evening meal. There is a small square around the corner (actually, it is triangular!) which offers a breakfast coffee, a lunchtime snack or an evening meal. We had a lovely time, enhanced by staying in this most comfortable of hotels...

We have just returned from a 2-night stay at this lovely hotel. It is well positioned for all the sights and there is a public water taxi stop next to the front of the hotel. The staff make all the difference. Valentino and another young man, whose name I didn’t get, were on reception for the 2 nights we were there. They didn’t stay behind the desk but came out and circulated and were engaging with all the customers, genuinely interested in what everyone had been doing. As front of house, they were outstanding. We had a side canal view. We paid a premium and being only 5’2” if I leant out, with my husband holding my ankles, I could see the Grand Canal. Not sure I would go for this option again. The room itself was small but very comfortable. We both slept very well. The only ****** was breakfast. I would like this to be self-service. On entering the breakfast room, we were advised that we had to have table service we were automatically given some bread rolls and croissants on the table. I like to have a look and then choose my own size portions, normally small. I observed that several people seemed to want to do self-service, but this wasn’t an option. A lot of rolls and croissants weren’t used as not everyone wanted them and I assume went to the bin. Also I just like to be left to do my own thing at breakfast. Table service for tea and coffee would be good. Unfortunately, this is something that would put me off using the hotel again. The only other small issue for me is the individual shampoo etc in the bathroom. I much prefer refillable dispensers which create far less plastic waste.

We just returned from a 4 night stay at Porta da Mar Venezia. The location in unbeatable, just a few minutes walking to the Biennale Giardini and Biennale ****nal. Only 15 min walking from San Marco, so you are not in the overcrowded toeristmasses. The Junior suite with Lagoonview was very comfortable. The quality of beds , linen and towels is first class. The bathroom very tastfull and good working, so was the airco. A minibar , coffee and thea fascilities, and everything spotless clean and fresh and new. If the windows are open you have direct awsome view to the water. There is ofcourse some noise from the boats and waterlife, but the windows are very good soundproofing, so we’ve had a very silent peaceful nightrest. Giampaulo, the owner is a most friendly and kind person, and he gave us al kind of info and tips. The small place with only six rooms on the first floor is a real oasis in busy and crowded Venezia. Downstairs there is a litlle bar with terras, so from the early morning till 22.00 u you can go there for a coffee, breakfast, drinks and meals. Very reasonable priced. Compiments for the friendly girl who cleaned our room everyday. Perfect! So we felt very happy at this place, and we can strongly recommend this place. If you are looking for a fine welltasted and goodpriced room on a wonderful location. The Via Girabaldi is just 50 m away with a lot of terrasses and restaurants. We definitely will return. We stayed 3 nights in order to visit Venice. The staff are wonderful, polite and helpful. They made us a takeaway breakfast for the airport without us even asking. This place is incredibly good value, Our room was big & had a king size bed. The bathroom had a really powerful shower. Everything was spotless, we had towels changed and the room serviced daily. There is a brilliant restaurant around the corner on Dante Street, good quality food and not expensive. I would recommend this hotel for Venice, the bus is only 2 minutes walk and is very regular. The train station is 10 mins walk. You can get a shuttle bus from the airport for about 8€ and just walk down 1 street to the hotel. The breakfast was ok, croissants, nice fresh bread rolls, yoghurt, juice, cereal. Plenty for a speedy breakfast before an early start in Venice. (Get there as early as you can to beat the crowds and see the massive operation of getting the City into action) The Wifi in the hotel was great. There was a TV with only Italian channels, but it did have music channels as well. This hotel is such a bargain. Enjoy!

My wife and I traveled to Italy for two week in October . Our trip started in Venice and we spent 4 days and 3 nights @ Ca Rialto House Hotel . The hotel in located steps away from Rialto bridge and the water taxi is located steps away form hotel front door The hotel is very old as our most things in Venice , the lobby is nice , the staff is wonderful and go out of their way to to take care of their guest Are room was on the small side , we had 2 Windows that over looked an alley , so not much of view . Room was decorated in traditional Old Italian decor , it was reallnice and I came to appreciate it more and more . We had nice bathroom , shower had lots of water pressure and hot water . The AC worked fantastic I mentioned the room ws on smaller side , but once we organized our suits cases it was more than ample space . We were out all day and if the afternoons we would come back and enjoy our room . The hotel offered a nice breakfast every morning , and there were 2 or 3 restaurants and coffee bars right outside of the front door Hotel is centrally located at rialto bridge , it is an easy walk to San Marks square and other areas of Venice . We venture to the neighborhoods across the Rialto bridge , we found lots of great restaurants and cafes with a lot less tourist . Overall we loved our stay at Ca Rialto and would definitey stay here again The also have outside deck that offers a view of the Grand Cannel , great spot to bring bottle of wine and drink on the deck and enjoy the view

The Hotel Nani Mocenigo Palace was stunning. It was, by far, the best and most beautiful hotel in the category that we saw on our 14 trips from 2019 to 2023. The reception was competent, nice and courteous. First they offered us the luggage service. After that we were taken to the elevator and room. The page followed up the stairs. The room, a junior suite deluxe, has a size of almost 65 square meters including the bathroom. In addition to special pieces of furniture, fine wall fabrics, ”terrazzo alla veneziana” and elegant wooden floors create a Venetian flair. The open plan living area with mini bar leads through the sleeping area to the fine marble bathroom with bathtub and shower. Anyone who knows the Doge's Palace knows that the Junior Suite Deluxe also embodies beauty and splendor. The breakfast is good and diverse. The buffet includes bread and rolls, spreads, cheese and sausage, cold dishes such as yoghurt, hot dishes such as sausages, fruit, salad, desserts such as mousse and drinks. Special requests can also be ordered à la carte. The service is quick and courteous. The clean Venetian hotel comes with a heartfelt recommendation.

We had a fabulous welcome from a front of house person and were given a map, some very helpful information and that was very much appreciated. We were helped with our bags to our apartment, settled in and shown where things were. It was a great way to have an additional bed without the cost of an extra hotel room. We were impressed with the lovely European styling of the apartment and excellent facilities - a dishwasher, washing machine, fridge, freezer, oven, microwave. Our bins were emptied each day, we were there for 3 nights and felt safe, secure.

The hotel is on a separate island and there is only this hotel on the island. The environment is well maintained. There is a pool and restaurant on the roof. You can see the main island of Venice. In terms of transportation, there is a ferry to and from San Marco Square on the main island. The boat and the one-way shuttle bus to St. Lucia Railway Station on the main island are free. We live in small suites, the rooms and beds are large, the bathrooms and cloakrooms are large, and the experience is very good!

It was already 11 o'clock in the evening at the airport. I took a bus to the hotel and it was very convenient. It will arrive in five minutes. The hotel room is large. One room and one living room. Can live 4 people, we are more than enough to live. The front desk also has a bus ticket to Venice Island, which is very convenient. This price is at the hotel and the price is very high.

We stayed here for 3 nights early September for our 10 year wedding anniversary. It was the first time we’d been to Venice and it definitely didn’t disappoint. Before I write the hotel review, I would like to highlight to travellers that haven’t been to Venice before and perhaps aren’t aware of how the travel works to and from the airport that no cars are allowed onto the Venice island. We weren’t aware of this before we travelled and paid €90 (£80) for a taxi that drops you at the termini. You then head over a very large bridge and walk to your hotel. I would recommend that you take the bus from the airport which takes the same length of time for around €11 (£10). The buses leave the airport terminal frequently. The hotel is around a 20 minute walk from the termini. I would recommend paying the £2 roaming fees (check price with your network provider) as it would have been impossible to find the hotel without- we arrived quite late at night. We had let the hotel know that we would be arriving late and they arranged for a member of staff to be there to greet us. The hotel is small, with very few rooms, but lovely and very comfortable. Our bedroom had a balcony that looked onto the canal- not sure all rooms do, so definitely ask if this option is available as the view was beautiful in the morning. Although the room also overlooked the streets it was very quiet and we weren’t disturbed. Breakfast was tasty- it was a cold breakfast of cereal, yogurt, meats, cheese, rolls and pastries and the coffee was delicious! There are lots restaurants and bars close to the hotel. You will find that a lot of them around lunch and dinner will not serve drinks only- you will need to search out these places that will. A lot of people tend to head towards the Grand Canal for meals. You will pay extra in these places and to be honest they aren’t as nice as the cute quirky places around the side streets. There is a very small pizza/pasta place with canal side eating, close to the hotel called Al Garzoti. It’s highly rated on trip advisor and was delicious and cheap- it gets very busy so you will need to book. We didn’t take a gondola, but there are plenty of these available. If I remember rightly a 30 minute ride was around €70. We did take one of the boat trips to a couple of the neighbouring islands- I would definitely recommend seeing Burano. The colourful houses and buildings are so pretty! These boat rides are pretty reasonably priced. Enjoy your trip to Venice! :)

We spent 3 nights with my girlfriend in mid-November. We often return to this facility because it is comfortable for anyone who wants to live in Venice and elegant. The bathrooms are very comfortable and spacious enough. The only discomfort the rough stairway to get to the first floor is the discomfort to do with the baggage in hand. For the rest we recommend it to all especially to couples visiting the Serenissima.

The reading reviews had made me fear to find a sophisticating structure, but the opposite is, my fellow and I were very good, the comfortable, clean, comfortable room. It was my first stay at Master and, hopefully, I will always choose this hotel for your stay. ...

This hotel is located in a great part of Venice that is incredibly walkable to all of the big landmarks and to so so many local restaurants. While many reviews say it is hard to find - it is not. Google walking instructions TOTALLY WORK. Look at signs on the buildings - they are small but there. The hotel e-mailed me AND WhatsApp messaged me before the stay to make sure I filled out the visitor paperwork / information they need. The hotel then e-mailed me the codes to get in to the building and our room. They do have someone on site - the house keeper is there in the morning through around 2:00 pm. There is no breakfast that we could see but we did not pay for one. The room was comfortable, the location fantastic, and we were very happy with our stay.
