|4.73km from city centerBeen to Hokkaido many times but first time in Hakodate. Bourou Noguchi is one of the most expensive hotels in Yunokawa area. The Noguchi Group of hotels operates quite a few hotels in the Donan area (southern Hokkaido). Seems most, if not all, of the room are fitted with private onsen. We have a duplex room with living room and bedroom on the lower floor, and bath room on the upper floor. The room size is enormous by any Japan standard. With a premium price you pay, you get almost everything you need in a room, coffee beans and maker, free mini bar drinks, Loccitane toiletries, private in-room onsen, an empty Japanese style living room with no furniture where you can do yoga, two TVs. The room has windows on two sides facing east and west. The hotel as a whole takes a western style of decoration rather than a traditional style. I guess since most of the rooms has its own onsen, as a result the public bath on the top floor is not very outstanding, however, there are free drinks and ice cream on the lounge next to the onsen entrance. And the lounge has a nice view on Hakodate city and Mount Hakodate. Every room has its designated dining room in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast. Both meals serve Japanese and western style dishes. My personal opinion is that Japanese dishes is better. Service in restaurant and front desk is as good as you will find in a Japanese hotel. On the ground floor there is a library, and a bar opens until late. There is not much in the surrounding area except onsen hotels, however, there are noodle shop, sushi restaurant and drug store nearby.

|0.55km from city centerWe stayed at Century Marina for our first night in Hokkaido and originally chose it for its proximity to most of the sites we wanted to see in Hakodate. It's just a few minute walk from the train station with plenty of sidewalks so pulling our suitcases was no issue. The hotel also has a large parking lot if you choose to drive. It's also just a few minute walk from the warehouse district and the older area up the hill where a lot of historical embassies and churches are. The hotel's breakfast buffet is an experience itself with an extensive spread of both Japanese and Western food options. You will reserve a time slot when checking in, but even then you should expect a 10-20 minute wait in the morning to get your table, so its best to go up before your reserved time. This hotel also has one of the best rooftop onsen I've seen, with wonderful views of the whole marina and hill. When booking I didn't realize there was a hot springs so this was a nice surprise. Our room was right next to the elevator but very quiet and clean. This is a newer hotel too so everything felt very fresh and well-maintained. We checked in using Japanese, but the hotel has check-in info packets and signs in English so this is a good option for non-Japanese speaking guests as well.

|1.24km from city centerWhat an amazing hotel HakoBA Hakodate is. It is located in the old Fuji Bank building which gives it a unique character. They have done an amazing job updating the interior making it look modern yet still letting the character of the building shine through, awesome! Staff at reception were super friendly and helped us with lots of recommendations, like food and drink, and helped us with the public transport 1-day pass which you can buy here. There's also a cool little shop in the reception area selling local gifts. The room was really nice and we were lucky they gave us a room on the top floor which meant the room had really high ceilings and amazing details on the ceiling. Bathroom was pretty large, very modern and clean. Location wise this hotel is perfect. It is a 20 minute walk from the station but well connected to other public transport like buses and the city tram system. Located in the middle of the redbrick warehouse area of Hakodate there's plenty of shopping and restaurants around. Ideal for exploring this amazing city. Highly recommend staying here!

|4.81km from city centerThis hotel is located at the Yunokawa area in Hakodate. It's reachable within 20 minutes from Hakodate bus terminal. There are three buses serving this area: 95, 95A and 96. There is also a direct bus from/to Shin-Hakodate-Hokuto station with a fee of ¥900/person/way. We booked a Japanese-style room with a private onsen bath facing the ocean. The view is beyond our expectation. The room is super spacious - consisting of the entrance area, sleeping area, living room, a toilet, and bath area. They are still using the actual key instead of keycards. They served some snacks, tea, free beers, bottled water and cold tea. The room we booked also provided halfboard (dinner and breakfast). The food was amazing with many varieties, including our favourites - king crabs. All was served in a buffet style so you can eat this crab as much as you want.

|0.67km from city centerNice and clean hotel. Location is right next to Hakodate JR station which is convenient.
Buffet breakfast was good with wide variety of food to choose from.
Room looks quite new but was quite compact for my family of 4.
The negative thing was that my room didn't come with any complimentary water and there was also no housekeeping provided during my stay (They only provided a bag with fresh change of towels, coffee/tea bags to each room).

|0.94km from city centerIt was comfortable. It was really comfortable already. I visited the south side based in Hakodate City, but I used it at that time. At first, I was worried because the price was too cheap, but when I stayed, it was very comfortable rather than no problem. The salty breakfast is very recommended. Also, I was very satisfied with the curry on Sunday morning. It is within walking distance from Hakodate Station and the parking lot was also able to stop with a roof. It may be recommended for motorcycles and bicycles. Thank you so much for your help. I'll come again!

|3.09km from city centerIt is a hotel in a place about 10 minutes walk to goryokaku. [room] room is not large 々 but not a bitchy, ordinary business hotel. unit of bath, toilet, washbasin set. The hanger is 8 books, enough for two people. The back when going to the public bath was hung there. Amenity had a toothbrush brush brush sled and standard things. There are baggage racks and air cleaners. WIFI can also be used. [big bath] washroom is about 10, bathtub is also about 10 people will put in. [breakfast] 1 at the restaurant on the floor. The breakfast in Hakodate is famous for luxury, but it is quite luxurious here. There are many dishes in small bowls and bowls, so the dishes may be 1 pieces. Breakfast venue, but is it wide in the feeling that I saw it at check-in? There was a seat in the back that I saw when I went to breakfast, and if I avoided the congestion time zone, I could secure the seat without waiting. It feels like a room key is presented at the reception and taken a tray, but it feels like a check with a card??? in the card seat of ”meal”. This card is on the tray. But I should give the card at the receptionist like other hotels, and I got a little bit of a card on the tray. (Is this style in other Hokke clubs?) [Others] The room is a building facing the goryoka area and the urban area, but this time the goryoka area is good, but we are in the urban area, It was ”deviation?” How do I go to the goryokaku area? By the way, the cup was in the refrigerator. bathing ink! On the left side and right shoulder. Maybe Japanese!! There is a unit bus in the room, so explain when checking in!! I want everyone to be a hotel that can spend healthy.

|1.16km from city centerStayed in a suite. The room was very large, with kitchen and coffee mills, and it felt like staying in a luxurious house. I think the meal is very good because the welcome cake was very delicious. From the big window, Motomachi and Hakodate mountain are visible and have a feeling. It is just a good location for walking in the western district, such as Motomachi and Hakodate station, and the tram stop is also close, so access is good.

|4.64km from city centerIt has been almost 3 years that we have not visited Japan. Once Japan opened tourism, we packed our bags. We decided this trip will be a trip to enjoy some onsen (hot springs bath) and to see some fall foliage in colors. We picked Hakodate for onsen. This hotel offers in room open air bath tub on the balcony with a 180 degree ocean view!! Our activities were focused on taking onsen and having great food at the hotel buffet restaurant. After a great onsen bath, we wore the clothing they provided to us to the restaurant, very layback and relaxing!! There were many families, old and very young at the hotel over the weekend. So we think families take short vacations here. Strongly recommend to add Hakodate and this hotel to be part of your tour in Japan !

|0.59km from city centerThe Japanese-style quadruple room has twin beds and large tatami mats that can be used as a floor bed for two people. The mattress on the floor bed is very soft and comfortable. The air conditioning temperature is moderate, the room is equipped with a humidifier, and women's makeup remover and facial cleanser are available from Pola. The hair dryer provided by the women's bathing bath is very useful, and there are free soda and ice cream inside. If you don’t want to take a shared bath, you can wait for the private bath room, which is also on the ninth floor. You can go in when it is available at the door without making a reservation. There is free ramen for late night snacks, and you can choose between salt ramen and soy sauce. Personally, I think Shio Ramen is too salty.

|4.76km from city centerA trip to Hokkaido on your own, two days of staying at this hotel. It is very strange that Ctrip has very little evaluation of this home. It is a relatively economical and practical hot spring hotel. Although the equipment is a bit old, there should be a small room. Very close to the sea, but the sound insulation is very good, so you can't sleep with the sound of the waves (laugh). Most importantly, this hot spring is very good, especially the outdoor soup, also known as the hot spring, the price of the next door is three times more expensive (I also live hahaha next door if loose). Anyway, the best value for money, recommend a small partner who loves hot springs哟

|4.83km from city centerI booked a Japanese-style room (Gyu-tei), but the bedroom was separate and it was wider and more comfortable than I thought. I looked for a place that was not a Viking when I made a reservation. It was delicious both in the morning and evening. Abalone dance grilled and beef steak have a live feeling. I could choose a Japanese set meal or a buffet in the morning, but I chose a Japanese set meal. I had it at the restaurant Hanamai in the morning and evening, but the attention and worries of the floor staff were wonderful. And the most impressive thing was the pleasant greetings of all the staff.

|5.19km from city centerThis hotel is a relatively newer hotel . There is a huge free open carpark behind the hotel. Check in was fast . Welcome drinks were served. The twin rooms are very comfortable with good temperature control and firm beds. Wifi was fast. There was a bathtub and a area to sit down and shower just like in the onsen area. Two bottles of water were provided. Dinner was good with snow crabs , sashimi like tuna , octopus , ikura etc . There was also a ramen section where you cook your own ramen . For desert , there was an assortment of cakes and ice cream . Onsens were new and relatively empty. The bathing area was adequately lit . The only drawback was that only one type of shampoo and conditioner was available . There was a long indoor onsen . Outdoor onsens had a long sort of infinity pool , another pool and two barrel tubs . The onsens were clean and new and quiet. There was also a resting area that looked out over the city at night . What would make the experience better would be perhaps popsicles could be offered for all to enjoy after the onsen. Breakfast was good . Overall a very comfortable and reasonably priced stay near an Aeon mall and fantastic soba restaurant

|0.37km from city centerIt is very close to Hakodate train station, and it is also very close to the morning market. Free parking is also a highlight. The hotel uses self-service registration, self-scanning passports, etc. There are only a few rooms on each floor, so there won't be too many people. There is a microwave oven in the room, as well as a small amount of cooking supplies. You can buy things and return to the hotel to reheat them. There are many delicious foods in the convenience store😆 But we booked 3 people, only an extra sofa bed, but did not take the initiative to provide an extra set of bedding🙄. Is it because the hotel only provides limited services? This will deduct points.

|0.35km from city centerIt is a big hotel in Hakodate residential area. The nearest stop is Matsukaze CHO and the bus stop is Omori Cho. It is located on the east side of Hakodate station and Hakodate City Hall, and it is not far away, but it is not very busy because it is in the residential area. There is also a Family Mart nearby, and there are restaurants if you go to the station, but it is a bit inconvenient to walk to the tourist spot. I think there is no problem if I rent a bicycle for free because I rent a bicycle. There is a large parking lot on the north side of the hotel and it is parked for free, so I think there is no problem for sightseeing by car. It was a quite big hotel and I was traveling alone but I could use a twin room. Amenities were all available and there was a refrigerator in the room. The unit bus facilities were a bit old, but they were able to use it without any problems. There is also a welcome drink beside the lobby, and there is a cartoon shelf in the back and you can read it freely. The special note is the night crying soba service. It is limited to 10:00 ~ 12:00 at night, but there is a service that can be eaten freely by making salt ramen. Self service, but the ingredients are also served with charshoe, menma, corn, onion and cheeks, and you can put them as much as you like. There were many people who were used quite a lot. There is no shaving, cotton swab, sponge, hair-stained rubber, etc. There is a dryer and refrigerator, TV and Wi-Fi in the room, but there is no hot water pot, air cleaner, deodorant spray, etc. The cup is only for toothpaste. You can't boil hot water and drink warm things. There is a coin laundry and smoking place in the building, but there is no ice making machine or microwave. The bathtub is very narrow. |4.7km from city center< Good thing > I stayed in a Japanese-style room (7.5 book). I used it with my baby. From the conclusion, the food was very nice (really), the hall was clean, the hot springs were comfortable, and ice candy and water / special drinks (forgot the name) were prepared for free after the hot springs. < What I thought a little > ● Room size Some people may say that this size is enough, but I was cramped with my 々 family. However, there was no space except for the space of the 7.5 chapter in the room, and it felt difficult to stay overnight. The closet is so small that if you bring it with you, you will have to spread it to the room unless it is a carry bag that can be installed on the plane. ● There is a customer service baby, so if possible, I asked if early check-in was possible. Then, the answer was ”Early check-in is impossible.” There is no word to decorate, only the above words. Next, he said, ”Well, I don't know if it's 14:30.” It was a call that I couldn't think of as a phone response from a very large hotel. I was disappointed before I went. The counter depends on the person, but I could see the customer service that was a little unpleasant. (Of course, there were some nice people) ● Meal time-specification I think there is Corona's support, so time-specification is OK, but what if you are late? When I visited, I was told, ”5 minutes is fine, but it's more difficult.” To be honest, it was difficult to travel to meet the time of the meal. I wanted communication such as having a little more grace or being able to change the time until a few minutes ago. Next time I will go to another accommodation.
