This is a fully self-service hotel apartment, and you need to download their app to know the specific facilities and towels replacement and the rules for various services, because Chinese phones are limited to Google, so their app doesn’t work. At first I felt very worthless, because the price was not cheap, and then the parking fee was 30 knives a day. If you clean the room, you have to charge separately.  But after staying for two nights, I found that no one disturbed it. It was very free like at home. Then the location of the hotel is very convenient. I will stay here again next time.

The location is superb, just beside Stanley Park, and it takes less than 5 minutes to walk left and walk. There are running lanes and bicycle lanes in the park, and each lane does not interfere with each other and is very safe. Walk along the park to the Rose Garden and Aquarium, or walk to Second Beach. It can provide larger knives and cutting boards. Of course, it is incomparable with domestic ones. It can be used together, and can also provide rice cookers. There are Chinese supermarkets and restaurants nearby, which satisfies my Chinese stomach. The room has a kitchen with complete kitchenware. We heated milk ourselves in the morning and heated bread in the microwave. It was really convenient. I will stay here again next time!

Nice clean hotel in a lovely area of the city. Though, we booked a double room with a seaview, but upon arival at the hotel, they told us that only standard city view rooms were available. That was a bit disappointing. Also, cold insulation in the room wasn't good and heating system did not work properly. We asked the hotel staff if anything could be done, and they brought us a portable room heater, which saved the day. We had breakfast at the bar on the first floor and it was truly fantastic. Overall, the hotel was nice and we consider coming back in the future.

Very poor staff, not helpful at all. We booked two nights first, then had to move to our up graded unit which cost three times the amount, full apartment, but have to pay for everything extra, stove, pots, microwave, kettle, why tell people you have booked a kitchen when nothing works until you pay for every item extra. The room is not an upgrade, it is actually the same as the cheaper one. We had to wait and put all our belongings into storage or 4 and half hrs, to move to our up graded unit, because the manager told us there were no units available. Through trip. Com there are units available right away, even the day before or after. Totally unprofessional, we finally got into our unit 4:45pm when had other units available, or at least have that unit cleaned first, when we’re just changing rooms. Very bad service, when do you have to write a good review before you move into your room. That should be illegal.

We were very happy with our stay at sandman suites we were able to checkin 3 hours early. Room was very clean and had everything we needed for 1 night. We had been travelling for 7 days and had trouble drying clothes we had washed so a very nice housemaid took them and put them through the hotel dryer and returned them in 30 minutes at no extra charge.

To be honest I don't really understand where those bad reviews came from. The location is very convenient, 10 mins drive from the airport and free airport shuttle is running every 30mins till 11:30pm (I took the last bus). Hotel is dated but it is very well maintained and clean. Theres also a small grocery store and a very nice little Japanese restaurant nearby - bonus point. Receptionists were helpful and friendly. Happy hour at the restaurant was such a good deal too.

Staying at this place during my Vancouver trip was absolutely the right and fortunate choice! I truly hope to have the chance to return. The **location is incredibly convenient**, situated very close to both the airport and downtown tourist attractions. A public transit station is just 1.5km away, and there's a bus stop only 400 meters from the property, making getting around a breeze. What truly set this stay apart was the **host's exceptional guidance and warmth**. From the moment I confirmed my booking until just before my arrival, they promptly emailed me detailed directions tailored to my estimated arrival time, including clear instructions on how and where to access the property. What was especially heartwarming was that I arrived past 10 PM when it was completely dark, yet the host had already turned on the warm yellow lights in the living room and backyard for me. It was like a welcoming beacon in the dark, instantly making me feel comfortable and at home. The **room itself was well-equipped, spotless, and incredibly tidy**. The bedroom linens were pristine, and it came with a handy wardrobe, a private bathroom, and reliable WiFi. The dominant white color scheme made everything feel bright and airy, but more importantly, every single item was meticulously cleaned, which truly enhanced my overall mood and stay. Beyond the private space, the **shared amenities were excellent**. On the ground floor, guests have access to a fully equipped kitchen, a comfortable living room, and a washing machine, making the facilities truly comprehensive and convenient. Finally, the **surrounding environment and air quality were superb**. The house is nestled in a residential area surrounded by other homes and plenty of trees. Being off the main road, there was absolutely no noise, allowing us to fully appreciate the fresh air and tranquility of this lovely garden-like setting within the city. Very convenient location if your sim is to be right in the city center. The two subway train lines are within a couple of minutes walk ,as is the main high street. The Canada line provides a direct route to the train station (tip: buy a day ticket and it will cost less that the ticket to cross zones plus the additional airport surcharge). The Canada line is so convenient that if you did not care about being in the city center then staying somewhere else along the line further out may be cheaper. Hostel was clean and well organized. There is a strict no eating in the room policy, though there are kitchen facilities to be used. Hire a towel. Rooms and front entrance has key card access. Room has no Aircon so can be warm, though there is a small electric fan. The room with two beds has bunk bed, cages under the bed and a stool….that is it. There are no privacy curtains, individual dockets or lights for each bed, only the main room light so make sure you have a touch/light, though as the curtains do not block all street light the room feels as it has a nightlight on and does not ever get really dark. I stayed Saturday and Sunday night. Sunday was quiet , though the hostel is above a bar and do Saturday had music playing for many hours while trying to get to sleep not the place for light sleepers.

It was fantastic to stay in a newly opened Air B&B suite where we enjoyed a high-level privacy and a very tranquil neighborhood. The owners were very kind and always tried their best to facilitate our stay. If this suite appeared earlier in the list, I'd definitely booked all my stay in this place. The location has an easy access to King Edward Ave by using a staircase at Puget Dr & W 24 street. All-in-one with kitchen, laundry and parking just made it so family friendly and homy. As others have noted, there is a club next door that is open Fridays and Saturdays. You don't know this until you arrive and the ear plugs they give you are not the best. It didn't really bother us as we were so tired from travelling across country and exploring Vancouver all day, but to anyone just coming in, you might not be getting the best night's sleep.
