We stayed here for 1 night. You do have to check in at Hostal Victoria 1 but it is literally a couple of minutes away from Hostal Victoria 2. This wasn’t a problem at all. The hotel is Old style but it’s perfectly fine it was very clean, yes it was small but we were only sleeping in the room didn’t spend hardly any time in there as was a shopping & sightseeing trip. Beds were really comfy and the room had central heating. There was a fridge on the room, A safe and Toiletries. It is Located right in the city surrounded by loads and loads of shops and places to eat and 5 mins to Gran Via. It is right by the train station too. We had a room with balcony overlooking the square it’s so lovely at Christmas time as your looking right on to the Xmas tree. It was busy on the street but it didn’t keep us awake or bother us in the night we slept great. Yes you do have to ring a buzzer to get in the building and to get in to your landing but this is good the hotel is in an apartment block like many others so this is for security and to stop people who aren’t staying here getting in. There is CCTV to let you in when you ring the buzzer. Didn’t find this a problem at all and could always get in the hotel when pressing the buzzer. Hotel had WI-FI too. Great all round hotel and amazing location. Would definitely stay here again. :)

Set just a few metres from Puerta del Sol, Hostal Victoria I offers an ideal setting in central Madrid. It features rooms with free Wi-Fi and a 24-hour reception. The bright, classically decorated rooms at Hostal Victoria I have air conditioning, a fridge and satellite TV. There is a private bathroom with free toiletries.A wide range of cafés, tapas bars and restaurants can be found in the neighbouring square and in the streets surrounding the guest house. Gran Vía Avenue is just 5 minutes’ walk away.Staff can provide information on Madrid’s many attractions. The Art Triangle, including the famous Prado Museum, can be reached in 20 minutes by foot.Puerta del Sol Metro Station is just 60 metres away and is 3 stops from Atocha Railway Station. Barajas International Airport can be reached in 30 minutes by Metro.

The biggest advantage of the hotel is its good location, Sun Plaza in the city center, all restaurants and bars below, shopping, zara opposite the hotel. The shortcomings are general hygiene. The bed linen is nothing like home in the county seat. There is no heating in the house. The corridor has heating. It is very cold. The bathing and washing hot water is very bad after 9pm. There is an underground public parking lot 200 meters around the hotel, but it seems expensive. It costs about 30 euros a night. You can park in the area next to the hotel one or two blocks. The blue or green line is between 9pm and 9am It's free. Before that, you have to pay by the hour. There are parking machines to collect the slips and put them at the window. Next time I come to Madrid, I won't choose here, the navigation is not accurate, I will lead to a street next to it, and go around a lot. The service is quite satisfactory, and the urban area of the map is convenient for traveling. You can live here, but there is nothing to play in the urban area of Madrid. Self driving is not recommended to live here

Especially good, the location is super good, after renovation, the glass is very soundproof, double-layer, give me room and terrace, the room is also very large, the hand soap is very good, the staff is very warm, the sol is there in the west of the hotel. In the construction, the raspberry bear ( ́-ω-`) is just east, there is no construction here. Not far from the airport bus, in short, I like it very much. It’s not good to be entangled in Samsung before. It’s really great after I live. I like it very much. Very good, better than the Metz hotel.

After the reservation was made the night before, I was particularly satisfied with the requirements of sleeping for the environment, and then stayed. The young lady at the front desk is very good. When I left, I asked how to get to the airport. I told me in detail how to get there. I will choose if I go to Madrid next time.

It is an adequate hostal like others in Madrid. The rooms are ordinary but the bathrooms were really clean. It has 2 advantages, though. First, it is between Plazas Mayor and Sol, a very short walk to reach either one. Second, the staff allow you to leave your luggage free of charge. Hotels offer this accommodation but not all hostals. This is makes it an ideal base for tourists who want to visit the Castile area of Spain or even those who want to go on the Camino Portugues or Frances. The staff were very accommodating, to the point that they even offered to store in their refrigerator the perishables we bought before we arrived in Spain.

Must check in after 2 o'clock, things can be stored for free. After checking in, the door suddenly opened after taking a shower. Come in a white man. Startled me. It turned out that the front desk arranged the same room for others. Going downstairs with that guest ended the matter immediately. The price of this hotel will then be cheaper than elsewhere. But it's okay to live inside. Feel the price will be high. The main location is good and the shopping and dining are super convenient.

I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone traveling solo who has friends or relatives in the city. They don’t allow any visitors not even for quick visit but on top of that the staff are extremely rude and disrespectful. They charged my card, the minute they found out I didn’t agree to their house rule, which were nowhere to be found on the website. One of the concierges went upstairs and charged my credit card without my permission, it was a really shady and sneaky move. I couldn’t bear to stay there with these people. They lost my trust in a matter of minutes, so I ended up booking an airbnb with a really friendly host who really respected my privacy. They took my money, and provided no service at all. It was a straight up scam!! These people are the absolute worst!!! They also asked me where I was from and they said that “unlike in my country” they had rules to follow, adding up to my humiliation. You’d be better off staying at an airbnb.

The location is good, the alleys are the Puerta del Sol and the subway station. It is convenient to go anywhere. There are many dining options. There are Ingles department stores nearby. There are supermarkets below, you can buy milk, bread, salad, yogurt or something. Going to the Royal Palace in Madrid is also very close, you can walk. The hotel's room is small, there is no place to open the two big boxes, because the bed is open, and the rest of the space is very small. The safety is not bad. On the 2nd and 3rd floors of the building, the elevator is also very small. Hygienic in general, but the quilt blanket in the room is not covered, the sleep is uncomfortable, the combing table is in the room, and the shower is separate, which is not convenient. The breakfast delivered by the hotel is very good. In the small alley on the right hand side of the hotel, walking is very close. The bacon toast made in the store is very delicious. If you go out later, you can save your lunch.

These recently refurbished apartments have a charming, rustic style, which contrasts with their location right in the cultural heart of Madrid. Set between Puerta del Sol and Plaza Mayor, the Apartamentos Mayor Centro enjoy a unbeatable situation for exploring this cultural capital on foot. From here you can easily reach the Royal Palace, Gran Vía, the Retiro Park and numerous shops and tapas bars. Apartments sleep up to 5 guests and come with their own kitchens, allowing you to spend an independent stay with friends or family. The homely decor and furnishings come in wood and wrought iron.

Overall, the price is very high, and the trip is close to the Atocha train station, but it is very tiring to push the suitcase. There are 2 supermarkets near the hotel. It is convenient to buy daily necessities, and it is also near to Lichi Park . You have to clean the room by yourself. The room is quite large. On the last day, you must pay attention to LOCKER who checked out your luggage. Otherwise, it will be used up by others and there will be no place to send it. . . . .

Can be an extra bed, we are 8 years old and there is no extra bed fee. But this time the hygiene is not good. On the day of the check-in, the bathtub in the room was all sand and stone. It was not cleaned. Waiting for the waiter to open the night bed, I asked for cleaning. In the evening, I went to the small garden to rest, and I ordered a glass of champagne. The waiter actually used a glass of water-filled glass (estimated to be washed and not dried) and poured champagne directly to me, hehe! The next day, the children will sleep more than 7 o'clock in the afternoon. As a result, the children's bed and the quilt are inexplicably wet. Later I went to the front desk and asked them to make better bedding. Very hurt. In such a good location, the rest of the hotel is very good, it is a sanitary situation, it is unacceptable.

We stayed at the H10 Hotel Puerta de Alcalá at the end of May and middle of June. The hotel was very comfortable and well located. We particularly enjoyed the rooftop deck with great views of Madrid and Retiro Park. The rooms were very comfortable, quiet, and clean. On a day trip I mistakenly left my camera bag in a taxi. On my return to the hotel later that day, Juan C. at reception helped me begin communications with the taxi company to try to locate the camera bag. For the next few weeks after I had returned home to Canada, Juan diligently followed up and coordinated with the taxi company, organized payment for retrieval of the camera bag then prepared it for shipment to my home in Canada. He went above and beyond the usual service expected at a hotel and I wanted to point out his excellent assistance. Robert S.

Hotel location is good, just beside the Plaza de España, the subway station is at the door, the transportation is convenient. The hotel is very special, especially in the hotel lobby, the decoration is more artistic, the color is beautiful. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean with complimentary bottled water. Overall very satisfied. If you come again, you will choose to stay again. There is a swimming pool in the hotel and there is no time to experience it. The only regret is that the Plaza de España was renovated and was blocked and could not see the view inside the square.

The location of the hotel is in a residential area. The original layout was one bedroom, one living room, one kitchen and two bathrooms. We visited Madrid for my wife's birthday and picked this hotel for its location and amenities. The room was very comfortable offering a great view along Gran Via from our balcony. The breakfast was very good and set us up for the day. The hotel bar and coffee shop were very handy to have close by. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The location was excellent and nowhere was to far to walk to. You must try the Churros and chocolate sauce and visit the San Miguel food market. We had a brilliant stay and would love to visit again.

There was no room service, we went out to shop, have breakfast outside of the hotel, because the breakfast was so bad, old croissants, Scrambled eggs, from liquid cartons, a few pieces of Chorizo, and hard white bunny bread. No ventilation in the room, and the house phone doesn't work. not enough wall power plugs, luckily we bring our own, universal power strip with 4 USB connections. Wifi is very slow. Maid service does not clean the room when you leave in the morning to go out, would not recommend, hard to give a rating. word of advice, skip breakfast here, and go to some of the nice coffee patisserie places nearby. A suggestion to management of hotels, please add an HDMI Connection so users can watch their own channels, netflix, Amazon, etc.

Let me talk about location and environment. Good location near the center of Madrid, convenient and quick. But it's not the standard four-star hotel, it's just an air b & b, where is the price, so you can't expect too much. The face of the door is very small, so small that you miss it accidentally. You need to pay attention to the b & b sign. After entering, there is no reception hall of the four or five-star hotel, but there is a friendly, warm, warm and lovely reception desk, and the room will be available after going up. It's clean and tidy, with everything you need, two beds, small shelves, storage space, writing desk, and separate wet and dry bathroom. But the space is smaller than the hotel, not suitable for children. Breakfast is the same. It is open 24 hours. It is self-catering. There is a coffee machine that can provide a variety of hot drinks. There are also simple cookies and fruits to eat. The dining space is simple and clean. If the weather is good, you can go to the elegant and clean terrace outside. . It is worth mentioning that the waiter thoughtfully put a bag of cakes on the door handle in the morning, and it felt great. Can not be measured by star hotel standards, but overall the price is very high.

We arrived by foot at around 8pm having walked from the Madrid Atocha railway station which took us a slow 35 minutes (walking back to the train station on our leaving day was around 25 minutes due to it being downhill on the Calle de Atocha road). On arrival we walked into the Mola Hostel reception area and gave our passport to the reception desk, after a few minutes she realised we were Mola Suites customers and told us to go next door (adjoining building). What we did not realise is this is essentially a hostel with an aparthotel section next door in its sister company. At the other reception we were served by Stephanie on check in who was very friendly and informative. We found the English speaking staff to be very helpful on the whole, particularly Ashleigh was really friendly and Randy who helped us print our train tickets for us (thank you Randy). After the next day we realised the 2 reception desks are accessible and there for all customers (both hostel and apartments). There is a downstairs bar / breakfast area (we did not book the breakfast which was 5 EUR each per day on advanced internet booking with accommodation or 6 EUR each per day on day of breakfast), it also had a cool breakout area and things like a PlayStation and stuff mainly for the backpackers and youngsters who are staying in the hostel although it is open to everyone. It looked like there was also a communal laundry and washing facility in that common room. The location is also excellent, it is very close to the Madrid Plaza Mayor and in fact we were able to pretty much see all of Madrid's main sightseeing elements in one day by walking 30 minutes in both directions from the hotel. Onto the room and we were at first impressed with the clean decor and comfortable furniture. The kitchen is well equipped and there is a shower over bath in the adjoining en-suite. The bedroom had twin adjoined beds with separate duvets and the living room had 2 comfortable sofa beds. There are 2 A/C machines that are controlled with the same remote which is not great and then there is a central heating system for the whole building which came on a few times. The room had a dishwasher, washing machine, full utensils in the kitchen and washing tablets. Onto the downsides and unfortunately it is why we cannot give this hotel a better rating and that is that 1) the bathroom smells of sewage, not only the bathroom but also the common areas like the reception and lift. It is god awful. 2) the Wi-Fi is terrible, I was unable to do any backups of my photos and the connection is very intermittent, I was able to stream but not at great quality, and last but not least 3) the very close proximity to where the rooms are overlooking the next door ICOn club which is loud until 5am, this meant we had very little or poor sleep. A couple of the nights resulted in us witnessing fights outside the club and the rowdy revellers can be heard through the apartment. If you don't mind not having a great

Conveniently located in the heart of Madrid. The central point of Madrid is concentrated and the walking tour is also very convenient. This location is ideal for walking around the museums, churches and more. The Youth Hostel itself seems to be a whole building with a large scale, so the service is relatively complete. The facilities should be the standard of the general youth travel, you need to bring your own password lock to lock the luggage stored in the room, and do not provide any toiletries. Unfortunately, if you want to store your luggage, it is not free. You need to store it in the locker downstairs. (Large baggage can also be put down, don't worry about it.) But if the room itself is facing the street, there will be noise problems. People in other beds will inevitably have the sound of entering or leaving the luggage.

This hotel is great! We stayed here for 5 nights and felt as pleasant and comfortable as staying at home. First of all, the hotel is in a great location, the gate is directly opposite the road to the Atocha Railway Station (you need to transfer to Chamartin Railway Station 2 platforms if you take the train from the airport to the hotel). There is a subway about five meters at the entrance of the hotel (we did not take the subway at all. All the main attractions are within walking distance). The Queen Sophia National Art Center Museum is just behind the building where the hotel is located (two minutes walk), and the Prado Museum, the Tissen Museum, the Madrid Palace, the Sun Gate Square, the Mayor Square, etc. are also within walking distance (about 10-20 minutes). In addition, you can walk across a beautiful bookstore street (also a pedestrian street) opposite the hotel to the scenic Lichi Park (about 3-5 minutes walk), take a walk along the straight mall in the park, see the leaves gradually turn from green to yellow under the blue sky, feel the autumn charm, very beautiful. You can also go boating on the lake, bird watching, rose watching, visiting the crystal palace, and sit on the steps under the sculptures of the lake like the locals, basking in the sun, leaving time to rest... Secondly, the hotel check-in procedures are simple, the staff is warm and friendly, and the English is fluent (we have booked two rooms and two room types. The hotel directly arranged for us to a larger room type. Although there is a small problem in the middle, the hotel has given a solution in time). The hotel room is large in size, very clean and bright, the decoration style is simple and generous, warm and comfortable. In addition to the non-bathrobe, slippers and dental appliances, the room offers a wide range of other daily necessities and equipment (including shampoo, shower gel, hand sanitizer, capsule coffee maker, electric kettle, washing machine, induction cooker, dishwasher, pots and pans, etc.) It's almost as convenient as it is at home. The washing machine does not have drying function, but there is a small dryer behind the bathroom door that heats up, and small pieces of clothes can be dried in one night. The hotel gave two Nestle coffee capsules on the day we stayed, which was delicious. Later we bought coffee capsules cheaper than the hotel in a nearby small supermarket (a box of Nestle coffee capsules for 7 euros) and were delicious. Although the hotel is on the main road, the room becomes quiet immediately after closing the balcony door and window, and almost no noise is heard. The bedding and sofa are very comfortable, lying on the sofa before going to bed reading and watching TV is very comfortable (the small books in the room are both children's books and Spanish and Portuguese travel books, beautifully decorated, rich in content, and some art magazines, awesome!). The hotel is not big, the room is not much, the corridor is very quiet, and occasionally meets guests from different countries and speaks different languages in the stairwell. In addition, the hotel is surrounded by restaurants and supermarkets such as Carrefour, which is convenient for eating and buying daily necessities. The only fly in the ointment is that the sewer in the shower is small, and the shower is very big (constant temperature is very comfortable), so it is easy to accumulate water, it takes a minute or two to turn off the water for a while, otherwise the water will accumulate over the foot. Overall, we are still very satisfied with this stay and highly recommend it.

Can be loud at night since you are in the Plaza Del Sol . Once I am asleep it is not a problem. We like the price and security to day trip and sometimes stay overnight in other cities. The price is right, and you don’t sacrifice cleanliness, security, or location. Toledo, Avila, Segovia, , Salamanca, and Cuenca are great day trips. Always opt for the Ave high speed train.
