We have lived in Carlsbad for over 40 years and have throughout the years seen this hotel across the street from the beach. My grown daughter (who now lives in Carlsbad with her family) and I were looking for a girls get-a-way and decided to stay local. This hotel, which has been around forever, has been beautifully updated! The rooms are spacious, the furniture pleasing, the beds outstanding! Our room even had a small kitchen! The grounds are beautifully landscaped, there is a fire pit which they light nightly, a jacuzzi, and a small pool. The stairs to the beach are immediately across the street and it's a beautiful beach. Once parked in the hotel lot, numerous restaurants, bars, day spas, and shops are within easy walking distance. We plan to do this on an annual basis. We had a ball!!!

It can be said that it is the cheapest one in the entire San Diego county, but the room is small but clean. It doesn't smell like other motels! Good location. It takes 5 minutes to get to the beach, restaurants, supermarkets, and parking is very convenient. It’s the manager of the front desk, the couple is A3. How should I evaluate it? The front desk service is still very good, because my family had a wounded man with a broken leg and crutches. I specially arranged the first floor and showed me first. But when I entered the hall, the cleaner was mopping the floor and the floor was slippery. My patient fell again and was injured twice. The most important thing is that, for some reason, Ctrip sent a text message saying that we did not check in and deducted another time. I wonder if it's a Ctrip problem or a hotel problem? In short, the communication is not smooth. This is the second time that the check-in information cannot be checked for repeated deductions during this trip to the US Causes us a lot of trouble. I hope Ctrip will pay attention to it instead of blocking my comments

The front desk service was huge. We arrived at the hotel at around 12 o'clock in the evening. We had a long-distance drive all day. We thought that the sheraton service could not be bad. I knew that the front desk was a fat white man. When I checked in, I kept rolling my eyes all the time. When I applied for membership, I was too sleepy and didn't respond. I asked a question. The front desk immediately replied, "I am very busy today, don't ask me to see it yourself." At that time, I thought it might be too late. The front desk had emotions, and it was true that in April, it was obvious that the trash was a hostile phenomenon. After the completion of the process, I did not tell me how to find the room, just an understatement, "Go through the door." As a result, there was only 3 floors in the back of the lobby, and our room number was 50. I asked him back. He confirmed that he was on the 5th floor. He immediately left the lobby and told him not to look back. In desperation, I had to bite the scalp on the third floor. Fortunately, I met a couple of black couples who went downstairs to buy wine in the middle of the night. They were very friendly and said that they also found a room for a long time during the day. The actual situation is that the sheraton hotel and the next resort share the lobby and porch. You need to go upstairs through the hotel room corridor, find a glass door at the end, swipe the card and then take the elevator to the resort floor. On the night of the check-in, I sent a complaint letter to the Shereton complaint mailbox. It has been two months since I saw it. Today I saw the app reminder comment. The disgusting feeling of Lima is coming to the fore, and I have to give a bad review.

The rooms are very large and clean. The pool is divided into adults and children. The children must go to the children's pool every day. There is a great beer house restaurant at the entrance of the hotel. You can solve the problem by visiting Legoland. Outlet is less than 5 minutes drive from the hotel, recommend the Grand Pacific Hotel to Legoland, walk no more than 10 minutes

In a square, across the road is Ole Ole is close to the hotel. There are seven or eight restaurants on the side of the hotel. There is a free shuttle bus to Legoland. The parking place is 10 meters next to the park gate. It is more convenient and cheaper than own parking! The room facilities are relatively old. The two-story small building before the cycling hotel was surrounded. A small pool can be called a resort hotel. The resort fee is also collected. For the resort fee, you have to go for a swim. Breakfast is better than the room Be average. But look at the price compared with the surroundings. The location and the tip are not too cute to the shuttle driver. I will choose here next time.

My spouse and I were here on our way back from a wine tasting in Temecula Valley, about less than an hour from this hotel. It's a mini-getaway for the long weekend. I'm a big fan of Westin's bed, and their beautiful robe; and this hotel hooked us up with a large, ocean view room on the 3rd floor. The gym was clean, the courtyard is large enough with a great hillside view, along with pool, spa, and games galore including an outside pool table which basically made my weekend. The room itself is newly renovated, there was a free water bottle, and there's a lanai if you care for some fresh air, albeit tight. My only con for this hotel was the tattered towel. I think that they should just chuck it and replace it. It just cheapens the room. The lobby is chic, spacious, and the decor is just perfect. Parking is $24 valet or self. We ate breakfast at the main dining room, and the food is reasonable and really good. The bar area is lively at night, but not too crowded. There's also a Starbucks window in the property. The direction to the place is a bit confusing, but the property is overall nice. It also is next door to the Legoland, and you can actually see some of the attractions. Great hotel, will come back again.

Ctrip's international booking is still not reliable. After sending a confirmation text message, the front desk cannot find the order number when checking in, and the confirmation text message sent by Ctrip does not have an order number. Contact Ctrip for a long time to resolve it. In addition, I have already served the fee on Ctrip. The hotel swiped the credit card for pre-authorization. As a result, the consumption amount was swiped when leaving the store. Fortunately, it was found in time to flow to Ctrip, and it was retrieved after the bill was provided. So, Ctrip International is still very unreliable. The same is true for the last time the Venetian Macao was booked. The hotel could not check the order and it took a long time. Still have to book more secure. It is sure that Ctrip customer service feedback is more timely and proactive

Breakfast is plentiful and the breakfast area is large. Parking is free and there is plenty of parking. The room is spacious and clean. There is a self-service laundry service on the first floor. The laundry is 2.25 knives and the clothes are 2 knives. However, there is no coin exchange at the front desk. My coin is just enough to wash clothes, but not enough clothes. When I go to wash clothes, I don’t have any money at the front desk when I go to the front desk to change coins. So I wash my clothes first, thinking about not delaying the time, and then I will change the 2 knife coins. Clothes, so miserable, the front desk said that there is no coin, can only take wet clothes to the outside laundry, or go outside to change coins and then return to dry clothes. Then the old public car went out to exchange coins, and when they came back, they lost their way. For this reason, the delay was more than two hours, which led directly to the arranged Legoland to play for more than two hours. !

Terrible stay. Terrible customer service. Whoever is in charge of this hotel needs to look into how it's being managed. Train the staff on dealing with check-ins and check-outs so that customers do not feel disregarded, offended and privacy is not violated. PLEASE. 1) Their check-in time is at 3:00 pm. It is 3:30 pm and the guy at the front desk says the room wasn't ready and to come back in 30 minutes. Two other guests in line were checked in, no issues. Just our room wasn't ready. I assumed it was because we needed a pet friendly room. I even told my husband that they probably only set aside a few rooms for pets. We were totally understanding. Instead of coming back on my own and having to keep checking, I asked the guy at the front desk if he could call me when the room was ready. He was hesitant (excuse me, I'm the one waiting and being incredibly polite that you just told me you're behind schedule a whole hour) but took down my phone number anyways. A few minutes later I bring my son back into the lobby to use the restroom, I see the other guy and ask him if the room is ready. He says yes it is. What?! The first guy telling me "30 minutes" after I'm already waiting out here 30 minutes after the supposed check-in time makes it 1 hour. I would've waited with my kids 1 full hour, and who knows if anyone would've called me if I didn't happen to check only a few minutes later on my own... the original guy who took my phone number down wasn't even there anymore! To have a guest wait 1 hour after check-in time based off your random guess as to how long it takes to clean the room is NOT ok. 2) Day of check out- 10 something in the morning. Check-out is at 12 pm. We moved our suitcase to the car. We had NOT checked out. We did NOT check out yet. I cannot emphasize enough, we did NOT check out over the phone, in person, NOTHING. We could've been moving our suitcase for ANY reason, but when we went back there no more than 2 minutes later, the cleaning lady was IN THERE CLEANING THE ROOM! With our stuff still there. WHAT IS WRONG WITH THESE PEOPLE... check in, check out, PLEASE LEARN what this MEANS. Unless I tell you we are checking out, we have paid and have every right to leave at the appointed time. That is insane that anyone thinks it's ok to enter into your room with your things still there. Are you KIDDING ME. And we had a DO NOT DISTURB sign hanging!! 3) I go to the front desk to ACTUALLY check out and just notify her (nicely) of the fact that housekeeping broke into our room two hours before check-out time. The girl is polite and says she's sorry about that but yes, housekeeping will enter the room and start cleaning if they feel like it doesn't have as much things lying around. Uh, we had a bunch of THINGS that CLEARLY are not trash strewn across the counter and on the floor, what do you mean? My husband still came down with arms full of stuff - my question is, how would we know if housekeeping threw out our stuff before he got ther

The hotel above the mountain, close to the Lego Center, diagonally opposite the 711 hotel, parking is convenient for no money. Walked across the road. The big supermarket is open for half an hour. It is good to eat Ole to the foot of the mountain. There is a car in the United States, and no car is really not good. It is recommended to walk along the coastline, and the American style is very interesting. The beach is also good. Looking at the old beauty surfing, the water in the summer is actually very cool.

One employee changed my whole experience here, so I want to really remember the pools, and the view, and the restaurant. Our room was top floor in Pointe section and had beautiful East balcony views of golf, airplanes & mountain s. Lucky enough to even get snow while we were here! Also western views over the pool and sunsets were really good. I came from a long way away, and spent 3 days here with my beau. The giant bathtub was soooo nice! He left for work, then I went to my Dad’s house for Thanksgiving Day. When I returned on Friday, every light in the place was on. The bed was stripped, sheets piled on floor. It looked like a burglary. I put everything back together, ate early dinner and was ready for bed about 6pm, exhausted from all the travel & holiday family... you know. Loud Knock at door, pounding at door & then door suddenly thrust open. I had the latch on, there was a lot of rattling & multiple slams, so it all seemed very violent. “Turndown service!” Well- I never requested turndown service. We didn’t have it Sunday, Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday.... So now this rude person wants to get in my face about my being here in my room on Friday. “There was no luggage in here when we came in”. Why were they “in” when I had “do not disturb” sign out ??!? I travel pretty light, and like to keep my options open. So I went somewhere else in the middle of my vacation, is that a problem? I had not checked out. Also I did not ever request Turndown Service. So..... I see that they are trying to do a great job here, but I do not need anything. Eventually the person says “Have some chocolates”. WTF? *Well, that’s going to make it all better....* So then .... here is where it gets nasty, This person does the exact same thing on Saturday, after I am already asleep in bed. Multiple poundings/shouting & Violently slamming door open twice. No chocolate this time, though. Thank God I was only here on an exchange. I have owned my timeshare elsewhere since ‘84, and never had anything like that happen anywhere, ever. I will never be back.

The location of the hotel is very good, it is definitely a summer resort in summer. There is no hotel private beach at all. Don't even think about it except to see a small bay or beach. The price is not cheap, nearly 500 dollars a night, the hotel only provides a few pool bubbles. There is a golf course, and the hotel staff is absolutely top-notch service, which is commendable.

Love this place! It’s not fancy if that’s what you are looking for but overall just awesome and a relaxing getaway. They have timeshare condos and also hotel rooms and we stay in the ocean view hotel rooms. All of the people who work here are so nice and accommodating! The location is fantastic. Right across from the beach and a million restaurants to choose from. They have grills for all to use and a ton of tables which makes it perfect for families. One suggestion I have is to get larger fridges for the rooms. You can cook, get take out, or walk anywhere. It’s always easy to get a seat by the pool and the parking is free. There is also a huge game room to hang out if the weather is bad. They have 2 hot tubs and a large pool. Overall just a great value and relaxing stay, lovely management. We come here each year and can’t wait to go back!
