Me and my boyfriend stayed here for 4 nights last weeks and it was perfect. Exactly like the pictures stunning rooms extremely good value for money and could not be more central to all the sights... Kraków is a beautiful city and I would highly recommend these apartments., make sure you receive your check in email as that has the key information to getting in to the property especially if reception is closed, we had a little trouble at first but was dealt with very efficiently . Overall a great place will definitely return

The location of this hotel is perfect. Just a few minutes walk from the main square and the Old town of Krakow. Also, a few steps away from the main bus/railway station and right next to the Galeria Krakowska shopping center. Rooms are modern and very clean. The staff is very kind, polite and helpful. When you book a room, you also have access to sauna and gym, which are very good. Breakfast is delicious, there is plenty of everything. We've been in this hotel for 5 days, and I can say that this is definitely the right choice for those who want to explore Krakow and enjoy their staying. Looking forward to visit the city and stay in this hotel again. 🙂🙂 Keep with the good work. 😉👌

The hotel is in an excellent location, just 200 meters from Krakow Railway Station and about 100 meters walk to the entrance to the Old Town. There is also a large shopping centre opposite the hotel. There is a paid parking lot behind the hotel, about 50 PLN per night. The hotel should be a very old hotel with a small facade, but the interior is very distinctive and has a European aristocratic atmosphere. The open-air restaurant is a garden and beautiful. The facilities in the room are also very well equipped, with a kettle, free mineral water, instant coffee and tea bags, and disposable slippers. We booked a twin room, the room was quite big, there was a big bed and a small bed, and a family of three could stay. The hotel staff is small, but very welcoming, giving us a detailed introduction to the route to the old town. We had to leave for the Auschwitz concentration camp early in the morning and had no time to eat breakfast. The hotel packed the breakfast for us according to our departure time. The only downside is that there is a tram line outside the hotel. The room near the street will hear the hum of the tram at night, but the sound insulation of the window is good. All in all, this hotel is very satisfying in terms of location, room facilities and service attitude and is worth recommending.

We stayed here for three nights, and really enjoyed our stay. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel, it is only a couple of minutes stroll from the historic centre. The staff were helpful and very friendly. The room was spacious and clean, and very quiet. I think we were lucky here as our room was at the back of the hotel, so quiet, other guests at the front of the hotel, had more of a problem with noise. So if you do stay here then I would suggest you check out the location of your room. The breakfast was excellent, with a good selection of cold meats/sausage, and local cheeses. One quibble was as is so often the case the coffee at breakfast was terrible. The only other minor issues were there was a great shower, but no bath, and there was only one pillow on the bed, and I needed two, but neither issue spoilt our stay. If we are ever back in Kraków, we would certainly stay here again.

When we first saw this hotel we were unsure, it looked too good to be true. But nevertheless we booked and when we arrived I was shocked at how spectacular the hotel is. The art decor around the hotel is breathtaking and it’s a part of history that everyone should see. The elevators to the floors are key card operated so it’s safer but you are able to get to all floors. The rooms have everything you could want from a hotel room. The bathroom was gorgeous and very clinical. The maids are kind and helpful, even checking to make sure you want your towels changed and linen. The hotel is across the road from the Galleria Krakowska shopping mall which has everything you can want or need in one place. Within the hotel there are breakfast facilities at an extra cost that is a buffet and is fantastic with waffles, pastries and hot breakfast. Not to mention lots of hot drink and cold drink options. 100% would recommend and stay here again.

When reception hands you a discount card for all the beer you can drink happy hour on arrival, you have to question the taste level... If this is your bag then you will love this place... Otherwise read on... Cleanliness is an issue here, under the bed was filthy and there were remnants from a previous guest behind the bedside table... I don’t need a piece of paper over the toilet seat to tell me it’s been cleaned, this should be a given... I’m more concerned with the tv remote and general cleanliness which is dangerously lacking. It’s doesn’t make you feel safe in the current corona world... The apartments are new but there are no usb points in the room so bring an adaptor if you are an international visitor. One of the bedside tables doesn’t have any power to plug into... The blinds are sheer so good luck if you want to sleep in darkness after sunrise! The cheap ikea furniture is starting to show signs of wear.... lumpy pillows, cheap bedding - it’s all very basic... The WiFi is practically non existent and you will get faster speed on your 3G mobile signal so don’t bother... There is a standing fan in the room which you will need because the air conditioning doesn’t work - I presume this is a known defect - otherwise why put the fan??? It’s a shame because this place has real potential - they clearly don’t care however! Thankfully ours was a one night stay....

This is an aparthotel that is owned by the Polonia Hotel next door. Upon arrival, you need to get the key to the building from Polonia Hotel. You also have your breakfast in Polonia. A friend and I stayed for four nights in a twin room for about £100 each. Such a good price for being so central! The location was fantastic, being opposite the train station, trams and just a short walk from the centre of Krakow. There are restaurants and shops all around, as well as convenience stores. The breakfast was great, with a selection of hot and cold foods including, sausages, eggs, fruit, yoghurts, bread, cakes, cereals, salads etc etc. Can't fault it. The room was lovely. It was extremely spacious with very comfy beds, plug sockets by the bed (a rarity!), a kettle, TV (no English channels), blackout blinds, a safe and a shower. There wasn't a bath, but we knew that when we booked. I suppose it was a little bit noisy as the windows weren't double-glazed, but we were so tired by the time we went to bed that it didn't really affect anything. All in all, we had a lovely time. The only thing I think it worth flagging is that you have to climb stairs to get to your room in the hotel. I didn't ask if there was a lift, but I don't think there was. Those who are less mobile may find this hotel unsuitable.

Great value for money. All the staff was very helpful and friendly. Location is excellent just few minutes walk from Krakow center and very close to the central train station (making arriving and departing by train very conveniant). Being near the train tracks you can hear the trains go by, but didn't find this disturbing and had a great sleep. Room was very clean and simple to get around in (internet, temperature control, tv, coffee/tea). Shower clean, good water preasure. Rich complimentary breakfast available from 07:00 - 10:00. Overall very happy with the stay.

Stayed here for three nights 12-15th feb. Checked in around midnight, the room was ready and checkin was quick. Given keys and code for the door and password. Lady on reception said we had been upgraded not sure what room difference was but nice touch. We were a couple of blocks back from reception which is less than a minute walk. There was a lift to get cases up to the room. Rooms were spacious. Bedroom with large bed, wardrobe with plenty of hangers, huge mirror. Bathroom was a fair size with washing machine In cupboard and water fall shower. Again good mirror for hair, makeup, shaving etc. Plenty of clean towels, toilet paper etc. (There was toiletries which we didn’t use) Living room/kitchen area was a good size. Large smart tv to log into Netflix etc. Table and chairs If required. Coffee, tea, milk, dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid and iron and ironing board all provide. There was also a balcony but with it being February it wasn’t used. Location was brill, literally walked everywhere. It’s about 10 minutes to the main square. 3-4 from the Galeria (main shopping centre) and about 20 minutes walk to the old town. We didn’t need to go to the reception once as everything was there we needed. Lady on reception allowed us to leave our case on check out and also allowed us to get something out of it during the day. Without a doubt would book here again If we went back. Thank you for a lovely stay - excellent value, will definitely recommend!

Stayed 3 nights as part of my surprise 50th birthday tour of Prague and Krakow and had a wonderful experience at this hotel. It is very modern, clean and friendly and would highly recommend. I cant fault the place really and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Had to move rooms straight away as we wanted a bath instead of just a shower but that was no problem for them. We never ate as there was so much choice externally on your doorstep. Unfortunately we were there just as the city and country closed down for Coronavirus but it just meant we could spend a little more time in the hotels excellent basement leisure facilities and swam in the intimate basement pool and used the sauna and steam room. Would HIGHLY recommend this hotel to stay if coming to beautiful Krakow and having stayed in dozens of fantastic hotels around the world this last 20 years this ranks in my top 10 easily.

Chose this hotel because of its reviews and location. Arrived 8pm and check in was easy with friendly reception and lovely young man as a porter who showed us to our room. Room 223 was perfect... good size, new bathroom with corner shower, which was powerful and always hot. Small wardrobe, but it was a city break so limited clothes. TV, clock radio plus lots of other little extras. Thin quilt as others have said but we were never cold and new high pillows. Bar and breakfast room was lovley, drinks reasonable price for a hotel. Breakfast was the usual choice for a city hotel and always hot with decent coffee. I have only given a 4 star because some of the staff were lovley and others on the rude side. Also I had read that the beds were hard and they were not joking. I suffer with a hip problem and was walking the floor at 3am on the first night in pain. I asked if they could help twice and was only given 2 small fleece blankets to put underneath. Needless to say I didnt sleep well for the 5 nights we were there which left me tired in the day and difficulty walking. I have had this problem in other hotels and its always been solved with somesort of mattress topper. Very disappointing but therwise I would highly recommend this hotel to others as location and overall it was fab.

A 4 part review: Let's start with the basics - clean, well maintained, warm, got all the stuff you need. Then let's talk covid measures - the hotel is well laid out, all the screens and social distancing is in place, lots of hand cleaner everywhere, and central services such as lobby toilets are closed at 10pm for safety. All good. Now the room itself - all clean and relatively well appointed, but the mattress was way too soft for my taste, as were the pillows, and the room (10th floor) was unbelievably hot. Fans are ok but it really needed some aircon to make it comfortable. Finally the best bit. The staff and service were fantastic. Particular mentions go to Ana at the bar, Agata who looked after us at dinner, Sebastien on reception and his female colleague who checked us in but i couldn't see her name. We were made to feel very welcome, always looked after, nothing was too much trouble for the staff and they seemed to treat us as individuals rather than "just another guest" Good service makes a massive difference wherever you stay. The hotel manager at Novotel West needs to pat themselves on the back, the staff here are brilliant and we had a great time because of them. Lucky, as it was our 32nd wedding anniversary!

Booked here with friends (golf trip) after reading reviews- I was expecting a bit better to be honest. We paid for a superior twin room with old town views , we were given a double room which had a slight glimpse of some chimneys, the main problem being the fact that it was a double . We were then moved to a ‘park view ‘ room on the other side of the hotel . This had two single beds in between two wall- fitted bedside cabinets, one could only separate the beds by a maximum of 6 inches so was in effect another double bedroom . We had to move one of the beds over to the window which turned out to be pretty noisy as we had to have it open because the rooms we about 30’ even with the very noisy ac on. It was 15’ outside. Ok , that’s the negative stuff...breakfast was pretty good but basic, the hotel is very clean and well situated and the staff are all friendly.

Stayed here for 3 nights from 7th December. Very modern hotel with colourful and tasteful decoration. Very friendly welcome from Magda on Reception when we arrived and all the other staff we met were equally friendly and helpful. Hotel has a bar and restaurant and plenty of sitting room in the open plan reception, bar and restaurant. Breakfast is buffet style and comprehensive. Room has everything you need for a few nights hairdryer,TV, plenty of space for clothes. Powerful shower over bath. Everywhere in this hotel was immaculately clean and tidy. Easy straight walk to Old Town (about 15 mins) or catch the Tram no. 14 from round the corner. ( you can buy tickets from Reception ). Would certainly recommend.

After a nightmare journey to Krakow the last thing we wanted was a further let down with the place we were staying. Thank goodness it wasn't! Rakowicka Residence is an absolute diamond of a property in a quiet area just 15mins stroll to the Market Square, where most things in Krakow happen. On the walk to the square you also pass a huge shopping mall so it's very convenient for some retail therapy as well. The room was spotless as was the bathroom and shower. Our room on the 5th floor had 2 skylights for natural light. There was a table and 2 chairs, lots of storage space, a kettle, coffee machine, a safe, clean towels and shower gel/shampoo and bottled soap in the bathroom. There is a lift to the top floor. Access is by keypad at the front door and for your room. We felt very secure in the area, which appeared to be a business quarter with 2 large banks HQ's close by. We are hoping to return again to Krakow this year and would have no hesitation of booking Rakowicka Residence. Before signing off I should mention the staff at the apartment. We were meant to arrive in Krakow at 12:00 but that ended up being 20:15 so by the time we got to the apartment is was close to 10pm. I kept in touch with Magdalena via emails during the journey explaining our delay, so she kindly gave me the access details as we would be there past her finishing time of 21:00. We got there she was still there to make sure that we were OK. Service above and beyond. We met with 3 of the staff and all were excellent and helpful
