|4.19km from city centerel hotel es un complejo enorme, las habitaciones estan distribuidas en varias hectareas, la atencion fue excelente, nos gusto muchisimo que la estar lejos del centro el hotel tiene TODO lo que necesitas, muchos detalles como un minimercado (con precios normales) donde conseguis bebidas frescas, lacteos, cigarrillos, etc, agua caliente gratis, el bar de la pileta (al mediodia) es excelente, comimos re barato y ruquisimo, a la noche abre el restoran que tiene cena tipo buffet y no muy variada, pro el precio esta bien, pero hay otras opciones cerca. Las habitaciones necesitan un poco de amor, pero estan correctas, limpias, algo viejitas pero por el precio que tienen creo que estan bien. Sin duda volveria y lo seguire recomendando

The staff is also kind and perfect if you just sleep.
However, the shower is bad, so I don't recommend it to those who are not accustomed to overseas or want to take a shower firmly.
The amenities were no soap for some reason and shampoo and treatment were placed.
Naturally, there are no toothbrushes, slippers, etc.
Cleanliness is normal.
Breakfast was included and there were bread, ham, cheese, sweets, etc.
If the price is reasonable and you stay 1 nights from the Argentina side to Puerto Iguazu, I think the location is No.1 anyway!
Personally recommended.

Turn right about 200 meters to see the three country attractions at a glance. It is also the starting point of the bus to the Great Falls. The hotel is rather spread out among dense greenery. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable but shower was extremely small. Don't drop the soap :)! Breakfast was varied and pretty typical these days. Lunch and dinner were excellent and much better than across the road at the other hotel. Staff was exceedingly helpful and very, very pleasant! I would not hesitate to stay at this hotel again and highly recommend it for the price. Go Victor, you were a delight!

The staff was incredibly helpful when our original itinerary had to change due to flight delays, and very helpful in general! They provided local information, suggestions, taxi service, and were very friendly and warm. Our room was lovely and clean with very soft bedding and linens. The pool and grounds were incredible! We loved our stay here very much. Other reviewers have complained about language barriers - you are in a Spanish speaking country! Know some basic Spanish when you arrive. If you don't know Spanish, use a translator app. One observation about the restaurant - the food can be quite good, but it will take a while to arrive. Again, you are in Latin America, the pace of life is slower. Be patient, have a caipirinha by the pool or a glass of delicious Argentian wine while you wait for food to arrive.

El baño es bastante grande , también cómodo. La conexión wifi impecable, la pileta estaba limpia, es chica pero esta bien para la cantidad de pasajeros del hotel, es para estar un rato porque hay mucho para hacer en Iguazu como para estar encerrado en el hotel. El desayuno es completo y riquisimo , un 10. El personal , todo, un 10 también, super amables y voluntariosos. Y le dejo otro 10 en limpieza. Tuvimos una estadía inmejorable.

We had a super spacious triple room but with uncomfortable pillows, mini towels, a wet bathroom with a very poor quality shower curtain in which rainwater leaked. The amenities such as soap and shampoo are also of very poor quality. The staff's attention is not good, they are not friendly and you can only check in at exactly 2pm. Breakfast is homemade, rich and varied with a wide variety of foods. It has a very large pool and borders a section of jungle in the background.

It is DIRTY, OLD, UGLY, SMELLY and we had to stay here because we arrived at 1am otherwise I would have left immediately. Here's a list of things that were not acceptable: -Carpets were stained, dirty, not vaccumed.... really disgusting. I had to keep my shoes on the whole time. -Shower was missing a door and the shower head sprayed all the way to the sink on the other side.... - Room smelled moldy -Shower body wash dispenser was RIPPED OFF - Caulking on the tub was nasty - Doors and cabinet edges were peeling and falling apart - Towels were very thin -Bad quality Pillows -Staff was ok and let us cancel night #2 Below is my review in Spanish so everyone can get this message... ----- Para los que hablan espanol... Porfavor NO te quedes aqui... Este hotel esta enganandote en las fotos.... Tuvimos una experiencia horrible. De 2 noches reservadas, cancelamos la segunda y nos fuimos a Mercure. Llegamos a la 1am del aeropuerto y solo por eso nos quedamos aqui una noche despues de pedir cambio de cuarto. Esto estuvo mal en los 3 cuartos que vimos: Las alfombras muy manchadas. Huele a viejo La ducha no tenia puerta y se salia el agua Las toallas son de muy baja calidad Todo muy viejito Las almohadas con bolas todas deshechas El desayuno muy malo... basicamente pan y fruta La recepcion y el servicio bien pero pues... el espacio horrible. No vimos el resto del hotel... me dio asco estar aqui una noche, no nos quitamos los zapatos mi novio y yo por lo feo que estaba la alfombra. :(

However, looking at the pictures before we booked, we fully knew what we were getting into. It is basically a hostel and a lot of younger or single or couples traveling stay here. Food prices are a bit high but can't blame them based on the low rate they charge at the facility. It is tired and minimal comforts in the room, but it promotes common area relaxation and the pool is nice and the sounds of the rainforest is enough reason to sit outside and relax. Staff was very helpful and the beer....best beer I had the entire time in Argentina. Their brewer is awesome.

The staff at the restaurant are super helpful and friendly, unfortunately the staff at the reception are not. Rude and not flexible. We arrived three hours earlier than check in and understood that only if a room would become available we would get it. The receptionist said she’d follow up but she didn’t. We had to come several times to the reception to check and still they couldn’t even know if the room was ready because housekeeping wouldn’t pick up the phone. This is clearly not a five stars hotel, mainly due to the attitude and lack of help and service from their receptionist Facundo.

This certainly adds to the charm and provides authenticity to their design choices. Rooms are OK and provide basic essentials. Air conditioning in our room was quite noisy but ceiling fans are present. Other reviews note the leakiness of shower enclosures and ours was no different. Just beware that there will be a puddle, bidet side of the screen once you finish and avoid slipping on it as one of us nearly did. We chose to eat at the restaurant 3 times, twice for dinner and once for lunch. We had read positive reviews of the dining and we thought the food was very well prepared while choices are somewhat limited compared to normal restaurants. THis is not a criticism because the quality of food was very good. However, the occasion we chose to eat lunch was disappointing. We suspect there are no kitchen staff or chefs on during lunch because the food was very odd. The platter seemed to contain strips of Milanese which are probably left over from the previous nights dinner. The remaining components were badly put together. All dishes arrived with cold fries. To the credit of the waiter, she brought back a plate of warn fries, unprompted. This lodge is located about 4km out of ”town” so beware that easy strolls into the nightlife aren't possible, you will need a cab, which can take 10-15 minutes to organise.

|0.98km from city centerstayed at the Hosteria Los Helechos for 3 nights as part of a land package arranged by a local travel agency. The accommodation is basic, rundown and near downtown Iguazú. A short walk away from this hostel are restaurants, souvenir shops and a bus terminal. Currency Exchange is quite far but some souvenir shops will change your money if you ask. The hotel seems famous to families. It was full when I stayed in March and many tour buses picked up guests in the morning. I checked in night time and was given a room facing a garden, which I liked. However, when I reached the room, the door was left open and when I entered, found mosquitoes inside. The bathroom door knob was broken but when I reported, it was immediately replaced. The room is simple, dark and you can tell everything inside it needs some serious upgrading. The bed and pillows are uncomfortable. The linens look damp. The shower water pressure, however, is very good. A simple breakfast is included and is served at your table. For the drinks, you have to help yourself at the counter. It is good and convenient that this hostel has a restaurant which is open until late night. What is impressive about this hostel is their helpful staff. Even if some of them do not speak English, they did exert effort in answering my queries about directions, tours, food and places to see. They even arranged a taxi pick up and when I reported about the broken door handle, a maintenance staff came in less than 10 minutes to fix it. Overall, it was still a good experience staying at the Hosteria Los Helechos. I just hope they will renovate the rooms soon and put new beds for the comfort of their guests.

Everything is additional: an espresso, additional; an omelet, additional; a cappuccino, additional, etc. They put some tiny cones to mark that you cannot park; when leaving with the SUV, I lightly hit one, and the security personnel, as if you had run over someone, stopped you, and they went to see the cone. Here are two pieces of advice: Foz has many more possibilities; if you go to this hotel, make sure to provide yourself with water; they do not give you a complimentary bottle or a refill point; and fill up with gasoline. As was our case, going to Asunción was a shame, and It's already a shame that the YPFs don't supply foreigners, and we only found one Shell service station. Check-out is at 10 a.m., just as information so that you can anticipate your plans, and ask for rooms finished in more than 10, the others will not have a panoramic view. We paid US$255 per night, so on an objective basis, it is a practical option, but it was not spectacular.

|2.94km from city centerThis hotel was booked for us by Planet Cruise as part of a whole S American Package. It was represented as a FIVE star hotel, and that it certainly isn't. We were somewhat down hearted when we arrived, the welcome was fine as was the Foyer, but the whole place looked as if it needed a coat of paint and a good clean. No help with the bags was offered. Our double room on the first floor (second in US terms) was large, but rather dingy and the carpet definitely needed a good shampoo. It seemed a bit isolated so we went for the Supper in the restaurant, which was best got from the extensive buffet, with good choices and as much as you could eat, and we ordered a bottle of wine, which we consumed over the next days - it appears that selling a GLASS of wine is not normal. Over the next two days this hotel grew on us. The staff were friendly and helpful. Five Stars it ain't by any measure, maybe 3 or 4, but the swimming poor and outside is delightful, the staff really willing and smiling, and the beds were comfortable. Over the next days

|3.32km from city centerTBH, we had higher hopes for this place but given the high season, the staff just can't keep up. There are plenty of staff members milling about but it seems that there is usually only 1 guy or 1 gal who can actually problem solve (or get what you need done/answered). So it's stark to see 2-3 others just standing around to tell you to hold a minute while one poor soul has to multi-task like crazy. So yeah, service is SLOW and if you're in a hurry, this is definitely not the place for you. Breakfast buffet every morning is solid - more than enough things to eat. The location of the property is quite tucked away so once you're on resort, you're really ”stuck there” - not that it's a bad thing. You will need hotel pickup/drop off with all your activities or to have the front desk get you a taxi (which isn't hard to do and hopefully you don't have to wait behind a group checking in to put in the request). The rooms are fine - a fair bit of wear and tear but given the volume of turnover and the forest environment, it's completely understandable. You'll need to AC cranking in the summer time and as others have noted, there's a fair share of mosquitoes. It's a quaint touch to navigate the different buildings where the rooms are and going over the suspension bridges - makes you feel like you are in the jungle. We didn't take as much advantage of the resort given we were constantly off property for long days of excursions, so you should balance that out. We had dinner at the resort one night and like others have said, there are better joints in town with faster service and cheaper prices - but do you want to schlep in? That's is the key question for opting to stay here or not.

The room can only accommodate 2 people. The children over 3 years old will have to pay 60 yuan for the room. The half-day price is almost noisy and the final price is 40 dollars. The room decoration design is very simple, almost no decoration. The toilet door is facing the bed, the room on the first floor is simpler, two small beds of one meter wide, no carpet. In China, it is completely incompatible with the five-star standard.

This hotel is fine for the price but there were several things that wrecked the experience for us. 1-the pool water was green so we couldn’t use it. Lack of chemical maintenance would be my guess. 2-air conditioner had no controls. It was either on or off. We inquired and they said it was the way it is. 3-room 307 has no wifi. Again we inquired and the answer was that’s the way it is in Iguazú. Finally we spoke with a different front desk person who said the WIFI is better on floor 1 so we moved and guess what, the wifi is fine on floor one. Our new room also has batteries in the air conditioning unit so we can control the temperature. Aside from a small amount of black mold growing on the shower caulk, the room is fine. The showers both have a shiny tile floor. Very slippery but they do have a hand hold in the shower. Well, I guess we are in the jungle after all. We were happy to be on the first floor so we wouldn’t have to ride the elevator anymore. The elevator stopped either right on the floor or several inches above or below so rider beware and watch your step! 4-our biggest frustration was with transportation. There are a couple of guys that sit in the lobby and represent a tourist firm of some sorts. They speak or understand no English. If you a Spanish speaker, you may have no problems but we sure did. We were abandoned in Brazil at the water falls there by our driver. We had to be very resourceful to even get back to our hotel. We had no cell service there and although there was wifi at the Falls, it was in operable due to the high traffic. Remember we are in the jungle. We had 2 other issues with transportation solely due to the “tourist company” not really being a company at all. I still don’t know their connection to the hotel but I highly recommend not using these people if you want reliable transportation. 5-the last issue occurred a few minutes ago . We asked for a late check out a couple of days ago and were granted one till 2:00 PM as we were then leaving for the airport. At 11:00 they showed up at our door telling us we had to leave or pay 23.00 late check out. My heart started pumping which can be bad for an old timer and I went directly to the manager. Told him we were granted a late check out by the front desk guy who spoke English. He insisted that we needed to pay the 23.00. I refused to do so and we “discussed “ all of the problems we have had. He was un phased until I said I was going to write a bad review on Trip advisor. Suddenly he said we could stay at no charge till 2. There is also some good to this review.. with the exception of the black mold, the rooms were quite clean. The breakfast was very good and as advertised. The hotel is in a good location. Forgot to say the tv stations are only in Spanish which is what we expect here in Argentina. My advise…if you don’t speak Spanish enough to get by, perhaps try another hotel.

|Flora apartmentThe location is only three intersections away from the bus station. There are many supermarkets and restaurants nearby. The rooms are wide and clean. I stayed for 3 nights. I spent a lot of time contacting the landlord due to a network failure on the first day. It was finally repaired the next day. For people who like to travel freely and are not in a hurry, the overall feeling is still very good value for money.
