|1.38km from city centerThis hotel is located in one of the inner roads of Alkapuri in Vadodara. I stayed for 1 night on business trip. Checkin-checkout was convenient. I stayed on MAP plan (breakfast and dinner free ***** with room). Both breakfast and dinner had sumptuous spread with lot of items. Food was tasty and service was good. Hotel has a very small pool too. Tip- room nose 205, 305 are bigger in size compared to normal rooms.

|5.46km from city centerWe were here at the end of November 22 and everything at the hotel was great. Hotel is just new and everything was top-up in order. The hotel has a large spacious room with fine beds, good air conditioning, perfect WiFi and the delightful warm heaven water shower we have had in months. Pool on the rooftop beautiful and large. Sports school has a lot of equipment, very useful. Very good breakfast and restaurant with very good food. A bit of the city centre, but thereby well in a beautifully newly developed part of the city, and very quiet. Furthermore, you are for 150INR also in the city centre with a riksja. We've enjoyed ourselves.

Service staff was very attentive and offered various dishes which were not part of the buffet but were served freshly made and offered. Room and bathroom was cleaned, all amenities were provided. Will surely come and stay here again. Location was fantastic, very close to Alkapuri / office.

|1.05km from city centerThe direct walk in rates are way too high as compared with the service and the facilities provided by this property. The lift is too small. One should not expect a bell boy to escort you toward ur room while check in. The room size was good but not upto the mark. The bathroom is small even in the premium room. They have only hand cum overhead shower which was also not in good condition. The worst part was their room service which shuts by 10:30pm. I checked in at 10pm, called room service for ordering food at 10:38 pm and they refused me saying the kitchen is closed. They asked me to order from swiggy or Zomato. This kind of service can be expected from a 2 star or a lodge type of hotels. All the above really proves how much they care for their guests. I would never ever stay at the this property again. There are lot ***y better options around and this property can be avoided.

|0.5km from city centerI left Bhopal at 5 am in the morning by road and self-drove my vehicle around 550 kms to arrive in Vadodara around 2 pm. We had an earlier booking and me and my wife checked into Sayaji Hotel-Vadodara on 18th April. Immediately upon arrival the Valet Hussain took charge of my vehicle and Bell Boy Subhash Mishra took charge of our baggage. Both these gentlemen were very efficient and courteous. At the front desk ***savi gave us a warm smile promptly checked us in and handed us our room keys. Subhash Mishra quickly delivered us to our room which had a beautiful view of the city. As we were settling down in the room Mr Mahesh, a technician, knocked on our door and proceeded to explain to me the operation of the TV remotes so that I could use them, I was very pleased with his courtesy call. Dinner in the evening was at the coffee shop aptly named as ‘Cravings’. The coffee shop was hosting a Guajarati festival and the servers were dressed in very attractive Guajarati attire. Over the next few days we served by Risha, Kamal, Altaf. Drupad and Danish. Since the weather was hot in Vadodara both I and my wife preferred Chilled drinking water and we preferred to occupy a small table on the side. Surprisingly after the first day the servers and the Restaurant Executive Richa were sensitive to our preference and the same table was held for us and we were served chilled water on arrival. Kudos to the Coffee Shop staff for their sensitivity to guest preferences. I guess the credit also goes to Debashis ***dal the Assistant ***ager. We had a number of meals, including breakfasts and dinners, at the coffee shop, the food and service were excellent. Though the tandoori breads need to be improved since the quality of all the tandoori breads including rotis, parathas, naans etc. is a question mark at the coffee shop and the time taken to deliver them is worse. Our stay in the room was taken care under the guidance of House Keeping Supervisor Bilal and his team comprising of Jagannath, Saurabh, Kunj, Ajit, and ***as. As a habit we do not change our towels and sheets every day to help preserve water. The housekeepers constantly kept up with our requirement during our eight day stay and the service was excellent. Readers might wonder how I ***age to remember the names of the servers and staff, actually I make it a point to ask for names of the servers and staff whenever I come across good service. In the hospitality industry complaints tend to be voiced at the drop of a pin but good work goes unappreciated.

|0.69km from city centerWe stayed 2 nights on our Gujarat road-trip stopover way back to Mumbai , booked 2 rooms for a family of 4. We were upgraded to a suite room + a super deluxe room - very generous of Effotel. This was my first experience with a Sayaji group property. It's located very nicely next to the Kalghoda circle , very easy to locate. Multi-storey building with ample and safe parking space. Great ambience. The rooms are beautifully done with all in-room amenities one could ask for. Spacious for 2 pax per room , comfortable beds , finally working television channels :) and a superb internet connection. The bathroom was uniquely done. We had a breakfast package and the buffet options were great with non-veg options. We opted for in-room al-la-carte lunch and dinner and the choices were amazing with the best food we had during our entire trip . We had no reasons to step out and explore. While I would like to revisit soon to enjoy the hospitality , Baroda is not in my usual travel itinerary .. maybe I will get to experience the same again in another Sayaji property .
