The hostel is very close to the Ayuni Metro Station. I have stayed at the hotel for four nights before and after. It is more convenient, but the bathroom shower facilities are occasionally difficult to guarantee. The boss is good, the girl lives alone, and the boss will give priority to the room with more girls, which is more convenient in hot Singapore.   In addition, the hostel is not far from the famous durian stand in Singapore, and it is convenient to eat.

It’s my first of three nights stay in this new establishment. I’m already loving it, so glad I booked this hotel. - Location: it’s a bit of walk (> 10 mins) from the nearest train station. However the walk wasn’t so painful because Singapore is safe and well organised country with mostly smooth and covered walkways. Close proximity to Changi Airport is a big plus too. There are several bus stops nearby that can take you to many different destinations. Hotel offers breakfast (to my happy surprise) and there are loads of local eateries around. The area is uniquely known for Durian markets, for me personally it is always interesting to walk through this lively neighbourhood but some might find it “smelly” especially for someone who’s new to Durian. - Room: I was very surprised by spacious size of my room compared to most of boutique hotels in Singapore where rooms are usually tiny. Very clean, still new and everything works fine except safe as the batteries seems to be run out (I’m sure it will be dealt with once informed). Bed is clean and comfortable, TV has both Netflix & YouTube. Essentials are all here but there’s not much bathroom amenities, so bringing your own (shampoo & conditioner, face wash, body wash and hand soap, mainly) is recommended. Also there’re no room slippers - again, bring your own! - Bathroom: very clean with clean set of towels, and shower works great. Only setback is that water spills out to the floor easily. - Staff: friendly and helpful, welcoming. All in all, this is already so far my favourite accommodation in Singapore out of many that I have stayed. No frills, clean and comfortable, reasonably priced, and nicely located. I’ll be back!

Aqueen Hotel was reasonably located (about 8mins) to the nearest MRT and shopping malls. The entrance of the hotel reception could be brightened up with warm lights and/or flowers however it was very clean and presentable. The rooms were small yet clean and comfortable. Pleasantly surprised that (we included breakfast), well presented, a reasonable variety of food and a good hot cup of coffee,

The hotel is located in the middle of Ajuni and Jialeng subway station, very convenient. The hotel building is three floors high, but there is no elevator, take the luggage on the third floor, a bit hard. And the hotel staff is average, the room is not very neat. The price is relatively attractive.

One of the cheaper options available.. thus said for that price we still expected a bit better. The room in itself was fine, the bathroom very small and the shower didn’t have hot water. When I asked at the reception he wanted to explain to me how a shower works and that I have to turn the handle.. they even went to check while we were away but in the evening there wasn’t hot water anyway. Location is all right, 10min walk from the MRT and different local seafood restaurants nearby. Maybe more expensive rooms are better.. but can’t say based of experience. Honestly wouldn’t go again.

There is no cleanliness there from the word ”very”. The location is perfect! Breakfast is coffee, bread, butter and rizzle-povidlo. The room is not cleaned (maybe you should ask separately). All Singapore is a miracle. The Emotion Hotel hasn't been darkened, but it is if you don't plan to be in it more time than outside. We lived for 3 days and worn the nights normally. The bathroom is normal.

Stayed 5 days in July 2022. 6/10 - 7/10 8 levels. About 7 rooms on each level. No dustbin next to the lift. 1. The male chambermaid and counter staff did not greet the guests. No smiles too. Busy using mobile phone at the counter. Talked to guests bluntly. Poor hotel etiquette. Foreign staff. 2. If you don't get them to clean the room or change the bedsheets DAILY, they will keep quiet. 3. Old traditional key to access the hotel room. 4. Need to return the key to the counter every time you leave the hotel. 5. The toilet door had some stains (looked like poo stains). 6. 3 -in-1 body wash and shampoo. 7. No table and chair, just an old stool. Request for them (different from the photos seen online). 8. Litters under the bed. Request to clean them. 9. No bathtub in the toilet. Acceptable. 10. 2 towels in the toilet, 1 floor cloth. All clean. 11. Bed light is unusable. Perhaps, the management has no intention to repair the bed light. 11. 1 toilet roll (poor quality), 1 box of tissue paper, 2 sachets of instant coffee, 1 electric kettle. 2 toothbrushes with toothpaste. 12. A few power point sockets. 13. 1 telephone in the room which allows guests to call counter only, or allows outsiders to call counter staff who will transfer the call to the room. 14. 1 dustbin 15. Rooms with windows. 16. Convenient with some coffee shops nearby. 17. A bus stop within 2 minutes walking distance. 10minutes walk to Aljunied MRT station. 18. No swimming pool/restaurant (budget hotel) ** Not suitable for kids to walk around at night. Lots of vehicles moving along the roads. Red-light district.

The decoration is very old and has some smell. You need to let the smell go in every day; the hygiene is quite clean; the sound of the air conditioner is a window machine, and the sound is relatively loud: the quilt is a layer of cloth, and there is a separate thin blanket; the location is in a pedestrian street, taxi It’s not very convenient. Many drivers don’t know it. There are subways and buses nearby. In general, the traffic is convenient; there are shopping places such as bugis around; the service is good; breakfast is relatively simple, and there is a Yabo Center nearby that is good for eating; Sim Lim Square nearby It is said that the water is deep, so please be cautious when shopping; there are no dental appliances, there are fewer charging ports, and no water is provided.

This capsule hotel budget-wise is recommendable. The location is great and 5 minutes away from the metro station. I have taken the mixed capsule. I did not expect much because of the price but I stuttered with disappointment when I was there. I availed myself of a stay with free breakfast for 5 days and in these 5 days, never I had tried and seen any food. What I saw are leftovers kept uncleaned. I usually wake up at 5-6 am because I have a conference by 7 am. By that time, no food on the counter. The toilets were furthermore small and crowded. No social distancing or infection control practices. The spaces are cluttered, unkempt, and unmaintained. I have raised the issue to an Agoda representative who told me that I should have the breakfast inclusion. Still, the next day, no breakfast was there. I planned to talk to the reception but most of the time, staff are not present there.

Campbell Inn

Please read - IMPORTANT about Campbell Inn: My 3 tourist friends from overseas have encountered potential scamming of tourists at this Campbell Inn. They have lodged a police report and contact Singapore Tourism Board and CASE in regards to this case. Hope by doing so, it will prevent the owner of Campbell Inn from cheating other tourists and disgracing Singapore as a safe country again. My 3 friends were ignorant of the various Google negative reviews of Campbell Inn and booked two nights with the Inn. However it seems that they have been scammed. It was their first visit to Singapore and she emailed and they tried to call the Inn several times without getting a proper response from the Inn. They wanted to inform the Inn about the late timing that they would be reaching the Inn. However as the Inn was uncontactable for a proper response, the 3 tourists decided to check-in physically at the premises. The Inn was obviously unsafe as it was occupied by alot of migrant workers in the premises and look more like a illegal foreign worker dormitory. The 3 tourists were initially informed by the receptionist that their room were given to other workers and were even asked to stay together with the male workers in the same room. They realized that these workers were wearing scantily (only sarongs) in the room and some of them appears to be drunk. The 3 tourists refused and left the Inn immediately feeling the whole situation was not right and unsafe. However they were left stranded on the streets in the middle of the night. My friends credit card was deducted for the nights which they did not stay in the Inn. They believed that the Inn management have planned this scam in such a manner that they can easily cheat the tourists who did not know the actual ground situation of the Inn. Also suspect several of these workers may be overstayers without legal work permits as they seems to be staying there for a long time. The Inn is definitely not a safe place for tourists to stay in. The practice of this Inn not only causes distress to the overseas visitors but also shame us Singaporeans which our country projected a very safe reputation to visitors from all over the world. The matter has been reported to relevant Singapore authorities.

It has a great location for a tourist. Walking distance from the metro station. Plenty of restaurants around. The space is really tiny. I got a single room and I had to jump on the table to access the bed. The boy kindly changed my room to an easier bed access. The carpet was dirty and the bathroom average. There is no ventilation, I felt lack of oxigen. You can hear any conversation as if they were in your room. The bathroom was in another floor...Well, I guess Singapore accommodation is hell expensive and this is what I get for this money.

Although the room is not large, it is well-equipped with induction cookers, refrigerators, cooking utensils, microwaves, etc.; the TV faces the single bed and can be connected to YouTube; and there are glass windows beside the bed to provide natural lighting. There is just enough space under the bed to store suitcases and shoes, and the work table can be pulled out from the wall, making perfect use of the space. Note that there is no elevator in the hotel, so you need to walk up two to three flights of stairs. There is no subway station near the hotel, but you can take a bus to connect to major subway stations.

I stayed here in early December 2022 for a few nights. In general, this hostel is very conveniently located. It is only 4-minute walk from the Downtown Line MRT station. It is the same station that has the closest ATMs. The hostel requires you to pay your balance using cash. If you want to pay by card, there is an additional 3% charge and you'd have to walk to their sister hostel to use their card machine. The sister site is on another street but they claim it's just a 5-minute walk. Also, if you want to print anything or use a microwave, you'd have to walk across the street to the Chic Hostel to do so since this one doesn't have it. There is a fridge but no microwave. The good thing is that they do your laundry, within the same day if you tell them to, for $12. The dorms on the 4th floor did not have a lock on the door so it didn't feel secure from anyone else who may decide to wonder up there. They did have a key card for the individual lockers though. There's only one outlet by your bed so I'd recommend getting an adapter with multiple USB ports or something. The 4th and 3rd floors share a 2-stall shower and toilet combo which was a tight squeeze and a bit moldy, which probably cannot be helped with such humid climates. Only bodywash was available in the showers. Each toilet come with its own handheld bidet. I just wished that the restrooms had paper towels to dry your hands. I did like that each bed had its own TV with Netflix and headphones (even though I never used it). The A/C runs all night which is great. I also liked that eac bed has their owne privacy curtains as well as their own drying rack and clothes hangers.

In curtin Singapore Reading, very close to the new site of the school, 15 minutes by bus, and close to Jin Wentai, the hotel provides continental breakfast from Monday to Friday, although the variety is very limited, but the breakfast is enough for nutrition, especially the ham is delicious, the hotel apartment room is what I see Singapore Hotel is comparison Big, there is a kitchen where you can cook kitchen utensils and tableware. The washing machine with dryer is very convenient. There are also food courts nearby, but there is a pasta restaurant downstairs in the hotel that tastes very good, and it is also very close to west coast park It is very suitable for running. house keeping is done on Tuesdays and Saturdays. It won’t be too disturbing to rest. Overall, this apartment is very good, very quiet and suitable for living. If you don’t like noisy, it’s also very difficult to book.

Will recommend friends to stay here Remember the subway is the blue line. It’s not far from anywhere. There are two 7-11s nearby, which are smaller. The photos were taken at the hotel entrance and outside the hotel window😂 I didn’t take a picture of the room. Anyway, it’s the same as what you see on the website.

The only bad thing about it is that the walls are quite thin and you can hear people from other rooms near by just slamming the doors shut, hitting the walls for god know what reasons. Which brings us to the second night, we were woken up at 2:30am as a family staying at the 3rd level was making so much noise at such hour, you can hear conversations going on, children’s screaming and shouting that we barely could fall back to sleep. It lasted for a good 45mins!! We hope that they would implement some noise regulations during certain hours and be proactive whenever this happens in the future. Overall nothing much to complain about, staff were super nice and friendly. Room is just nice for couples staying a few nights. Location was perfect as there were many cafes and restaurants located at the area, so you are spoiled for choices when it comes to getting food down your belly.

Arrive in Singapore late at night. I was at an age when it was difficult to stay at the airport, so I chose to lie down, but this was quite comfortable. A taxi from the airport costs $33 (including late night charges). The late-night reception was unmanned, but the self-check-in system worked well, and although it was a small space that looked like a closet, the women's 6-person room was so quiet that I thought no one was there, and the mattress and sheets were surprisingly good. It's high and I had a good night's sleep (although in the morning some people started unpacking their suitcases and there was nowhere to step) Showers and toilets are clean, but be aware that the floors can get wet. Also, perhaps because of the corona crisis, there is no breakfast service as mentioned in previous reviews.

The cube capsule was very good value for money, considering how expensive Singapore is. We had a double capsule in a large mixed dorm, however the capsules create fantastic privacy and it didn't feel like a shared space at all. The capsules were well maintained and neat and had everything we needed. Mirror, plug etc. Shared bathrooms were cleaned regularly and were great. Location is brilliant, right in Chinatown and very close to the MRT. I would definitely stay here again. Only criticism is that the capsules and bathrooms can get verrrrrrry hot. One night, my partner couldn't sleep all night as the AC just didn't seem to be effecting our capsule. We notified the staff about this the next day and they gave us a fan for our capsule. Which was fantastic. Not great if you need silence for sleeping. Overall, a pleasant stay.

The hotel facilities are fairly clean, the air conditioner has no noise, the bed is comfortable and not soft, there are free mineral water and oranges every day, there are not many samples for breakfast, but it is enough, eat in the morning and start the day. The room has a hair dryer, very nice. The front desk can help to call a taxi, there is a lift for the disabled, very practical. This review is long over due. My extended family and I stayed at Oakwood Studios Singapore through most of December 2022 and onto the first week of January 2023. The circumstances around our stay was very difficult but the management and staff at the Oakwood Studios made our stay most comfortable and we can’t thank them enough. This is not your typical service apartment but one with a special touch. And it seems to be popular with expats on short assignments to Singapore and families who have patients being treated at MT E Orchard or many of the other medical facilities across Singapore. Nestled across from York hotel and one building next to Quincy this is a most unique property. I have stayed at both the others in the past but I prefer Oakwood by far with its balcony in every room and clean and modern style with kitchenette. But it’s the people that made all the difference. I would like to specially thank Hitesh for going out of his way and even while on holiday to accommodate our ever changing dates and need for rooms. A big thanks to Nass as well for always stepping up and being most accommodating. Thank you Dan, Denise, Kym, Jet and Shobina for all the help at reception, with the brilliant breakfast boxes and recommendations. The residents loved the Thursday night cocktail and snacks which were complimentary and the many hidden outdoor places in the building (including the roof top pool). A must stay in Singapore for those planning to stay for a week or longer. At the time we were there, we heard that the Ascott group had bought Oakwood Studios. As good as the Ascott brand are themselves, I do hope they allow Oakwood Studios to retain its unique style and personality.

Pretty basic stay with option to cook which I liked! Check in was rather messy but thankfully it wasn't busy when I did. Location can be a chore if you return late, long walk from mrt.

I stayed here for 7 days because I saw on Google Maps that it is close to everything. The price is affordable, and the room is clean, including the bathroom and beddings. However, one thing that turned me off about this place is that after 9 PM, there is no staff available to assist with any problems. I accidentally left my keycard inside the room and couldn't get back in because they don't provide an extra keycard. I called their hotline number repeatedly, but no one answered. This was a devastating experience, and I told myself I would never return to this place.

Check in staff was nice and friendly. Had some problem finding the entrance into hotel but the trainee at the concierge at drop-off/pick up point was helpful. Requested for corner room and they managed to provide us. Room was clean and spacious. Toilet seat has heating feature and bidet which is great. Nearby MRT and walking distance to many food places. Smart TV with Chromecast. 24/7 gym. Overall good experience and would consider coming back again.

The facilities are very good, it is a local villa area, very beautiful, the landlord is also very good, and provide a lot of help. The only thing that is not perfect is the 30 Singapore dollar sanitation fee, which is not cleaned. It is said that it will be cleaned only once in 7 days. We only live for three days. We do n’t have cleaning tools ourselves, which makes us unreasonable.

We recently stayed in a two bedroom apartment (2A &2C) and my mother stayed in a one bedroom apartment. Highly recommend this location to stay. Apartments were well maintained, guest services helped organising taxis if needed. Complimentary breakfast had variety. My children loved the pool and swam every day. The garden surroundings were lush and green. I would definitely stay here again
