Go to New York on the weekend and choose to live in Jersey City across the river. The Residence inn that used to live in the past was mainly suites, that is, the bedroom and living room are separated, but the bedroom, living room and kitchen of this house are connected together. If there are multiple people, it will be crowded and inconvenient. In addition, the hotel itself has no parking lot. It must be parked in the next public parking lot. It is 28 yuan a day on weekends. The hotel's breakfast is general, there are more people. A 15-minute walk from the hotel to the ferry terminal. There is a supermarket and a subway downstairs.

The environment is really nice, but the service is really strange. There is not even a bottle of water for the guests. When we arrive in the middle of the night, we can only open the faucet and drink until we are full. In addition, I obviously booked a double bed room, but it turned into a twin bed room. I didn't care about it in the middle of the night, so I only slept for a few hours.

This hotel is quite cost-effective compared to Manhattan. The location is good. Just one subway stop to the Manhattan World Trade Center, the subway is opposite the hotel. It is quieter and cleaner than the Manhattan side. The room is clean and the breakfast buffet is rather monotonous. Not much, there is no such thing as a domestic waiter standing at the door asking what breakfast coupons you want, and the breakfast time is from 7:00-11:00. I will choose this hotel next time.

Being a World of Hyatt member, I requested and hoped for a checkin prior to 4 PM as we had a bus to get on by 4:30 to our event. Out of several of our friends that attended the event (15) we were the ONLY ones that didn't get the early check-in. Changing from travel clothes to formal wedding garb in other friends rooms. And not a single one was a World of Hyatt member...go figure. The room was clean, staff friendly, wonderful views and nice buffet breakfast (farewell to bridge and groom in conference room.)

The suite hotel is a 10-minute walk from Newport Path. There is a paid parking lot at the door. It is just across the road from the Hudson River and you can see Manhattan. The room has a microwave and gas stove, cooking utensils and dishes, but no washing machine. Cleanliness has to be done when you check out. You usually have to change bath towels and clean up by yourself. There was an Asian lady at the front desk who was very nice.

This is our 4th visit here and it never disappoints. 1st, the convenience of coming in from the south is excellent. Parking right next to the hotel is very convenient. We have found the staff to be welcoming and professional. The restaurant for breakfast is also consistently good and fairly priced. The two best reasons to stay here: You must have a NYC view room (bring binoculars to watch all the boats, planes, helicopters, barges). 2nd, you are a fairly short walk to Paulus Hook and the ferry to lower Manhattan. We do that every day we're here and it is a wonderful way to see NYC. We'll be back soon.

The property is very nice. If you haven't stayed at a Global Luxury Suite before (like me prior to this visit), the check in was a little confusing. Global Luxury Suite has suites in buildings that are residences. The check in office isn't open at all hours like a typical hotel, but if you are after those hours, the front desk of your building has your keys. Parking could be done through the building you are in (which required a check or money order only!) or through GLS which would have been in a different building. Once we got things situated, the stay was great. Building had a very nice pool that had a view of the Manhattan skyline. We needed some extra blankets, which were brought up promptly. The one bedroom suite sleeps 4 (I think some of the info said it sleeps 3). Would stay here again. This property is about 4 blocks from the PATH to take you into Manhattan.

This hotel is convenient if you're staying in Jersey City and want to be close to transport/the mall other activities. I wouldn't recommend this for a regular stay. It honestly feels like a museum. We were here this past month and its just run down and could use a deep clean. There are zero amenities that match the price point. I also feel that if you book with a third party they make sure they put you in the worst rooms. Upon arrival neither front desk attendant was warm or friendly but rather looked at myself and my guest as if ”we” did not belong in their hotel. As someone who has stayed in the past, this post covid visit was it for us. Wifi isn't free, no free water, no apples in the gym area, etc. For 200+ a night not even a decent coffee maker in the room.

We found this hotel with our three children. We had a room with a partial view on Manhattan. Even partial, this view has filled us. The Metro access for Times Square (33ee) is next to the hotel. We also loved the walk on the edge of the water that leads to an exceptional view of the city. The room was very good format for our family. There could have been more towels for our family of five. When we arrived, the service was very good, we could have access facilement(27$us)to an outdoor parking as we had a roofbox. I recommend this hotel for a family wanting to pay for access to the nearby station Path and for a wonderful view of the island!

In a place as expensive and expensive as New York, a hotel (hotel) with free parking and free breakfast is the most important thing at this price. I wonder if there is a second one! First of all, the location is quite convenient. It only needs to pass a shopping mall from Jersey's path station. Followed by breakfast bread, milk, fruit and coffee, although the variety is simple, but basically all. Third, to provide an extra bed, Ctrip reminder is 10 knives, which is quite favorable. Next time I have a chance to come to New York, I still recommend this one!

Everyone was amazing. My connecting flight home (after a LONG flight from Eastern Europe) was cancelled. I booked on the app and checked in within an hour. My room was so comfortable. I was too exhausted to go out to get food so I got something from downstairs. It was delicious! Special thanks to Michelle who got me sorted out at check in and to George for picking up my bags and taking me back to the airport. Highly recommend!

It seems that Marriott only booked it. The front desk service is very good. The hotel is relatively old and clean. The room is a little small. Half of the first floor is in the basement. The air conditioner is really loud. This is the first time I see it. Noisy air conditioner, I can’t bear it because I slept well, there is no water in the room, I need to go to the front desk to get it, I stayed for two days, came back very late on the first day, the room was not cleaned at all, I didn’t eat breakfast, so I can’t comment, mainly because of wake up Not coming. It is very close to JFK Airport, which is convenient for connecting flights, but it is still a bit far to go to the city center.

Our overall one night stay was fine, but I rated this property ”average” due to: - At check in, Peggy did not acknowledge us as Hilton Honors Diamond Members. - Our room (1011) was in sad shape. The floor was sticky. The furniture had tears and was very worn down. The ceiling had large water stains and the walls had water damage in several areas. - The shower had no 'hot' water. When you turned it to the hot setting, cold water came out, you had to let it run for awhile (wasting a lot of water) to heat to lukewarm, at most. However, our overall stay was okay due to: - Glad to see recycling bins...which we used. - Grateful for the complimentary shuttle to and from the airport. - Enjoyed the complimentary breakfast- plenty of choices. - We had a nice view of the city from our 10th floor room. This hotel is close to LaGuardia Airport. It was quiet, with exception of hallway noise. We did not have a car, so I cannot comment on the hotel parking. The front desk had plenty of menus offering Mexican, Chinese, and Italian food for delivery.

The room facilities are complete and pleasant. Free yoga mats and foam shafts are provided. Morning and evening workouts can be played on the TV. Everything is related to the concept of fitness. However, the service of the restaurant electric lemon was really bad. When the breakfast was taken, the waiter gave the menu and left. No one came to ask for coffee or tea. After a few minutes to prepare the order, I couldn't find the waiter ... … Finally stopped a waiter passing by, I said I was ready to order, and she was still unhappy to ask me Are we in a rush? (Is it in a hurry?) This attitude and tone really made me doubt myself Not a five-star hotel.

Overall, I had a good experience in the hotel. The rooms are rather pricy but that’s normal in NY, especially if you have a room overlooking Times Square. The staff is (mostly) friendly and courteous. There is a 10$ voucher that you can use every day in the bar. They hotel has room service which is not a given in NY after the COVID related down scaling of services in hotels due to lack of guests and staff. The food is OK, though the quality and quantity varies from day to day. Be careful with your laundry service. I overlooked that the day I was handing in my laundry was a holiday and I was charged a hefty $140 for a few underwear, T Shirts and socks due to an additional holiday/Sunday fee. However, after raising the matter with the hotel manager - who handled the matter in a very friendly and professional manner unlike the operator I spoke to first - a discount was added to my bill that compensated for the additional holiday laundry fee. Since it was me that had overlooked the holiday, this was a nice and welcome gesture that I much appreciated. Overall, the hotel can be recommended though the rooms are a little too small for the price. They are, however, modern, clean and comfortable.

Because the plane was late, I arrived at the hotel at 1 o'clock in the middle of the night. The lady at the front desk helped me to check in very quickly. It was the speed of New York. Hotel location is very good. About 5 minutes walk to Fifth Avenue, turn to Central Park, and the subway station will walk for 5 minutes. Two doormen stationed at the front entrance saw us retrieving our luggage from the cab trunk, but made no attempt to help. I had checked in a day earlier and was great full that the room was made available at 12 PM . They did tell us there was no view; I was okay with that as we are in NY regularly and at this trip it was not a priority. I haven’t stayed at this hotel in a few years, but remembered the excellent butler service and lovely accommodations, and was looking forward to it. The checkin felt like something one would expect at a Highway motel. No explanation of any services, no welcome drink, no Butler introductions, nobody accompanied you to the room or directed you to the elevator. The room had the tiniest window, with a curtain without a valance (# 1406) facing a wall a few feet away. No Natural light what so ever. The leather head rest on the bed was ripped on a couple of spots. It had only one not very comfortable lounge chair in a fairly large king room. So if you are a couple, you cannot even sit together for a cup of coffee. In the past at checkin the butler would introduce themselves, offer coffee , tea etc and make sure you were satisfied with the accommodations. We had ballet tickets for a matinee, so initially decided to just go with the flow. Went for a quick lunch at the Astor, paid around $170 for 2 ceaser salads, a bloody mary and a glass of Duvel Leroy Champagne. I have no problems paying premium prices for value , but $28 for a Bloody Mary with a celery stalk garnish and stoli vodka? They claimed to have invented it , but definitely not worth the price. When we returned back from the ballet and returned to the room , it seemed really depressing. They call it an interior room , but it could easily be in a windowless basement. We requested a room change and requested to speak to a manager. We were told the manager was downstairs and would call us back. We were going to dinner, so left the front desk our cell number. The manager ever returned the call. On our return when we requested a room change, we were told that they were completely sold out. At this point we were exhausted an decided to just let it go and returned to our room for a good nights sleep. It was around 10:30 PM, and there was a continuous loud rumbling sound. When we called the front desk , we were told that the noise was from their service elevator which was being used a lot that night as 2 of their 4 passenger elevators had been broken for a couple of days. They offered to now move us to another room. So at 11 Pm we had to get dressed and pack up to move to another room. The new room (1903), had a moldy smell. Got up next morning with a back ache as the bed was not comfortable. In the morning the moldy smell seems to have gotten even worse and I did report that. I was told it was because of air conditioning! We called the butler for coffee in the morning. The French press coffee arrived with c

We stayed here during our trip for five days. This was our first time in New York City and it was exceptional. Since it was the first time visiting, I spent weeks researching hotels looking at neighborhoods, reviews, room types, everything! I’m so happy we decided on The Gotham! From the front desk to the restaurant there were no issues. Everyone was very helpful, attentive, and kind. The pictures are exactly like the rooms. We stayed in the king balcony room on the back side of the building which was really cool and quiet. We also stayed in the queen balcony room because we didn’t do our dates correctly lol and thankfully they had a room open. Looking out on the balcony in the queen room was awesome. We are returning over Christmas and have rebooked the queen balcony room and I can’t wait! This room is noisier but it’s not to the point of not being able to sleep. My husband and I live in the country surrounded by cow fields so if I can sleep with the noise level anyone can!

5 night stay for a family birthday and reunion. On arrival there was a little mix up with the booking which manager Chris & staff worked quickly to resolve to our satisfaction. The suite had oodles of space , the bed was massive and very comfy. Have in your mindset this is an older hotel , with old fashioned lifts ,decor and doors. March weather was very cold and the old, drafty windows made the rooms a little cold when the curtains were pulled open, but there’s easily operated heating in the bedrooms which you just turn on to heat the room quickly. There’s lots of space to hang up clothes. The shower was over bath and adequate. The cleaning service was very efficient with the room cleaned every morning. Complimentary bottled water, tea & coffee making facilities in room. Food at both the bar and restaurant is very tasty, especially the Irish breakfast. You can get a sense of the real will from the management and staff to get back to normal after the awful pandemic closure. All the Staff were very helpful and friendly. Location is excellent. This was booked through a travel agent when we said, nothing fancy just travel lodge type, for sleeping only really. It was for me and my daughter, 60 and 40, twin room requested. It looked ok on website so we were happy. Oh dear, when we got there we were told, you have our deluxe double, i told the receptionist we had requested a twin, he said non were available, so we thought a double like a travel lodge/premier it would be fine. The room was the size of your little bedroom in a house, the bed was long ways on running against the wall, after a conversation with the receptionist, a twin room miraculously appeared at a price of a further 200 dollars!! Over a barrel we agreed, what choice did we have! Once in new room, which was nice and had rooftop balcony, we decided to shower and change before eating, the shower was via the toilet in the room, i got in and then my daughter shouted mum, don't turn round! the shower, which was lovely and hot, was exposed to the whole room through a full length window! No modesty at all. The room service and cleanliness was great and i am sure for a certain type of guest these rooms are good value and do the job. I have attached the welcome poster on the back of the door, we have laughed since. Also don't eat at the joint next door, it too expensive and not good value, walk to the end of the street onto 2nd ave and you ll find lovely eatery's and service. Also don't use their return to airport service, they use a luxury limousine service which is double the yellow taxi!

From the moment I walked in, the vibe was perfect. They have a great management team and staff, management consistently present in the lobby, greeting guests and making sure that things are running smoothly. There is a small, intimate bar that opens in the evening serving great cocktails. Service is genuine and on spot. Great location on the upper west side, on a side street - Sarafina's is off of the lobby serving delicious food, steps away from the lobby. The staff was noted: Both cleaners(who perform their work in a great deal) and receptionists (who are very handy, very available). Discrete view of a NY area much quieter than the general: front is Fairway, open h24, very comfortable to buy any kind of needs and even Starbucks and a pharmacy. First let me start by saying that I was contacted by the hotel for feedback following my stay. I asked via email and voicemail to have the General Manager give me a call and waited before writing this review. I asked the Director of Guest Services for follow up and still have not been contacted. Check in-We had a great experience at check with the front desk. The agent was efficient and friendly. She followed up with a phone call to the room to see that everything was ok which we appreciated. Room-The room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was a little small. Housekeeping-At check in we were told to call before noon if we wanted housekeeping. We did call and were told that they could only pick up trash and bring clean towels. I know this has changed since the pandemic and we were fine with this. Bar and food- We did not receive any welcome drink or champagne so after we settled in we went to the bar for a drink and something to eat. We were told that there was a private event and that they could not accommodate us. After some push back the hostess said we could sit down for one drink but must be done in 20 minutes. I understand private events are lucrative but there should always be some space for guests to relax and get a drink after a long journey. Before arriving I had called the front desk and asked to speak to a concierge about reservations. I was told that all of the reservations for the restaurant and jazz club were made via Resy and that I should book them myself. There was no priority for guests and no concierge service to help. I never saw a concierge in the lobby during my 3 day stay. We had a great time at the jazz club and the host was wonderful. We coordinated the experience on our own with no help from the hotel. Noise-We were a little worried about the noise in this hotel as the rooms open to the bar area. Our room was on a high floor it was not that bad and the music shut down around 10:30 pm. They have installed a white noise devise that sounds like a broken air conditioner which was worse than the actual noise. There is some city noise as rooms are facing busy streets but that did not bother us. What did disturb us were the guests next us. You could hear the other guests late at night. Definitely a party hotel. Amenities- The web site states Wi-Fi is free which is great. There is a 34.95 dollar a night room charge. Not sure this is justified. We had no champagne greeting, were not able to enjoy the bar due to a private event, no bathrobes, and no priority at any of the restaurants or clubs. When I completed the guest survey the response I got was if I wanted a bathrobe I should ask for one. Booking- I booked this hotel directly via the hotel website. That was a mistake. After the first night we looked to change hotels. The hotel had rates much cheaper than we were paying on most all of the third party websites. We decided to stick it out and not hassle with a hotel move so

Me and Harlem go way back. Aloft Harlem used to be my go to hotel before I started staying more on the lower east side. In fact, a Marriott employee who used to work at Aloft directed me to this brand new, just opened hotel. I was excited to return to uptown and stay in this spot! I wanted to love this hotel. I don’t like giving lackluster reviews and feeling like a Karen. But over two nights, the transgressions just piled up. I’m a Marriott ambassador who stays in hotels about 240 nights a year. I never bring up my status. This might be the first time I actually uttered in frustration, “it’s September and I’ve already spent 27,000 dollars at these hotels, why is this so hard?” Upon checkin, it took almost an hour. This is even more frustrating because my first night was business and my company always sends a spending authorization. Two days in a row I checked with the hotel to see if they had received the authorization. They lost the first one. They mismanaged the second one. I always call or chat ahead to ensure a smooth checkin. It was still a mess when I arrived. The room was a “Central Park view.” I should have known better; I don’t know why I believed this title. I know New York geography better than that. I was looking into a building. Central Park facing or in the direction of Central Park shouldn’t be called central park view. I had changed from the city view to the Central Park view before arrival and I guess I’m glad I did because while they were trying to figure out my reservation they mentioned they had oversold the city view rooms. I will say the black out shades do a great job. The bed was fine. Sheets were a little co****. This hotel costs close to what a Moxy costs, so their sheets should be comparably smooth and comfortable. The bathroom was an absolute joke. Maybe not all the rooms are like mine, but mine may as well not have had a door. As you can see in my photos, the door is for “art.” There is a huge gap where you can see everything! Like probably 12 inches or greater of a gap! Who designed this and thought it was a great idea?! Glad I was alone. The air unit is SUPER loud. Doesn’t bother me as much since we usually have a fan on at home, but it was so loud that when it came on, I had to turn the TV up. It will likely bother some people. And you can hear everything through the walls. Oh, and the toilet clogged twice. And one of the days, the hot water was off all day for repairs, though that’s out of anyone’s control. It’s just giving context to a very un-relaxing stay. Back to the front desk mess—I later noted a destination fee on my bill (I had two separate bills because one night was business and one was personal). I don’t mind destination fees—I’ve had them at many Marriott properties. But I was never informed of this one. I even asked at the restaurant, and they had no idea. I finally went to the desk and asked and they explained I should have been given vouchers for each ni

Great location for a person seeking the heart of Times Square. There are various levels of rooms so don’t be offended if you don’t book a city view and then get a window with a view of a building. The entrance was decent, yet for a W hotel, I never saw a doorman on site. We never had staff assist us with our bags either. The initial impression after the primary door is decent. They turned it into an sort of underwater experience. With this being said the four nights we stayed there I also never once saw a security guard as you first enter leaving a bit of safety concerns up for grabs. From there you have to catch an elevator up to the main lobby which is nicely decorated. Upon checking in don’t expect to be greeted with a smile (even if you have rank as a bonvoy member). Just get your key and go. As for the room the overall appearance is dependent upon the level of room you choose, so to be impartial I won’t give my opinion on the rooms. I will though, continue to comment on the lackluster service as that aspect should be stellar across the board. Upon asking for recommendations for the city we were handed a crumbled, partially torn paper with a generous number of locations, no additional information was provided by the staff. The night before checking out I found myself in need of a razor. I called guest services and they advised they’d be able to provide one. 40 minutes had passed and still no razor. After burning much time just waiting, I decided it would probably be faster for me to walk to CVS buy one and come back (which it was). Again, I mention the location is prime Times Square making every item the hotel forgets to bring you, easily found and easily accessible by foot. The cocktails at the “Living Room” bar are horrible. They range from $20-25 per cocktail and if you light a cigarette near it, you’ll probably catch on fire from the amount of unshaken liquor in the glass. A heavy pour isn’t always a good pour especially when you’re looking to actually be able to walk the city. We have the living room bar 3 tries before deciding to just have our first set of cocktails outside of the establishment. A benefit is that the W gives you $25 to spend at the bar daily with your $25 resort fee. For the first time in my life free wasn’t actually better. I really would love a call from someone at the establishment as I am certain the experiences my wife and I dealt with are not the “norm”. Overall, do not recommend. I would recommend The NY Marriott Marquis.

The bed was very comfortable, the booking was a wonderful room, a big bed, and the front desk was kind enough to ask if you would have an extra bed. There is a supermarket next to it, you can buy something very late. I received 100 dollars of dollars and returned to it in three days.

My room had a nice view. I originally booked it for four nights, but I couldn't check in due to something unexpected. I applied for a refund and the hotel agreed. But one thing that made me very angry at the time was that the staff didn't lock the door for me after house keeping was completed. I went out at noon and came back at three o'clock in the morning. There was no theft or anything like that. The ice machine was right at the door of my room. There are so many people coming and going that it makes me scared just thinking about it!

We stayed here for a week in May and loved it! We were nervous after reading negative reviews but really can't understand what reviewers were complaining about as that was not our experience at all. As 3 females travelling we always felt safe here - Central Park was 10 minutes one way and Times Square was 10 minutes the other way, it's a perfect location. We loved the view from our room at night time when New York was all lit up. Our room was spacious with a big bathroom, always well stocked with plenty of towels and toiletries. The little kitchenette was very handy when we bought drinks and groceries, or took boxes up from breakfast. Talking of breakfast this was fantastic - a huge room with plenty of seating and a massive array of fresh food always being restocked by the plenty of staff milling around answering any queries and cleaning up. There was a gentleman who was always clearing away tables and emptying the bins and was friendly and helpful. He obviously loved little kids and would pay special attention to families who were juggling their kids while also trying to have breakfast. A couple of times we saw him produce a packaged cookie from his back pocket to give to a little one and their little faces lit up and the parents were always so pleased that someone was paying attention to their kids - we thought this was lovely and such a personal touch. We've read other reviews that the breakfast room was too small with a limited range but that is not the case at all - it was brilliant - best of all they provide boxes so that you can take foodstuffs away with you which we did all the time and could then store in our in room fridge. We never saw the cleaners but they did an amazing job and twice they did our washing up! We never had that before and it was a pleasant surprise as we were intending to do it when we got back in the evening. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful and one young lady receptionist always gave us a wave and a smile as we passed by as she recognised us after a couple of days, though she always struggled to understand our English accents! The concierge guys were brilliant and so helpful. I can't remember their names except for the one with a film star name - Orlando. They answered all our annoying tourist questions and one of the guys, when we asked about a cab, took us up to the corner and used his whistle to stop a cab, opened the door and sent us on our way - such a nice personal touch which made us feel cared for. The air conditioning in our room was very effective and was not noisy at all so maybe the people who mentioned it were just unlucky. Yes the elevators did make a noise but not that you couldn't sleep. We loved New York and would like to return and will definitely stay here again - I would 100% recommend staying here.

The hotel is in a great location, very close to the central railway station. There are many supermarkets and restaurants nearby, and the United Nations headquarters is within walking distance. If it is a business trip or travel, the price is relatively high.

We choose La Guardia Plaza to stay for our short vacation, convenient location, nice staff from the shuttle driver to the guys at the restaurant, the only black spot was that after staying 4 nights not a single time a housekeeper came to clean the room or stock toilet paper, or clean towel, even I request it 3 times, I understand that due to a covid situation but at least remove the garbage, I had to do it myself… other than that everything else was ok.
