Overall, it was OK. There was a slight noise coming from somewhere, but I fell asleep after being very tired. The bed was great and the room was big. Not sure how the bathtub was not used. One star was deducted because there was an obvious smell of smoke when entering the room. The jacuzzi will be very noisy in the middle of the night.

It's a very ordinary hotel. I was happy that there were amenities and two bottles of water. Even though I couldn't understand the words, I was able to feel the staff's considerate behavior and feel at ease during my stay. We are on the 6th floor of the building just after exiting Exit 1 of Keimi Station and turning left. It was close to the station and there was a night market right in front of the hotel. The night market was very nice and had a local feel.

We've traveled worldwide, and The Koos Hotel is the worst and dirtiest hotel we have ever stayed in. If you are considering staying at this place, book another place now. My family had a big family reunion in Taiwan. Due to the hotel's convenient location, which is within walking distance from my relative's house, we booked several rooms to accommodate our big family. The night front staff was rude from the minute we walked into the hotel. He has no basic manner (ie. hello, thank you, or smile). I feel sorry for this miserable man. The day shift front desk staff was better but could have been better too. The hotel is very old and needs a lot of work/TLC. You can smell it as soon as you walk into the room. The carpet and bathroom were old and dirty. One of our rooms even had a moldy closet. The shower was not draining and flooded when we took a shower. The AC is bearly working to stay cold. Not to mention, we saw cockroaches in the room. The list goes on and on. The only clean thing was the bed sheet and bathroom towels. We arrived very early at 1 am, plus many of us just got off the plane after 15 hours of international flight. We don't have enough energy to find another hotel at that time. Besides, we have already paid for the rooms. What annoyed me the most was when the manager promised us a bigger room (we even double-confirmed before arrival); by the time we check-in, the same night shift front desk staff said the room they promised us was booked by other people already and gave us a standard room instead. No apology whatsoever. We are upset because the Koos Hotel has no simple principle and all because they want to make an extra buck. I don't want anyone to be treated this way. I stayed here for 10 days due to quarantine law in Taiwan. The only negative thing I could find was the old carpet, everything else was great in my opinion and experience. The front desk and meal preparation service were excellent. They were very polite and provided everything I asked for. The room I stayed in was about 390 square feet and very spacious. The view was very good, you can see the mountains, rivers, highways when you open the window. The windows can be opened enough to keep me safe. Three meals a day were prepared very well. Near the end of the stay, I changed from a mixed diet to a vegetarian diet. They provided 48 bottles of water; each bottle was 16 oz. The hot water was very hot. The air conditioning worked well. The light in the room was good. Overall, it was a wonderful stay. If I have the opportunity, I will choose to stay here again.

2017 Dec 17-19. The family with the extended family had our quick getaway to Taipei. The trip consists mostly of zoo visit and tours. We had a glorious time, so we never managed to experience the hotel facilities too much. The proximity of the place to the tourist areas and price were consideration for the booking.

2.24 National Taiwan University LTTC CFA level I CBT EXAM 1⃣️Close to National Taiwan University, it is really convenient for National Taiwan University of Science and Technology to go to National Taiwan University for interviews and exams. 2⃣️The room is small and the picture given by Ctrip. The photo of the room is completely inconsistent. The room is very small and even I live with a double bed. 3⃣️The boss said that the building is old ant nest You can’t clean it up. Don’t eat in the room. It’s only when you arrive at the hotel. 4⃣️Seriously close to the locomotive on the roadside, my room is terrible... I don’t know why I was so unlucky. I have been preparing for the CFA for eight or nine months. Because of the hotel, I only slept for three or four hours the night before the test, which was a heavy-duty two-session test in the morning and afternoon. I completely failed in this garbage hotel, or the room on the side of the main road just close to Keelung Road. The windows are extremely bad. I heard the sound of the locomotive for two days. In fact, the perfect and complete test schedule was completely ruined in this bad hotel (mainly because the sound of the locomotive can’t sleep at all) 5⃣️I had a room before I left. It's very special to stay in B1 for the first time. The bed is in the center of the room. The children like it very much and can play games around the bed. It is very convenient to have a laundry room and a water dispenser, and it is also convenient to be right next to the MRT station. Location was very convenient. Its a 10 min walk to the taipei 101 MRT station and right under the hotel is a 7/11 convenience store with a MOS burger fastfood chain. The building does seem old but the interior and rooms were recently renovated. My only problem was their plumbing in the toilet. It releases a bad odor on certain times but other than that the room is really clean

新開幕耶～又離八里碼頭、腳踏車步道都很近，二話不說訂房去。訂房時有備註要高樓層，但實際入住是5樓蠻失望的，房間看出去就是泳池，也看得到河岸邊，但當然不是全景，房間算寬敞，mini bar 免費，小朋友備品是我目前住過算是很用心的，兒童拖鞋是鴨子的不是一般素素的紙拖鞋，備品圖案也很可愛，浴室也很寬敞，最誇張的是，浴缸居然可以一家四口一起泡，哈哈哈，真的很大耶～隔音方面我覺得還可以，只是無法接受的是，是約晚上8～10點這段時間可能比較多人在洗澡，在房間看電視時都會聽到廁所內發出水錘聲，很大聲，覺得誇張的聲音，第一次遇到飯店會這樣的，房間只有這個缺點，另外公共設施我覺得泳池，兒童池都很不錯，泳池可能要天氣熱一點去比較剛好，不然水太冰了。隔天早餐的部份也覺得很扯，我們是第二輪進場的，時間到了還要等候，進去後很多食材都沒了，也沒有補，感覺很差；11點退房時也要排隊排很久，不就是退房還要等，感覺不優，綜合以上，若房價在便宜一點我還是會去，希望下次去時早餐有改善。

Hard to find : we found the hotel after a few time. The location on Google Maps and Apple Plan were not exactly the same + the place don’t look exactly the same as on internet. Service : we received a call bc the householder was having some personal issues (alright, that’s life). But we called the number, and it was difficult to reach someone + someone were in the hostel but no answer until the same person decided to scream something we didn’t understood. Cleaning : it was clean ! But a smell of humidity. Amenities : we were very happy, necessary things were available. BUT sleepers are not personal (maybe used by all the customers even if maybe cleaned), the breakfast is not homemade, it’s delivered (and it’s actually good !). We enjoyed the place, even if it’s pretty far by foot, and difficult because of the several stairs. Jiufen is actually on a mountain, but it can be difficult for people with disabilities. We were very happy, even we arrived pretty late, and the famous Old Street was closed when we finished to settle.

I was surprised at the size of the room. there were two king beds, and low table and sofa. it was too big to make use of that nice facility, but still comfortable.
