It is my first time to go to Laos and have to go on business. Therefore try to stay here because it is in the middle of Vientiane. At first, there was a problem that could not check in because of some pictures. Come to the hotel But the hotel is very helpful. Let's stay first and check later. In conclusion, it's just a misunderstanding. Overall staff take good care, speaks gentle, impressed. Stay in a double bed room. The bathroom has a bathtub, clean room, good view, the key is that there is an area to talk about business. In the morning until late, I am impressed. Next round, definitely use the service again.

The hotel is simply exquisite. Welcome to France in Laos. The room and the furniture just makes you feel you are in Paris. The room is the best I’ve stayed in with 32 countries under my belt. Simply stunning. The staff are simply wonderfull and super friendly and the manageress was wonderfull in assisting me over a major issue when I was left with no access to funds after my credit card was stolen in Cambodia a few days before I had arrived in Laos. She was professional but handled the issue with a very sympathetic and empathetic way. Well done to her, because she obviously leads by example, which is why the staff are so friendly and good at there jobs.

It’s a great bang for your buck this hotel is! Communication is a breeze, and the free airport pickup and transfer to the railway station are just fantastic perks. I messaged them for a pickup as I landed super early, around 7:30 am, and guess what? The driver was already there waiting for me. Talk about service! The room was spotless and really cozy—I slept like a baby during my stay. Since the hotel is pretty new, they’re still getting things up and running. For example, the free breakfast ran out quickly because of a big tour group. But no worries, Manager Chan was on it! He quickly whipped up some dumplings for the individual guests like me. How awesome is that? The front desk staff might struggle a bit with English or Chinese, but they’re super eager to help. Google Translate can be a lifesaver here. The driver, on the other hand, speaks fluent Chinese. He even offered his WeChat, so you can chat with him in Mandarin easily. One of my favorite spots was the lobby. Manager Chen often makes tea for himself and invites guests to join in. He’s so friendly and generous with his time. I learned so much about Laos and its culture just by chatting with him. The only downside is that the hotel is a bit out of the city center and since it’s new, Google Maps isn’t quite up to date. This can make it a bit tricky for ride-hailing apps to find the place. A few little extras like a hair dryer, a city map, and some tour information would be great additions for travelers. But overall, it’s a wonderful place to stay! ---

Stayed here for 6 days. My double room was large with a wardrobe, dressing table, chairs, fridge... Pls note that there is no elevator here - based on my observation, staff may or may not offer to help with your luggage. When I checked in, the female staff did not show me to my room or offer to help with luggage but few days later when a Caucasian couple with 2 large luggage came, she offered help and walked them to their room. The room seemed clean but the floor was dusty - my feet were black from walking around after a while. Wifi is great and AC works fine too. There is free breakfast - mainly porridge with some meat (pork?), some buns and fruit with coffee, juice. Simple and functional. What is great: large rooms, large bed, great location near shops, night market and restaurants. Not so great: no lift, limited breakfast variety, stingy on toilet paper, construction works nearby One highlight was the really sweet staff - they try their best to get you what you need (my room had a wardrobe but no hangers) and are always smiling and considerate. Would recommend if you are ok with climbing stairs and have small luggage.

My family and I stayed here for our last 2 nights in Vientiane and we were not disappointed. Upon checking in we were greeted by refreshing cold drinks. The check in process was incredibly smooth. The hotel staff helped us move our bags to our two adjoining rooms. Our rooms overlooked the garden/pond and was extremely cozy. I only wished we had stayed longer. The pool was amazing! I found it rare to get deep pool that is swimmable in Laos and Thailand and this one did not disappoint! It was perfect. We were able to get poolside service too. We also dined at the restaurant and our dinner and drinks were great. It is hard to find nice cocktails in SEA outside of the major hotels and Green Park’s dry martini did not disappoint. My parents liked the hotel so much they even joined us the following night and rented their own room right next to ours. We had a fabulous time and will definitely be back to stay here since we have family in Laos. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality.

Big, smoky seedy smelly molded rooms. We walked in and booked cuz we were on an 8 hours bike trip and it makes us tired. Later we realized that it was almost double (we paid 595k), I saw the rate on google review and it was 360k, fine we know online booking is cheaper. The reception kept asking for paying with USD instead of Lao which I didn’t like it at all. He charged me finally more then official exchange rate. The breakfast was okay in terms of choices but it was a huge disappointment cuz all items were cold, I asked for a hot tea and finally the restaurant manager approached me and bring me a hot tea. All and all, with this room rate, you can definitely find better options. It was a NO for me

Het hotel ziet er van buiten niet zo fraai uit. Er wordt iets groots recht tegenover gebouwd. De kamer was erg netjes en erg schoon. Ontbijt is beneden in het restaurant gedeelte en was erg lekker, moest je bij aankomst al bestellen. I am now back in Vientiane and is again staying at Ibis Hotel Nam Phou. I consider this hotel as my home here in Vientiane. I am a regular here at Ibis Hotel Nam Phou and have always experienced excellent service and super friendly staff especially Mrs. Thip and Ms. Laty! They are so nice and always taking care of me. I have always been given a very nice room whenever I stay at the hotel but this time they went over the top!!! Instead of the corner room that I normally stay in, they provided me TWO rooms adjoining!!!! I so appreciate the effort they make just to make me comfortable and cosy! I highly recommend staying at Ibis Hotel Nam Phou! You will be accorded very excellent service making your experience so memorable!

I made a reservation because it included airport pick-up, welcome fruit, and breakfast. I chose this hotel because it is far from tourist attractions but close to the airport. I made a pickup reservation in advance and received driver and vehicle information. However, there was no driver at the airport, and after calling the hotel 3 times, I was able to get a pick-up taxi after waiting 40 minutes. If you don't speak Chinese, you won't be able to communicate. If I had known it would take this long, I would have chosen a hotel close to the tourist attractions. The employee didn't say a word of apology. I couldn't even see the welcome fruit. The location is located in Chinatown. There is a large supermarket nearby. The room looked spacious and clean, but the bedding was not.

My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights in a balcony room on the 3rd floor. The guest house is a good location right in the heart of Vientiane. The room was spacious, clean and had good lighting. The staff there are very friendly always greeting my wife and I with a smile. The bed was wide but a little on the hard side for me. My only complaint is that the guest house does not have an elevator, so dragging your luggage up 3 flights of stairs might turn into a physical fitness test. Also rooms are not soundproof so if you are awaken easily by noises don't choose a room with balcony instead choose a room in the interior of the building.

The breakfast was simple but delicious. The room was clean but a little room maintenance is required (one of the sideboards was coming off, the shower gel bottle dispenser was broken, the shower to tap button was difficult to use). There is a fridge, electric kettle available. Overall was a satisfactory experience.

I have used this hotel. It's a little far from the center, but there are electric bike rentals. It is close to the Thai Embassy. There are many local restaurants in the area. I decided to try this new hostel as a budget alternative. It is dormitory style, in a kind of mini-cube design, like Japanese hostels I have read about, but with curtains instead of secure doors. On the plus side: Everything was very clean. The shower was nice and hot. The plumbing all worked. The reception area is a nice coffee bar with good food, coffee and tea and good WiFi internet and a nice loop of current music by the original artists. There is also a 4th floor balcony to watch the sunrise. On the minus side: There were no power outlets in the reception area. (But there are two in each cubiicle.) The shower had no hooks or rack to hang a towel or clothes. The cubicles have no secure door, just a curtain. (But there is a separate locker for each cubicle to secure luggage and valuables.) There was no hot water for coffee available early before 6:00 am. And the sleeping area was refrigirated to about 20 degrees C (but the comforter was nice and warm all night). I might try it again, and I will definitely be back to enjoy the coffee.

We stayed here the last two nights of our 2-week stay in Laos. We were on the fourth floor and had a lovely view of the Night Market and Mekong River from our spacious balcony. Despite the hustle below us, the room was quiet. The breakfast had ample fresh choices and the staff opened it early for us since we had an early flight. In every instance, the staff bent over backward to help us. The hotel is located in an area with coffee shops, restaurants, and tourist shops and galleries.

I've stayed here many times whilst working in Laos. It's a very central location so easy to walk to bars and restaurants int he city central area. The facilities and service are excellent. Good gym and pool never too busy. Room is ok but not quite as modern as some of the international 5* chains. The biggest plus is the staff. Very reliable, professional and friendly.

We drove from vientiane all the way there and back so when we got there saw a vacant parking spot right in front of the entrance, tried to back in security guards come tap on my window and says you can't park there. He says thats for the vip’s but there was no sign or anything. Then we went inside got to the counter were we suppose to check in. The girls at the check we nice and welcoming but a bit slow, good thing we could check in at around 12:30. Unfortunately we booked 5 standard single king beds and ended up with 2 kings and 3 twins so paying 400,000 kip for each room. So check in was all done, walked past the slots got in the lift then up to the room. Bit of a smell in the lift, rooms looked quite old. Tv didnt work. Aircon was nice and cold. The bed was to springy you could fell the springs. Bed side table even had burnt marks on it. Pricing of the mini bar and the in room dining was pretty reasonable. The bathroom was small and somehow the person who designed the shower must be a complete *****, so basically the shower stuck on the wall but the pipes run across the top of the glass and out side of the glass, so you have to reach your arm out turn it on then get in, slide the doors close which then i felt like a can of sardines. So what could i say 400,000 kip was just a place to sleep put your head down for one night. Dansavanh golf course is bery nice and challenging, a very scencic and relaxing course. ****** not so much variety of games to play. You cant even place cash at the table and then buy in chips. I was told be the dealer at the table to walk and change it into chips at the cashiers booth. So it was quite annoying. Only had 1 blackjack table. They didnt even have pontoon, poker, craps, or ****** war just missing the variety of fun. So a basic weekend went by dont expect anything from the ****** and hotel no quite good. I would not go back again. Golf was fantastic. Next time just come real early in the morning for golf and go back to vientine in the afternoon.
